Bahut sunder Main aisa soch rhi thi ki measurment ke saath mile thanks a lot for sharing this Please isko zip aur frill ke saath bhi bataye.Mere pasas video hai short but aapko kaise send karoo mujhe nhi pta.
Most practical baby nest idea. Easier to wash and dry faster compared to the conventional ones that you need to put the whole babynest into the washing machine (though some types have removable mattresses). I am going to make one by sewing a quilted strip of long cloth onto the middle of the babynest ( before inserting the mattress) that can wrapped over the baby's body and hands to prevent the baby from moving ; something like a swaddle wrap. Haha.
Hello Jessica! I am really happy to hear that you like the video 🥰 I would love to see the final result if you would like to share it with me on @madamepoly Instagram page. 🤩
It's wonderful you're using linen for this. I'm a beginner sewer and I wanted to modify my Dockatot to make it natural for baby #2. I used a thrifted linen scarf for the boarder cushion encasement (i.e. the snake). I'll be stuffing it with carded wool from a USA mill. I'm also replacing the poly batting from the pad with wool batting. I wouldn't recommend anything else but wool and linen for this.
Hello! Yes, the large 88 cm / 20 cm pieces should be sewn with the 72 cm / 20 cm pieces and the small 68 cm / 20 cm pieces with the 52 cm / 20 cm pieces. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. 🤗
This looks great, a simple design!! But I wonder if it would be too smalll... Babies beyond 1-2 months won't fit I think? But that's okay this was a great tutorial and we can adapt this to any size I guess :) thank you for sharing!! ;)
I buy linen from a local shop. You can also search for linen fabrics on Etsy. I bought some onrganic linen sample on Etsy and was very pleased with the quality.

I am stuck on this. Do you put the big pieces together and the smaller ones together? I could not tell by video.
