  • How to fix the battery enclosure to the deck? Normally - using bolts. Want it look neater and more professional - you need to install thread inserts into the deck. This is how you do it.

I wish I had watched this a couple of months ago. It would have saved me a lot of time and frustration, but now I know I was doing it all wrong. Thanks for the clear explanation.

I swear this video couldn't have been uploaded at a better time. I just received my enclosure and my inserts and was wondering the best method on how to do so. Thanks Pavel! And as always great video!

You’ve killed it with this deck bro! I’m a fan for sure! I used the same inserts for my esk8 build but I didn’t use any glue. So far so good

Even though you absolutely know what you are doing, Pavel, does it make you just a little nervous when you drill into that beautiful deck? :)
Well done video, my friend, and another great intro.

Lol good point mate. It always feels strange to drill into something that took so long to build. I just know that if anything - i can build a new one .

Very Nice ! I love the washer and nut trick. And the depth stopper for the drill bit i have made one similar but not with axel spacers. Awesome Pav ! P.S. ArtWar -ESK8FREEDOM-

You’ve probably already done them all But if you would have put the glue in the hole instead of on the threads it probably would not come out everywhere
