Love my 2011 silverado 5.3 ls she's tuned with 395 whp stock everything it's my daily it has 225k miles never left me stranded
@@badazz2969 No 5.3 ever built came "stock" from the factory with 395 HP. 2007-2013 Silverado 5.3 made 315 HP stock, even the newest 5.3 with DI only makes 355 HP.

I just finished rebuilding a 5.3 I put a btr stg 3 cam and milled out the heads myself got injectors and a fuel pump and full dual exhaust. It’s only gonna make like 380rwhp maybe but it will be a big step up from the v6 that was in it. Your truck is how I want mine to be the turbo spool sounds insane

In the world of time vs money, i had a crazy idea of buying someone's LS turbo pickup and just having a thrill all summer burning the tires off it with Dad, i think he'd get a kick out of it.

hey man not gonna lie your on to better things than current american garbage. that being said i went similar routes. but my daily toy in the warm months is a square body s10 blazer with a fuel injected and roller motor sbc. low investment and i have been offered over 12k cash for the thing on multiple occasions. i have roughly 2 grand into the vehicle and and its good on fuel weighs nothing has gobs of torque right off idle and it makes all car ppls knees weak.

I wouldn't be surprised if they added some gap to the rings. If not it's all in the tune...and gaskets and ARP.

@@Carmelo-l8h I'm doing the restoration on the body and haven't fired it up yet 🤣...I did end up having forged rods/pistons and gapped rings installed though...I have 15# and 18# pulleys to try out

@@LsxNova That's a solid setup. Lol the 4L80's with the straight cut rear planetary gears really howl through that aluminum driveshaft in first gear. Sounds like an old school bus!

Similar to my neighbours Truck that I’m buying… 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500… 6.0L LQ9 LS3 Intake, Long Tube Headers with 3 inch Exhaust, Hatfield built 4L80E, TruTrack Posi 3:7:3’s, 3600 Yank Stall Converter, Stage 3 Tooley Cam with HD Springs & Guides, Caltrac Traction Bars, High Volume Fuel Pump, New Drive Shaft with HD Joints, 4 inch Front/6inch rear lowering kit… 450HP to the Wheels… Just need to get a Turbo now after I buy it. What would you suggest?

With the stock 4l80e and the triple disc did he have to mod the oil pump (transmission) or install that sonnax valve?
Stock 80e wont hold that power you need to build your 80e and a triple disk converter is a must for that kind of power.
Stock oil pump and no issues. Been together for over a year now like this

It’s a built 35 spline rear with 4.10 gears.

I need help. I have a 03 Silverado fully built motor from the block up trans is stock besides corvette servo it shifts fine into all gears under easy throttle but under full throttle at around 95 it won’t shift into fourth but I let off it’ll shift into 4th

Stock ring gap. Had 140k before the 5 years of nitrous now been boosted for over a year

I have a 2012 Chevy Silverado 4.8l completely stock I bought used with 50k miles and I have 799 heads I have some buddys who have 4.8l a Tahoe and round eye and they don’t have 799 heads , do I have “aftermarket” heads or does 4.8l come with 799 in never models

Co2 for wastegate dome pressure. It adds pressure to keep the gate closed longer to make more boost

just grab the fattest turbo can you can find… but i daily drive my 900horsepower blown 6.0L truck and run a zr1 cam because im about that daily driver life and didn’t need my truck acting like a cutting board “chopchopchop”
