I kept fathead minnows with cherry shrimp for a few years, and the shrimp bred well. I did catch ONE fathead slurping up a shrimp. I think the zebra danios I briefly had ate all the shrimp. The present ordinary guppies seem to be fine with shrimp. I have one assassin snail in a 29 gallon tank with neocaradina and guppies, and two assassin snals in a 20 gal shrimp tank. So far so good with them...
I have cherry shrimp in a 29 gallon tank with panda corys, platys, and harlequin rasboras. The tank is loaded with shrimp that all came from 5 original shrimp.
I have a funny story since you mentioned Yoyo loaches as definitely not shrimp-safe and despite this story, yoyo loaches are still 100% not shrimp-safe. 🤣 I moved plants from one tank to another tank that had a large school of yoyo loaches in it. Apparently, I missed a bunch of small Amano shrimp that were hiding within the plants despite my best efforts. I figured it would just be another fancy buffet for the yoyo loaches as I feed them snails often and they kill all of them within minutes of dropping them in. I didn't think much of it but to my surprise, about a year later I still have about 10-15 amano shrimp in that tank with the yoyo loaches. The Amano shrimp are even bold enough to swim around collecting food at feeding times during the day now and the 3-4 inch yoyo loaches will check them out but never even seem to so much as nip at them. It is one of the craziest things I have seen in my tanks.
I have a cleanup crew of cherries in my Endler tank, there are no shrimpletts and have seen them destroy adults. Once a month I throw in half dozen from my Cherry tank.🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐🦐
I've been keeping my Neo's with green neons , pygmy hatchets , black neons dwarf chain loaches pygmy corys and Otto's and I have never seen any of the shrimp being messed with but it's a thriving 75 gallon and I feed two X a day
For my neocaradina I added some fish to the tank but for my new caridina tank I’m doing a shrimp only tank. Love your videos and want to see more videos!. I’ve kept cpds , ember tetras, autos, pencil fish, blue neon tetras, hillstream louch, pigmy Cory’s , and many other small fish that are supposed to be shrimp safe .
I have a 90G, heavily-planted tank. HUNDREDS of shrimp, 21-fish (a few old guppies, white clouds, SAEs, a pleco). I feed the fish twice a week, the fish are FAT. They’re DEFINITELY eating shrimplettes sadly, but they do their job in keeping the shrimp-population in check.
Habrosus with shrimp? My yellow fire 100+ colony was wiped out by a small group of them, and corys in general are meat eaters and if they get a shrimp touching their feelers while they are searching for food, and if it can fit in their mouth, shrimp is gone. I'm not saying they will actively hunt for them, but if your tank is not a very big one chances are the shrimp is going to bump into them now and then. Only corys I would recommend with shrimps are the pygmys as well as hastatus. Otos go well with shrimp, I haven't seen a problem with parotocinclus either. Loaches will feast on your shrimps. Hillstreams might be the exception, but even the smallest "normal" type of loach will eat shrimp. My tiny little rosy loaches tore apart even adult shrimps. Some color morphs seem to be less likely to be targeted by them though. If keeping any kind of group/schooling fish with shrimp, it can either work, or not. Depends on the aggression level of that specific group of fish.
I have been trying to get habrosous for over 8 months. I need them because I only have 3. They are in a tank with 7 Julii and 9 pygmys and cherry shrimp. They do swim with the Julii but I desperately need at least 5 habrosous. If you get them in I would love to know. Edit: I commented before I finished watching and no sparkling gouramis are not shrimp safe. Mine eats adult blue dream. The cherrys are much larger so maybe them but not babies.
I have just one sparkling gourami in a shrimp “only” tank and he completely ignores the shrimp. However, it’s only him, and he’s been in there since he was VERY young.
I attempted to keep juvenile Amano shrimp that were bigger than cherry shrimp in with my Sparkling Gouramis and my Gourami killed and ate them all. I would not attempt putting cherry shrimp in with them after that.
Out of your 5, Endlers, Rasboras, Cories, and Pleco all eat shrimp and will eat shrimp babies. If you put them in the same tank, be ready to have your shrimp baby population eaten on the regular and provide lots of hiding spots for the survivors. If you keep your fish fed, they shouldn't go after the shrimp but its not going to be out of the blue when one of them is eaten regardless how you feed, especially finding adults that were taken a bit out of.

What combo of F:M did u have? I am planning on getting the same amount too
Endlers are my favorite I had a colony of red cherry shrimp explode houses with Endlers, the more pure the line of endler the more shrimp safe.
I have kept glowlight Tetras with red cherries. They get along just fine
I have Norman's lampeye with cherry shrimp, makes for a really pretty tank. I've never seen the tiger teddy, I think I would love those.
I have Ember tetra (Hyphessobrycon amandae) with my Neocaridina.
Can't say for sure about baby cherries but my albino corries have never messed with my Amano shrimp.
I think I need to get my hand on some tiger teddy pairs and get breeding, they seem crazy underrepresented in the market right now but they're awesome

I currently have a bunch of lampeye killifish with my shrimp... they are only 1-2cm max, and don't bother my shrimp, ever.

Also the first fish and last can't both be your favorite.... 😂
See a baby eat a baby. That definitely a new favourite saying for me.
He said on a live stream once, "See a micro baby, eat a micro baby" and it's been my favorite saying from him since! haha - Em

My ember tetras are living happily with my neo shrimp. They may eat a baby, but I've never seen it and I've got tons of babies.
my endlers livebearers have devoured my shrimp and ramshorn snails!!!
Currently yellow goldenback shrimp with assassin snails

Celestial Pearl Danios seem to do well with my cherry shrimp. But they probably eat babies. Because I haven't seen any
Will Harlequin Rasboras be ok with shrimp? I am not trying to breed them.
Sparkling and Croaking gourami will pack hunt and kill adult shrimp
I have just one sparkling gourami in a shrimp “only” tank and he completely ignores the shrimp. However, it’s only him, and he’s been in there since he was VERY young.
Are 1.5 inch mollies safe for shrimp?

Don't hillstream loaches need fast water and shrimp calm water?
Hillstreams do not require fast water.
Loaches, maybe.(Balitoridae, yes)
Botias, NO!
Take that @maddison Renee! I win this one to comment first lol 😂
