Both of the accused are top 500 in overwatch and both also played valorant when it came out. I highly doubt all that game sense goes out the window in csgo.

Theres a bunch of clips circulating about that from other peoples POV where its dead quite so the drop is really loud, but on Kephriis end its barely audible.

The whole tournament format basically encouraged the cheating. The whole "They aren't pros!" argument might have water; but goddamn, I don't think so with how some of those knife kills scream baby's first game, not streamer/pro/someone trying to win real money.

From what I've seen Kephrii got Global in cs a few years back. Sure your aim can get pretty bad but you just don't lose map/game awareness like that, keeping your back exposed, not watching the correct angles etc. The fact that he places acusations on other people just shouts "I did cheat, but they are cheating too!"

I’ve been GM/TOP500 in Overwatch. I’ve played with these dudes, nonstop. I mean like all day, some times weeks. Gale and Kephrii are basically best friends. They duo non stop, even off stream and on Smurf accounts in plat and I would also find them there. You’re telling me, they are on opposite teams, and if you get more knife kills you’d win $25K? To be fair, I would expect knife kills to be more common due to the scoring system compared to even regular games. Most people would probably just shoot you instead of taking the risky extra seconds to knife. However, that also means there's a very easy way for people to abuse this system and it shows.
Bruh there is insentive in game too, you get extra money and don't show up on the radar. People always try to go for that shit it just doesn't work out like it did here
This type of bs tournaments we have seen so many times its not even funny anymore. Friends + 100k tournament + obvious bs system = perfectly fair and fun game where will nothing happen at all.
There are two answers to this. Either it was 100% cheating or the player is legitimately one of the dumbest people alive. No other possibilities. I'm dogshit at CS and you would never knife me that many times in a single game. No chance someone who's supposed to be better than me and more knowledgeable could be that oblivious without either cheating or being one of the dumbest people alive.
To play devils advocate, he could have had his audio off, he could have had his headphones on backwards, one could have been cheating by stream sniping and waiting for the perfect time to go for the knife while the other wasn’t… Orrrr the most obvious, they cheated…. If I was in a tournament where knife kills gave 5 points, after the first time being knifed, I’d stand out in the open with my back to walls so I couldn’t get knifed ever again without seeing the person first, and if I end up being out gunned I get out gunned…. He 1000 percent cheated, but it’s hard to prove…. It’s the OJ Simpson trial all over again.
This whole tournament format was such a good way to make everyone suspicious if anyone got a knife kill especially after the original accusations which just makes this so funny to watch to see if we can guess if anyone is cheating in the first place

In such a strange format you might not understand what to do. And in Overwatch it is not that messy when you understand the game, because each roles have different approaches that when you understand you know what you will expect from the opponents. I will also take that I also have no knowledge regarding how to play CSGO even if I have the said understanding of Overwatch, so this might be just our different in understanding.

even in regular CS matchmaking, knife kills give you more money, more points on the scoreboard, and if you knife someone in gun game you instantly rank up and the guy you knifed ranks down so it's easy to see their logic, I just don't see why they would make a *COUNTER-STRIKE* tournament that *DOESN'T VALUE TEAM PLAY*

Faceit and Heaven Media rushed their "investigation" in the matter. They were fast to respond to put out any tension or possible drama from the accusations and didn't take real care into looking into the history of Kephrii's skill in shooters. Kephrii is self admitted to being a former Global Elite player before he moved to Overwatch, and as someone that is in a similar boat... You don't just lose game sense especially when you play other Competitive shooters to the top level. Individuals went through the footage themselves to find if Faceit's and Heaven Media's findings were accurate. Most of the situations where he was knifed were around B, and he was deliberately ignoring Apartments allowing Gale to knife him. Comparing that game to a previous game on the same map from the previous day, Kephrii isnt against Gale and is playing B where he isn't being deliberate to ignore Apartments. I 100% believe this was a planned knife reed for Gale. They're good friends, they duo Overwatch a lot and are friends outside this. And if you know of Kephrii's history in Overwatch in the slightest... You'd easily come to the same conclusion.

I wish I had stats for it, but I bet that 75% of the times I spent 200$ on a taser on an eco, I came back with an smg or the other side's main rifle. I watched some of the clips and they have patterns consistant with their overwatch mains for example the runn across at 7:37 is very consistant with both the hiding and maneuvering strats of both widowmaker and hanzo that they play. hanzo's tend to dance from cover to cover alot and widowmaker players like to hide in corners and barely visable places like they do through so much of the match.

it's funny, I just randomly tuned in to tiffae's stream while this match was happening. That Kephri guy was whining the entire game and started so much drama with his teammates too.
It's kinda insane that i know more on the story then this video cares to share.. Long story: First correction, it was 4 knife kills on Kephrii by Gale, yes it's suspicious that it was the same player, but when you go back in the vod, you can see That Gale Said at the beginning "Guys i just learned that knife kills gives you 5 point, so imma be trying to knife people today" and so he did, He "CHOOSED" B Side, While kephrii was "Assigned" the B side, both solo attacking - Defending. So it's only natural that the two will have likely high encounters. As for how Gale pulled it off on kephrii, 2 was a bad call out from his team mates, 1 was because he was slow - he fucked up. The last he didn't hear cause the moment Gale dropped behind him - was the moment Kephrii spoke to his teammates thus he didn't hear it. People say how unlikely for this to happen. But Gale Had only 4 knife kills, Tiffae had the same if not more knife kills, She got double knife kills in two seperate rounds - making it 4... Everyone was trying to knife people. At one of the occasions one of the "knifed" even said "She didn't even make Audio" Here comes the Ugly tho, So how come this was the result of all this ? Why was it so hostile... It all started with Gale just being a beast of a FPS gamer, If you don't know who gale is, he has 10k hours in OW, Consistent Top5 DPS hitscan player, Used to play Cs as well some years ago, very well known in the OW community, never had a accusation. But Psalm didn't think so, he accused gale of "Ghosting" - aka Looking at chat for information, but he wasn't, he even turned his chat off, kept his eyes on the Game monitor, That didn't work out so Came the Aimbot accusation > Admins went ahead and checked vod + Demo and said hes clean, Psalm didn't like that and Raged about it for 1.5 hour in a call with one of the admins. Then tweeted on his personal account saying "I can't believe this is happening.." THEN Came the "TRADING" accusation with kephrii cause he is "buddy buddy with gale" + the knife kills gale got off on kephrii.. First of, they are friends, the others were business associates tho.. That was the moment that started out kephrii's side of the story, Kephrii soon noticed people don't react or respond to his questions or comms, later he randomly gets a warning from a admin (because of the knife kills) that one of the players have complained, So he asked to switch sides from B to A... He was kept being ignored, He had to keep going to the point he was assigned to secure. Turns out, Tiffae and many other have muted him or ignored him on purpose since the accusations they held against him and his buddy buddy gale didn't go down with them well, this created this "Hostile environment" Wich in turn resulted in drama, His team muted him entirely - AND ONLY THEN he muted them too. (Wich made him play better more focused ironically) The admins said both players are clean, no foul play, no hostile behavior. But still proceeded to Remove kephrii.. What nobody knows.. Is that the admins offered kephrii 5k$ to leave the game quietly :).. He refused, so they just kicked him with no money.. While gale the accused "Cheater" stayed in, wich is weird even tho He is clean it does have a weird image in your head doesn't it.. Gale the person that got 40-50kills Only ended up 2nd place, while Nick the guy that barely moved a finger won.. Because they fixed the match, He was running a scout, and comming with his team "I have tagged, you can kill" Since Assists earn more points then kills.. Psalm the NFT scammer, and Nick the Cs Lotto scammer.. In a fixed game where they have abused every possible rule and score system.. It's believed that, Tiffae and Nick were Stream sniping, or at least gaining information off of their monitors, nick would Suspiciously look, turn his entire neck to his left, and have a amazing call out out of nowhere and that repeated every turn many times.. It's not far fetched to say, that they didn't know who Gale was and what hes capable of, and invited him without knowing anything, but he started spitting into their plans so they started throwing allegations.. I was there when i watched Gales last match, and it was low key thrown by Noko and the others on purpose. There is a lot more in between stuff. Like how nobody really knew about this event, or how it turns out Cs Players avoid the organization for these reasons.. Or how the third price gets 5k 2nd 15k and third 50k a massive jump.. And it's not team wide, a single individual gets this much... Kephrii Argued with the admins to change the rules, the score system, do something about the knifings, the assists etc... but they said "It's just for a fun tourney so casuals can enjoy too" Even players said "bro it's just fun" while hard sweating to share assists on the scout.. How kephrii was bribed to take money and leave, like would you pay someone that was guilty ? Or how Psalm and Tiffae Dropped the info to Jake Lucky that "gale and kephrii are cheating" 2 hours after the admins have already cleared both of them in their private discord chat... I'M sorry, but somethings are just not short or simple.. If you were to piece it together this shit could've been a legit documentary.

From what I've seen Kephrii got Global in cs a few years back. Sure your aim can get pretty bad but you just don't lose map/game awareness like that, keeping your back exposed, not watching the correct angles etc. The fact that he places acusations on other people just shouts "I did cheat, but they are cheating too!"

To be fair, I would expect knife kills to be more common due to the scoring system compared to even regular games. Most people would probably just shoot you instead of taking the risky extra seconds to knife.
However, that also means there's a very easy way for people to abuse this system and it shows.

Faceit and Heaven Media rushed their "investigation" in the matter. They were fast to respond to put out any tension or possible drama from the accusations and didn't take real care into looking into the history of Kephrii's skill in shooters.
Kephrii is self admitted to being a former Global Elite player before he moved to Overwatch, and as someone that is in a similar boat... You don't just lose game sense especially when you play other Competitive shooters to the top level.
Individuals went through the footage themselves to find if Faceit's and Heaven Media's findings were accurate. Most of the situations where he was knifed were around B, and he was deliberately ignoring Apartments allowing Gale to knife him. Comparing that game to a previous game on the same map from the previous day, Kephrii isnt against Gale and is playing B where he isn't being deliberate to ignore Apartments.
I 100% believe this was a planned knife reed for Gale. They're good friends, they duo Overwatch a lot and are friends outside this. And if you know of Kephrii's history in Overwatch in the slightest... You'd easily come to the same conclusion.

I wish I had stats for it, but I bet that 75% of the times I spent 200$ on a taser on an eco, I came back with an smg or the other side's main rifle. I buy that instead of any pistol for an eco everytime I'm feeling fresh. Tazing 9 times in a game is kind of weird tho, he's either smurfing or bought the game on discount (without the walls). If an average SMFC plays against and with genuine silvers, that number is totally possible, but it just doesn't happen on any gold nova 3 or + average game, only silvers fall for the same shxt more than 5 times, and you sometimes gotta change target for a few rounds to let them 'forget'.

I watched some of the clips and they have patterns consistant with their overwatch mains for example the runn across at 7:37 is very consistant with both the hiding and maneuvering strats of both widowmaker and hanzo that they play. hanzo's tend to dance from cover to cover alot and widowmaker players like to hide in corners and barely visable places like they do through so much of the match.

It's kinda insane that i know more on the story then this video cares to share.. Long story:
First correction, it was 4 knife kills on Kephrii by Gale, yes it's suspicious that it was the same player, but when you go back in the vod, you can see That Gale Said at the beginning "Guys i just learned that knife kills gives you 5 point, so imma be trying to knife people today" and so he did, He "CHOOSED" B Side, While kephrii was "Assigned" the B side, both solo attacking - Defending.
So it's only natural that the two will have likely high encounters. As for how Gale pulled it off on kephrii, 2 was a bad call out from his team mates, 1 was because he was slow - he fucked up.
The last he didn't hear cause the moment Gale dropped behind him - was the moment Kephrii spoke to his teammates thus he didn't hear it. People say how unlikely for this to happen.
But Gale Had only 4 knife kills, Tiffae had the same if not more knife kills, She got double knife kills in two seperate rounds - making it 4... Everyone was trying to knife people.
At one of the occasions one of the "knifed" even said "She didn't even make Audio"
Here comes the Ugly tho, So how come this was the result of all this ? Why was it so hostile... It all started with Gale just being a beast of a FPS gamer, If you don't know who gale is, he has 10k hours in OW, Consistent Top5 DPS hitscan player, Used to play Cs as well some years ago, very well known in the OW community, never had a accusation. But Psalm didn't think so, he accused gale of "Ghosting" - aka Looking at chat for information, but he wasn't, he even turned his chat off, kept his eyes on the Game monitor, That didn't work out so Came the Aimbot accusation > Admins went ahead and checked vod + Demo and said hes clean, Psalm didn't like that and Raged about it for 1.5 hour in a call with one of the admins. Then tweeted on his personal account saying "I can't believe this is happening.."
THEN Came the "TRADING" accusation with kephrii cause he is "buddy buddy with gale" + the knife kills gale got off on kephrii.. First of, they are friends, the others were business associates tho.. Many of the others come from the same organizations. That was the moment that started out kephrii's side of the story, Kephrii soon noticed people don't react or respond to his questions or comms, later he randomly gets a warning from a admin (because of the knife kills) that one of the players have complained, So he asked to switch sides from B to A...
He was kept being ignored, He had to keep going to the point he was assigned to secure. Turns out, Tiffae and many other have muted him or ignored him on purpose since the accusations they held against him and his buddy buddy gale didn't go down with them well, this created this "Hostile environment" Wich in turn resulted in drama, His team muted him entirely - AND ONLY THEN he muted them too. (Wich made him play better more focused ironically) The admins said both players are clean, no foul play, no hostile behavior. But still proceeded to Remove kephrii..
What nobody knows.. Is that the admins offered kephrii 5k$ to leave the game quietly :).. He refused, so they just kicked him with no money.. While gale the accused "Cheater" stayed in, wich is weird even tho He is clean it does have a weird image in your head doesn't it.. Gale the person that got 40-50kills Only ended up 2nd place, while Nick the guy that barely moved a finger won..
Because they fixed the match, He was running a scout, and comming with his team "I have tagged, you can kill" Since Assists earn more points then kills..
Psalm the NFT scammer, and Nick the Cs Lotto scammer.. In a fixed game where they have abused every possible rule and score system..
It's believed that, Tiffae and Nick were Stream sniping, or at least gaining information off of their monitors, nick would Suspiciously look, turn his entire neck to his left, and have a amazing call out out of nowhere and that repeated every turn many times.. It's not far fetched to say, that they didn't know who Gale was and what hes capable of, and invited him without knowing anything, but he started spitting into their plans so they started throwing allegations.. I was there when i watched Gales last match, and it was low key thrown by Noko and the others on purpose.
There is a lot more in between stuff. Like how nobody really knew about this event, or how it turns out Cs Players avoid the organization for these reasons..
Or how the third price gets 5k 2nd 15k and third 50k a massive jump.. And it's not team wide, a single individual gets this much...
Kephrii Argued with the admins to change the rules, the score system, do something about the knifings, the assists etc... but they said "It's just for a fun tourney so casuals can enjoy too"
Even players said "bro it's just fun" while hard sweating to share assists on the scout.. How kephrii was bribed to take money and leave, like would you pay someone that was guilty ?
Or how Psalm and Tiffae Dropped the info to Jake Lucky that "gale and kephrii are cheating" 2 hours after the admins have already cleared both of them in their private discord chat...
I'M sorry, but somethings are just not short or simple.. If you were to piece it together this shit could've been a legit documentary.
