@@TheRapSheet Paradise Circus, Everywhen, Lately are just few of them. In fact all of their discography is underrated in my opinion, they opened up new ways in music just like Daft Punk did, but they don't receive as much attention. And their relatively recent works are very cool. Dead Editors and The Spoils are very expressional
The founder of massive attack now makes movie soundtracks, like Ex-Machina, Annihilation, and several other films and top tv series. He's a fantastic studio engineer/mixer/programmer/composer.
@@TheRapSheet I am particularly haunted by the synth melody that plays in the Annihilation trailer and also towards the end of that sci-fi film. This is a hilarious reaction by Struggle Nation towards the Annihilation Trailer. ua-cam.com/video/JqN00W3Yy80/v-deo.html
It's a bit of a stretch to say that Geoff Barrow was "The Founder" of Massive Attack when all he did was collaborate on their first album. He is, however, a founding member of Portishead.
Same for me actually. Only got into them and Tricky Portishead etc about 5 yrs ago and I'm 60 now lol. Just didn't appreciate them when I was younger probably because we tended to be very pigeonholed back then and I was an adamant goth rarely straying out of my genre. Missed a lot of great music due to that so catching up now :)
That's one of the beauty's of doing these reactions is you find such a wealth of other music, styles and fanbases. It's never too late to find new musical gems. Thank you for watching Portia ✌️

The Jackal, The Matrix… the greatest time to be alive. Sara Jay provided the vocals for this track but I don’t think she was actually ever an official member of Massive Attack.
One of the most underrated gems of Massive Attack 🔥
Is there any other underrated gems?

Oh wow that's amazing. I love move soundtracks, so I might have to delve into their catalogue. Any recommendations, Bijou?

This tune was used in the first Matrix film. The tune was playing through Neo, Keanu Reeves headphones. Nice.🔥1

Rewind it a few years and you’ll hear it in the film 1997 film The Jackal with Bruce Willis and Richard Gere.

The Jackal was underrated!
Is it true that the singer of this song was a porn star?
Ha, that's someone else with the same name.
If you wish to react to something you might not have heard of, I would say Aesthetic Perfection with Gods & Gold
