Cooking Ingredients:
6 cups of water
14 ounces of pigeon peas
½ cup of lima beans (you can also use ½ cup of more pigeon peas if you don’t like Lima beans)
1 scallion
1 piece of ginger
1 tablespoon of all complete Badia seasoning
1 hot pepper
3 cloves of garlic
6 cloves
1 tablespoon of regular butter
1 teaspoon of regular salt
Thyme & parsley
Directions:
1. add the peas to the boiling water and let it boil for 45 minutes on medium high heat.
2. After the beans has been cooled down for at least 10 minutes, you will now proceed to blend the beans. (If you want a thicker consistency you can use Puree on the blender.)
3. After you have blended the beans, you will strain the beans and with the excess beans you will again blend it again and strain it a third final time
4. You will now proceed to add all of the rest of the ingredients
5. On Medium low heat , you will let it simmer for 20 minutes
and Enjoy :)

Thank you for the another great recipe and looking forward to trying this. I’ve never seen ginger added before and I’m curious as to why. Either way I’ll add it 😍
Thank you so much ☺️😁...the reason why I add the ginger is for a little bit of flavor and it gives the sauce a nice color
