gladiator is good for early game mid game and late game and it cannnot be stunned it’s also unfair for gladiator because it’s ledger and warden can stop enemies
I think that sledger actually performs better as a support tower because of its freeze and placement limit. Put them in key areas that alot of towers can cover the freeze will allow other towers to attack them for longer. I'd say its better at stunning because of the splash damage since you will rarely encounter one boss on its own. I'm not saying warden is bad, in fact I use it with the sledger in my loadout, it's just that they have different uses and thrive in different situations
@@dfornuggetthe3rd792 your very stupid there was this round in pizza party golden minigunners only and supports the one with sledgers tho carried hard and was 3 minutes faster IMAGINE THINKING SLEDGER DOES NOT CARRY IM EVENTS
I would say that sledger is good for when you are playing with about 2-3 ppl including yourself because the max limit is 20. Sledger taking those 6 slots are fine. Plus, its freeze and debuff makes it a great support unit for other towers to do more damage.
Warden’s damage is similar to executioner’s damage at max level, fire rate is kind of decent, but it’s problem is it cannot do splash unlike the gladiator and sledger. But overall it’s a decent tower
Even with no splash damage, it can be used in early game, mid game, and late game, early being for damage, mid being for damage/stuns and late game being stun bait and stun supports, and damage. Glad can reflect stuns but cannot stun himself, so he isn't a support tower, and sledger is able to do good damage but has a placement limit and can't reflect stuns. So obviously the winner is slasher
I find it funny that warden was based off of riot control armor which deals with crowd control and Gladiator deals with only 1 person which is based off Roman Gladiators (Most of the time) in combat but tds flips the roles!
Thats because in real life a sword can damage multiple people in one swing if they are in close proximity to one another, but on the other hand a baton can only hit one person at a time, it isnt like the baton can chain electricity through its opponents and hit multiple people in one blow.
In my opinion, bosses should at least receive a 1/4 or a 1/2 of the stun time compared to regular enemies. Maybe even an 8th of the stun time if the tower is op.
people seem to forget that sledger is more support, when its leveled up frozen enemies take 2x dmg from all sources. making it undeniably better than the other 2
I would say that warden isn’t just good for minor bosses but major ones as well such as the minions of the fallen king and molten boss, plus warden is similar in terms of support with sledger but has no placement limit, does more damage and has better range and can therefore be more effective, especially if you are using something like accel and only a few wardens at the entrance.
@@NoahPickle lies. Sledger only has a placement of six. Final bosses are weak to sledgers, this may also affect the warden but as you can see warden’s damage at max is compared more than sledgers. that would completely ruin the game because then low levels would be making light work of every game mode and the game would be too easy. For a tower of that strength you would have to be a dedicated and extremely good player, perhaps level 250 and above.
fun fact : if you use the commander's ability and the gladiator's ability, it can give +90% firerate to the gladiator which almost double the gladiator's firerate

Oh and also warden is a amazing tower brings back the fallen memories but if only if would hit up to 2-4 enemies (I think that'll be to overpowered ._.)
The fact that Rocketeer, mortar and freezer have been reworked. To be really good leads, the question. Would it be the same for the commando and the slasher 0:14
crazy to see below actually making the once trash towers good like mortar but when I say good I mean for one type of thing they are just towers for a specific thing
Btw, gladiator lost cuz he is normally used in all of the first waves It’s good on wave 1 to 25 While the sledger is a mid game Basically 25 to 30, it stuns enemies so it’s good for slow bosses The warden won cuz he can stun, he does 80 damage, he swings his melee quite fast , he stuns and he can’t get stunned.
Once you get to late mid game and late game wardens crowd control is fine due to its fast hit rate, stun ability and its wide range, which balances the crowd control out. Although i will always say glad is best for crowd control, it gets to a point where it isnt really a weakness for warden, just not an advantage like it is for gladiator.
True, I use sledger alot but don't rely on the splash for hiddens because it requires a non hidden enemy to be next to it. You can increase your chances by placing them so that they hit overlapping areas set one targeting to last and some to closest etc. But even then I wouldn't count on it to deal with hiddens, your other towers will do that. Sledger works great as a support tower rather than a dps tower
warden unlocks hidden detection at level one, where it is already doing 8 damage per hit. Imma say it once, warden is better overall given it has more qualities than both gladiator and sledger

John this is biggest question on you? the TDX Can also play at Mobile or only pc
i like the noob vs pro in roblox thank you john
Slasher: *leaves out of the room crying with legs*
"CLICK ON CLICKY STUPID!!" had me 💀
Added con for warden
For order to buy and use you need to beat Pizza Party map (insane) and have 4,000 coins
Lol, the thing when John laughs, this sounds legendary!
John i have an idea for tdx when a tower has an ability and u placed like 30 of them u have a button that acctivates all theyre ability
i think john just discovered a new fallen strat.
loadout: dj, commander, farm, warden, accel
with that loadout, if you do it right, you could beat fallen
Warden be like: I'm stronger. I'm smarter.
I'm better. I am better.
He is better for early game because if you want to make them splash set them to first and last targeting it will look splash
I have an idea, try making a deck with infinite stun, accels and commander
Am glad ur militan skin is back as a code 😊
Gladiator is usually used for early game. Hes pretty much a golden scout but better.
I like how all the melee towers slowly evolve. The glad has lower damage but amazing crowd control. And a few can easily carry you until some of the higher health enemies come in. Warden had no crowd control yet amazing damage. And sledger is a little bit of both. Has alright crowd control and good damage
7:15 i honestly hate when that happens because bosses have such a FATASS hit box that it covers the tower itself and ur unable to use the ability
I still am processing the fact a 23 year old man took the time to make a roblox thumnbail like that...
Summary: Gladiator is good for crowds of weak enemies. Warden is good for bosses. Sledger is jack of all trades master of none.
"HAAHA TaLk AbOUT POlIce BrUtAlIty" got me so hard😂😂😂😂😂 btw its 4:00
Jonh can you do a full melee loadout and defeat fallen?
Below natural on his way to nerf slasher even more by completely deleting it from the game:
Wait until he sees the picture for Pizza Party map
John for the Warden its not an event Tower this "event" Will remain in the game forever (at least i think so) so yea
Ok lets add a category to the list of types of towers:
Area denial
Advantage denial
And MOVEMENT DENIAL.
The towers in MOVEMENT denial are:
Warden.
Sledger.
Freezer.
together these towers can stop any enemy besides final boss (or mini bosses)
the thing is those melee towers who can freeze or stun an enemy = big W no matters about the dps
did you know that if the warden gets stunned twice in a very short period it will actually be stunned in other words, warden has a cooldown for its shield.
0:23 damn the submarine imploded , welp I guess we’re never finding out what’s down there
