If you dont mount it so high up in the air, it will be much easier to get in. I mount the ropes on the threes about the height of my shoulder . And when you go in, do it from the side. Grab the straps inside and slide in

My buddy has an Amok and he used to get in like how you are showing, but last year he saw a video on how to roll into it from the side and that's what he does now. He says it's a lot easier and it's easier to get his sleeping bag situated that way. (I use a gathered end hammock and quilts)
That looked like a great trip. I had just finished watching Tosh’s video when yours popped up. It’s always interesting to see the two viewpoints of the same trip. It’s very cool. I’m looking forward to more collaboration videos 🤞🏻 I’m glad Chef Brittany was part of the trip. That food looked amazing as usual. I’d love to have a hammock. Especially an Amok but I’m chained to my CPAP and I’m not sure how that would work. Tenting is easy with my Jackery next to the machine. From this point forward, ice fishing will be referred to as “Ice Xandering” 🤣
