Dude, I couldn't disagree with you more! I have lived in Jacksonville since 1997. I haven't ever had a problem. I feel like you are coming down to hard. You are totally stereotypical of people in bad situations. I lived in south Florida all my life prior to 1997. I would drive in Jacksonville ANYTIME over Lauderhill, Oakland Park, Miami, even Sunrise and Plantation is rough at certain times of the day. This is my first and last time watching you.
Tampa was the worst place I've been to in Florida at night...it was awake all night and crime but to compare Jacksonville to that would be a joke. It's not the best but it's definitely not scary.
Why would he make fun of people in bad situations? He left Cuba when he was 6 because the government had a hitman out for him. Then he moved to Louisvilles west end, and dealt with gang violence and fights in school. Then they went to Naples and moved to a trailer park, and was bullied in school for living in a trailer park. After that he moved to Alabama and experienced stupid amounts of racism, when he told the police they said he wasn’t from there so they can’t help him.
@@Danny-vk3xb I agree with you. I've lived in Clearwater and Tarpon Springs. I have been to Tampa many times, and partied in Ybor City many times, actually too many to count. And have see a lot of crime there.

I live in Jacksonville, Florida and I get what you're saying. Jacksonville can get bad no matter where you go but like you said everywhere has its bad areas. It is eerie at night because no one is outside unless you go somewhere like 5 points but everyone is drunk and going to the bars in the area.
Jacksonville is huge. It's 800 square miles with 7 or 8 counties within the city. There's plenty of gated communities that you can't get into without knowing a homeowner or being invited. There's plenty of wealthy areas such as St. John. I've been living on the Westside for 7 months with no issues. Oakleaf/Orange Park area...no issues. I've heard the Northside/Moncrief area is really bad, I've never seen it...Jax is just too big!!!
Born and raised in Jax. Do yourself a favor and NEVER go to moncrief or that surrounding area. Besides that you’re good 😂 north side is coming up but it’s more “country”
We used to walk everywhere at night years ago in Jacksonville Florida not a soul bothered you.. The beach most of all. I would not give a second chance at night anymore scary to answer the door carefully.in Jacksonville Florida ..
Downtown was safer way back when.. nights were pleasant not anymore. Sometimes don't answer your phone late at night.. more homes here are getting door bell. Get your packages ASAP.. Apts have security cameras shame this has happened. Jacksonville was pleasant and safe ..
No body out in Memphis at night? I came from Airport once in Memphis, got lost, pulled over a gas station late at light. The station has locked doors, and bullet proof glass. The person behind the glass when I ask them question look a little concerned for me. I looked to my left and a gang was running my way. I got in car and hightailed it.
As the saying goes, the further north one goes in Florida, the further south one goes. Jacksonville is certainly more indicative of cities of cities in the deep south (low density, similar culture, the streets "roll up" by 7 PM). Jacksonville has little in common with the other large Florida cities/metro areas, most certainly!
Live outside of Jacksonville but if you hang in the hood chances are high something can happen, there are many decent areas but as you said the core city is the pits. Honestly my husband I use to drive all around Jacksonville all hours and for the last 12 yrs and hardly see people out at night nothing new Sorry, nothing to do in Jacksonville at night.
Lol. Jacksonville is not bad. There’s no cars out at night. This guy driving around on a weekday talking about nobody out at night. I live downtown, I’m the only white guy in a predominately black neighborhood. No problems.
Why do you keep mentioning that you have a nicer car? And to say that people feel bad for others who drive a 96 Cavalier isn't nice. I also thought it was off putting in the last video I watched when you were dissing Alabamians for being on food stamps. We are in the middle of a pandemic so you saying stuff like that is tone deaf.
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS I didn't say that. If you wanna call them kissing cousins and all that I will laugh with you. But I do not think that poverty is funny. Poverty has plagued all of the United States and it's sad. Not everyone who's on foodstamps is lazy. They can be on foodstamps because even though they have a job, they still struggle to make ends meet. They can be on foodstamps because of disabilities. Maybe they lost their job due to Covid.
This is so misconstrued. This can happen anywhere. It depends on who you're involved with. JSO has been doing an excellent job in the past few years of tightening up on the mishaps. It's easy to say these things about a city you don't live in. It's people who do the things you're doing that get trapped. 🤨 Just saying.
It wouldn't be that scary, if you try to stop on those stop signs 😂😂,, otherwise, Jacksonville is my town, and its not that bad, im not going out at night, but anybody that comes to my house after 9pm, a different caliber will wait for them

I avoid those three at all costs. Too crazy for this old man and I live in Chicago not exactly Paradise. Good luck man and watch your ass, okay?
It’s really not that bad here in Jacksonville. I’ve been here 25 years now. Now when there was that war thing here a few months back with Foolio and Yungeen Ace was popping. It may have been a little bit more dangerous, but even still then it wasn’t bad. I understand if you ain’t from around here but if you ain’t from around here, maybe you shouldn’t be here. I mean going into these bad areas in these cities probably ain’t safe to begin with since you ain’t from here. Keep your behind out of them parts in any city. Ya crazy. Plus, in downtown Jacksonville • the police department is literally right around the corner from where you’re at in the video. With that being said, do NOT go to the deep Northside, Melvin Gardens, Hilltop Village {this is where foolio is from}, Moncrief, Eureka Gardens, and there’s a few other places but steer clear if you ain’t from there do not go there. Seriously. Unless you got actual permission from a resident there • stay away my friend.

Real talk, I got love for Jacksonville but it can get Dangerous AF. You know you are in a very dangerous area when McDonalds close at 10pm. About two weeks ago, a young lady got shot up at a Raceway Gas Station on Lem Turner at 2am in the morning. Sad shit man, she was caught in a crossfire. This lady had young kids. Over in Arlington, a young lady was attacked at a Gas station by a crazy white man in broad day light. Look it up. It aint safe to be outside late at night. Jacksonville has a different vibe than the rest of FL. Jacksonville does remind you of Birmingham. In Birmingham, ppl just dont be out there at night because its not safe. Next time you in Jacksonville ride down Baymeadows on go down Dix Ellis Trail. Lots of hotels on that strip with high crime. Baymeadows used to be a nice area, but drugs and homeless ppl brought it down. One part of Baymeadows is okay. Ride baymeadows from one end to another. Baymeadows is on the southside.
It's not that bad if you're not homeless and if you are homeless you better get with other homeless people because when you're homeless it seems like the working class will try to hurt you it's never homeless people that want to hurt you
I mean i hate it if somethin bad happened too u, im from cincinnati and moved down to jax in 07...yeah it has gotten more dangerous over the last 10 years, but thats more of a isolated group of ppl. Mainly these young rappers that are in gangs amd havin their wars back And forth...but, every city is dangerous...its really all about right/wrong place wrong time...but when u think about the amount of crime in jax as a whole..u have to remember one big thing....jax is the largest city by square mile in the entire country..so, when ur the largest city, that means u have more ppl, And more Chances of things happening..when u break down the numbers and stats, the amount of crime compared to the amount of Ppl That live here...its really not as bad as it seems
Jacksonville definitely has some scary parts for sure. I had to do some canvassing there and made sure to time the worst areas so that I’d be done before 3-4. The parts of Jacksonville that aren’t dangerous in terms of violent crime are dangerous in terms of traffic though. People drive really badly, much like FL as a whole.
Lmfao I'm from rural small town USA and a buddy and I went to visit some friends in Jacksonville. They took us to this dive that they said was "the most dangerous bar in Jacksonville" because we like a little excitement, that's how we roll. Anyways as we were walking in some black guy was trying to sell us blow right inside the door which I thought was very convenient. I remember my buddy and I were like THIS is the most dangerous bar in Jacksonville? There was more drama at the little bars back home lol my buddy even passed out at the bar and the bartender let him sleep there, no one tried to rob him or pull some shady shit. There were no fights, no cops. Stop being a drama queen.

I was born and raised in Jacksonville around 13th and Mocrief I moved from there in 2018
I lived here 41 years now but it's places I won't walk around at night. Honestly it is dangerous.
I am 65 yrs. old and have lived here all my life and I can tell you JAX is a hell hole. I have to get out of this place.
try alabama, plenty of inbreeding there..
You must have a Angel watching over you or really lucky.
Ok I see no crime and nobody out come to Atlanta and see the crime at night where planning to move to Jacksonville and I really dont see a problem like other cities!!
out of the tourist area, St. Augustine creeps me out
Jacksonville isn't scary it's a lot of homeless people lives downtown. And. Lot of entertainment downtown.maybe some area is wild if they are having a party.
big difference between west and north jaksonville and south and east jaksonville lol if u from here u KNOW LOL
You think your city is rough, come to mine dear old Chicago. Now WE'RE rough!
F*** that go to Afghanistan the Helmand province...all rough areas in the USA will never compare to Afghanistan...them Taliban and ISIS would laugh at all the rough areas in USA...
lol stop it u juss broke
I've lived in Orlando my whole life and I wouldn't touch Jacksonville with a ten-foot pole 😆
Nothing good happens at night no matter the city
I always gave my kids midnight curfew because nothing good happens after midnight
Bro if it’s night and there’s no cameras or people coming both sides ima treat it like a stop sign
You are in the wrong part of jax, I live in riverside/ avondale..voted one of the best neighborhoods in usa..but yeah you are in the ghetto..
I either live in good areas, dont venture into bad areas or due to that I drive a super inconspicuous car I cant ever remember one time I've felt threatened while driving, maybe some mild road rage with me mostly being the one doing the road raging against others.Given that you drive around hoods constantly I assume you're going to have more issues.
I live in Jacksonville, Florida and I get what you're saying. Jacksonville can get bad no matter where you go but like you said everywhere has its bad areas. It is eerie at night because no one is outside unless you go somewhere like 5 points but everyone is drunk and going to the bars in the area.
I don't know what but I just love Tampa FL
You said it was after 1am and Jacksonville is kind of a sleepy town.
I’ve lived here 60 yrs and you go places at night I wouldn’t drive in the day. Be safe out there
Come to Jersey city , NJ MLK drive 4 th of July every night sadly.
Man rell us what streets you're on.I used to live there.Go to the Shell at Beaver st. near Ocean you'll see some people,24/7
Jacksonville is huge.
Besides that you’re good 😂 north side is coming up but it’s more “country”
oakleaf isn’t the west side and orange park is clay county not duval
Go to orange blossom trail in Orlando fl at night it’s no different from jax hood’s at night not scary to me
Orlando hoods much safer at night we have done videos there never felt scared
Jacksonville is the highest murder rate in florida
Always has been.
I think miami had em beat in the 80's.
I'm Westside and You got to be careful all over regardless.
Don't be walking at night that's for sure.
Well when you're on literally the worst side of town?
Anywhere in Florida at night scares me lol. Not sure why. Just creepy
You're in the hood now Moncief.
Yup
Yes you got to be careful driving out there and what kind of car you drive
Those kind of cars aren't really that masculine, the're just kind of stupid.
Jacksonville, the city that always sleeps
I never had any problems in jax try Kingsland GA I was ROBBED
This looks like my hometown at night….i don’t see why it’s scary. People are probably in bed because they have a job to be at the next morning.
Southern life, Bub City does the same thing on his channel and runs into sketchy stuff alot. You guys should do a video together
I grew up in Jax. 1950 to 69, then I lived there again after the Army from 72 to 89...a total of 36 yrs.
You're paranoid....
It ain’t bad it just got bad vibes at night
Am I lying? Because last time i checked Alabama is a welfare state. Were not gonna cater to your sensibilities here.
So you not mad at them for trying to kill me in Alabama you mad at me for telling their lazy people to work? 🤔
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS Maybe a tornado blew their job away. 🤣
Born and raised in Jax. Can’t relate
Myrtle Street is scary, morning, noon and night.
It wouldn't be that scary, if you try to stop on those stop signs 😂😂,, otherwise, Jacksonville is my town, and its not that bad, im not going out at night, but anybody that comes to my house after 9pm, a different caliber will wait for them
Mind your own business thing is not alway's true! I mind my own business and alot of time's that draws un wanted attention same with my son we're both the same very quiet and keep to ourselves alway's attract trouble makers and I'm from Detroit michigan.
Keep posting
Every city got bad areas lived Jax my whole life never had shit happen to me they do close Walmart at 12 and McDonald's at 10 lol nw Jax not the best also those lights you be at just go through them you wait to long ppl watch for tht you will get car jacked in any city too stay safe out there
Funny how you try to paint a narrative of a city by driving around at night and you don’t see nobody. Not taking into account maybe people got work in the morning. Just saying
I prefer Jacksonville than Belo Horizonte Brazil ( where i am from) LOL Brazil is much worse
My dad and his wife used to live in Belo - MG. She was a Brazilian and he was American. His wife used to tell me how crime was such a huge problem in Brazil. Belo was one of the safer places in Brazil and it appeared that it was a very nice city.
Jacksonville is scary..you driving around looking like the Mexican cartel
i dont even like to say that word.. i dont mention crime groups by name here
During my long life of 76+ years I've traveled to so many places I lost count. But there are three places I avoid like the virus; Memphis, TN, Bangkok, Thailand and all of Florida. I avoid those three at all costs. Too crazy for this old man and I live in Chicago not exactly Paradise. Good luck man and watch your ass, okay?
SCARY FOR U HOME FOR ME IM GOOD! 😂
Idk u seemed more terrified in Oakland ca 😂
Jacksonville ain't got nothing on west Baltimore or Se/NE Washington DC. Nothing. I live in Jax and was a cop in DC and MD.
With that being said, do NOT go to
the deep Northside, Melvin Gardens, Hilltop Village {this is where foolio is from}, Moncrief, Eureka Gardens, and there’s a few other places but steer clear if you ain’t from there do not go there. Seriously. Unless you got actual permission from a resident there • stay away my friend.
Exactly what are you driving, man? A spaceship?
Bro a damn gmc Sierra lmao man acting like he in some high end $100K+ vehicle and if so it’s people in those areas I know personally that OWNS $100k+ vehicles, nobody is worried about taking that damn Sierra bruh lmao
Matter of fact that's my hood
Will do 💯🌴
Mcdonalds closes at 10 pm in every town now across the country since covid what you going on about lol
ive lived in baymeadows for a year, dix ellis trl is disgusting
@@joeshmoe2746 not in my city, there are a few that still do 24hrs service here.
I lived in Bay Meadows in 87. It was a nice safe place to live back then. Sad to hear it's gone downhill.
Mainly these young rappers that are in gangs amd havin their wars back
And forth...but, every city is dangerous...its really all about right/wrong place wrong time...but when u think about the amount of crime in jax as a whole..u have to remember one big thing....jax is the largest city by square mile in the entire country..so, when ur the largest city, that means u have more ppl,
And more
Chances of things happening..when u break down the numbers and stats, the amount of crime compared to the amount of
Ppl
That live here...its really not as bad as it seems
Jacksonville definitely has some scary parts for sure. I had to do some canvassing there and made sure to time the worst areas so that I’d be done before 3-4.
The parts of Jacksonville that aren’t dangerous in terms of violent crime are dangerous in terms of traffic though. People drive really badly, much like FL as a whole.
Yes, but it is better than Philadelphia that there are people with drugs
You're in the hoods , buddy
He scared 96 cavalier lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dude if nobody’s out at night how is it bad? Make that make sense. 🤷♂️
8th Myrtle ave. Phoenix outeast is hood
