The thing I find so beneficial about Mel's podcasts/talks is the fact that she not only identifies the problem, she also gets into the solution. Many of the things I have listened to seems to remain in the problem without ever getting to any solutions.

Truly appreciate how you guide the conversation to get questions answered and drill into those deep bits. You give not only the solution, but the realistic steps to get there. Thank you Mel.

I re-defined what success means to me and feel much better now. I don't buy into what society thinks success is. I feel happier since taking 4 years to work on my own self-love. I was already single and decided to stay that way so I would have less distractions. I dug deep into who I am and set systems in place daily to work on being a better version of myself. I added a lot of exercise and that also made me happier. Being proud of our accomplishments is also very important no matter how small they are and just not care what other people think. I own a flip phone with no internet...again...no need to be distracted. I don't have social media either, I have UA-cam and that's enough. I don't wait on any specific thing to happen to determine if I am happy today. I couldn't care a less if I am in a couple, self-love means you just don't get lonely anymore.

Wonderful discussion! For me it’s having deep rooted gratitude and love for life and ourselves. I have read stories from those in concentration camps who took things like bedbugs and lice and made the situation in to a blessing in the end. We become what we feed ourselves. You look for either bad or good and you will find it. And anything we value, we must invest our time and energy into and it will grow. Sometimes we may not see these times as great stepping stones and life lessons and appreciate those dark times. Sorry this is so long 😅 I really enjoy this channel Mel. So much needed imo. Keep up the great work. 👍🏻🙏🏻❤️💪🏼👏🏻

Concentration camps should not have happened. Their stories are horrible, I have been to Poland and I read alot about the Holocaust. And I hate racism very much . I went throuh racism and discrimination myself I'm a Christian Arab and in some Swedish neighbors, you will feel it here, the virus is disgusting hate, prejudice, hatred of others.

Hitlers children are still there is some European countries, Jesus were a Jew, he comes from middle east, we are all Gods children. I don't understand why some people think they can do injustices to others and not get away with it, the Holocaust should not have happened. Period ..--

No justification for cruelty and injustices ever. And we are all Gods children but believe me some people are Hitlers children. HItlers agenda and satan on earth.

I always loved the Jews because I understood their suffering and that feeling of crushing their spirit I know, Jesus suffered like them too on the cross even more, and the Romans discriminated against Jesus because he were not a Roman rather a mideastern Jew.

Where do you find people to help you like this though? Every time I reach out to someone I'd like to be a help to and I'd like to have be a help to me they just don't respond to me messages anymore.

I learned this lesson of possessions at 17. I was married at 17, had a baby at 17 and was very unhappy at 17. My husband and I were both from poor families. He put money first as his god. He was a hard worker and provided an exceptional life at such a young age.
However, I was never happy with him.
Every month he would say: well this month, when we buy a new stereo we'll be happy. Not so.
Well, when we buy house, not so.
I think happiness is a combination of mutual goals which we never had.
There is happiness in different aspects of life.
We divorced because I was never happy.

This is the second time I've listened to him, and he refers to himself as a 26 year old boy....odd.
