Tears man! Absolute tears here. Music that does this is more than just music when you become one with it. I want this at my funeral, totaly, fell in love with the maggot brain solo since HOUSE MD no matter who plays it!
It is a proven scientific fact that you can not play maggot brain on your guitar without making faces. Best cover out there....he throws out technical at 2.49 and maggot brain takes over with pure emotion
It’s actually a discontinued Warmoth body with a Fender neck. All the electronics he has installed himself and those have probably changed a couple times since this was filmed.
I don't know, but this seems to me to be a version that seems to always be starting into the song without ever getting to the song. There's a key phrase in Maggot Brain, that this guy never plays, and based on that I just feel frustrated. He's obviously a great player, who was looking to do his own version, but not to ever play the most noticeable phrase in this great song?.........
Couldn’t agree more. Noodling around at the twelfth fret, however soulfully done, is not a cover of Maggot Brain. Great solo but without at least a handful of key phrases (particularly the heavy bends at the very beginning) it just isn’t Maggot Brain.
Eddie Hazel would be proud! Fire!

This guy is incredible why hasn't any band snatched him up ???
Well he’s in a band called Big Something. Hence the title...
Anyone know Jesse Hensley's guitar rig? Sounds fantastic. I can't quite see what Fender head that is. Any thoughts?
Bandmaster?
Yeah it’s an old bandmaster. He doesn’t play through that cab anymore though.
Fuckin' AMAZING.
Can anyone tell me what model of Fender guitar he's playing?
It’s actually a discontinued Warmoth body with a Fender neck. All the electronics he has installed himself and those have probably changed a couple times since this was filmed.
@@RobRoane Thanks for the reply. I was totally stumped.
@@TrinidadJamesWoods and really that’s probably not the fender neck he’s using now. It’s really a Frankenstein’s monster of a guitar.
Muy limpio
You did justice to the original.
Freaking GOD mode
Big guitar!
I still think blackbirdy's play is the best but i must admit that this bro here killed it too.. Perfect.. 3.45 - 4.40 goosebumps

agreed,... had to cut it short ☹
Improv over the pentatonic scale does not make it Maggot Brain.
Yea, but nobody can play it like Eddie. RIP 😿
