  • Hello friends!
This week we are exploring Amritsar, India. Most famously known for the GOLDEN TEMPLE! WOW such a sight to see!
At the ending of this video I shared some personal experiences I had while visiting this city as a warning of safety precautions to solo travelers planning to head here. This was a very crowded city with SO many people so just have a buddy and don't be afraid to tell someone to backoff.
As promised here is the info for Madpackers Amritsar. A wonderful hostel that offers many great tours and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly!!

    Thanks for watching!

Hey Cece. Loved all your videos, they have so much positive energy!
Sorry to hear about your experience with Selfie buffoons. You have right to say No!
These folks don't represent India they are just uneducated street thugs who don't have a meaningful life. These selfies give them nano seconds of false fame.
Don't let this experience dampen your spirits, India is so vast and diverse. Come down to South and experience a different India and I am sure it will change your perspective of a Solo woman travel. Lots of Love from Bangalore, Karnataka.

Hey! thanks for watching!! And it definitely didn't dampen my spirits too much. The amazing people I met in India outweigh the not so nice ones. I can't wait to visit the south someday!

    How much did it cost?
What about foreigners restriction? IN INDIA

The golden temple is completely free! The Wagah border tour was through my hostel and about 500-800 rupes... I can't remember the exact price. There were no foreigner restrictions for either activity. The only thing at the border was there is a special foreigner line and they have all the foreigners in one section so you need your passport.

I am so sorry for what happened to you in Amritsar. Please do visit our country again. Visit Ladakh, Kashmir, North-East, and the main south Indian states. U will have a good experience. Many busy cities in north-India are very hectic for many, even Indians. People from everywhere crowd around the streets and tourist places in big cities. Most people are non-natives. Many are dangerous. Avoid such people and have a guided tour if possible. Stay in best hotels, boost your channel, so that u can have a larger audience. People will get connected. They will help and support you. Trust me India can cure your soul. The people around must be good. This is still not a very individualistic society and people here value friendships and relationships than money and mere showoffs. Some dharm is still present in this culture. Hope you visit our country some time sooner in future. God Bless !

It’s all good! Everything is a learning experience. It definitely made me more confident in these situations and I feel like it’s something to be aware of.

Visit the Eastern and Southern parts of India. Way more civilized, intellectual and cultured.
