I must've watched the original Digitakt Mega Tutorial a hundred times, and I was really hoping you would do one for the Digitakt 2, so seeing this makes me happy. You're number 1, Cuckoo.
6 years ago I got my first machine ever, a digitakt. i remember watching your video and learning it during the summer each day before going to work, sitting in my bed i was waking up with the sun at 4h30 and going to work at 6. I’ve watched it several times and went back to different timings to find stuff and understand the machine, the best video on the digitakt ever. the digitakt helped me survive this summer job and made me an Elektron fangirl Lots of nostalgia watching this new one ! Thanks Cuckoo 🙏 I’m already 10mins in I know it’s the best video out there for the Digitakt 2 I was about to buy the Octa… i’ll take some time to think I guess I had to sell the 1 when i needed cash, i regret selling it every day 🥲 But kits on a takt ???? I can’t wait for the next Syntakt update, this is exactly what i want 😁
Cuckoo, you are such a good teacher. I got very excited when you pushed the Digitakt out of the shot because I knew where it was going. This is so incredibly helpful for someone like me who's quite new to this. You KO II video was too - I've watched that dozens of times and it's helped a lot. I love these instructional videos! You should consider doing a 101 synth breakdown or something - I think that would do really well. Can't wait to finish this! :)
Being a teacher of French as foreign language and a musician, I can only emphasise on your natural pedagogical skills as well as your sensitivity as a an artist. Thank you Cuckoo for this video (and all of the previous ones) that made me grab the DTII without any fear of its apparent complexity. All the best 💫
Hey Cuckoo So I got the Digitakt today what a great piece of kit ! I started with a Alesis MMT8 which I still have (still works 34 years later) This machine is next level. Thanks so much for making the content of the video I am climbing the learning curve. Cheers man 👍🏼✌🏼
Thanks a lot for this tutorial, so clear and so well done. I just received my Digitakt 2 today (it’s my first Elektron’s machine). You’re a part of my choice, because of your capacity to share your skill on this machine, and in a so comprehensive way, that it made me confident to master it, step by step, and tip by tip. I’m so grateful to you, because of these slow and calm explanations, and not too fast like in so many others videos I’ve watched about it. Cheers from France ❤
Your patient instruction is so helpful to me as a new Digitakt 2 owner. My experience in digital music production is so limited and currently more a ground-floor but quickly growing hobby. With so much foundation and lexicon to learn, I've only just scratched the surface. I see many musicians at YT that create beginner-friendly tutorials for the learning of various machines. If you were to do something similar for Digitakt 2, I would be quick to purchase.
I have just been digging through the first 12 minutes of the video so far, but I have seen two other videos that you did. You have such a sympathetic way of explaining this device that it is a pleasure to watch you. No over the top voicing like most of the youtubers habe. Just to the ground, I really love that. Thank you very much for this excellent work. I just received my Digitakt II today, I got MIDI control working and I am looking forward to watching the rest of the video and try everything out. Cheers!
Man this got to be the best Digitakt tutorial on YT. I am a total newbie but 30 mins on to the video I was already making beats that sounded cool. Your dedication and patience to put together these videos is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I just got mine, over the last 3 days I watched and digested this video, now I am going to watch it all over again, but trying to do the things in my unit!
This is the best video to learn Digitakt II 🎉 even if you are not a English speaker I am able to understand each process of this tutorial. 😊 Thanks for sharing, I am planning to buy a Digitakt II but I was insecure how to start from scratch but this video clarified all my doubts with Digitakt. Keep up the good work 👍
