Frderic A. should climb under the table next time when facing an adversary as strong as Mochi, also should learn to keep his unsportsmanlike disgust to himself before competing any where else.
You could at least explain it to him.. he moves the checker on the 6-position two steps to the 4-position. He now has a 5 left to play, and since he has no checkers on the 5 or 6-positions: it's ok to take from the 4-position.
Dice went sour on FA, then a bad take, he should have eaten the two. From a possible gammon to a 4 point loss.Once Mochi got his foot in the door, he didn't miss. 38;46>Real skill by Mochi. LOL.35-1 shot.Pace of play was like pulling teeth.
He didn't hit you when he had chances at 2 away 13 away... I dont think he played that well mostly because to lose so badly can mess with your head... on the other hand you are playing against mochy...
@TheMerovingian You are right he is I have actually played against him. The match is recorded and on UA-cam. He beat me, not because he is number 1 in the world though that obviously does help, he beat me because on the day because that's the nature of the game. There is an element of luck involved due to the dice The comment you are referring to was made from a position of extreme inexperience I wouldn't phrase things the same way now as I did then, but as for the speed of play, I am a very fast player and if I thought he played slow I think that's a fair comment
That was brutal.

What time in the video are you referring to?
There was a mistake at 33:25 sec. / he have 2 and 5 and took ne Chip from Position 6 ?! Sorry for my bad english...
Anonym 18 Thats not a mistake. You don’t know rules seems so. He can bear off like that.

Every day, every hour, backgammon games and tournament at GameColony com!
Didn't understood the 4/2 at mn 27:33. What was Mochy's goal. Cause I don't believe that he didn't saw the right move...
What happened in the first game ??? Andrieu has a 4 cube a Mochi Backgammons him. Mochi only marks 4 games??? What happened???
I had same question
I gotsta know???
Mochy didn't backgammons him. Fredric did bear off already.
Fred had already 5 checkers Out
1:01:09 Mochi had 4:3, but he played 3:2. That was crazy illegal move.
Nice board....
In 22,13 wrong move
MOCHY WHAT IS YOUR SECOND NAME SIR MY SECOND NAME IS COMEBACK WOWWWWWWW
why didn't mochi score 8 for the first game ???
Why 8? It wasn't gammon or back gammon. Fredric did bear off already.
If I can't read the dice, then it pretty much takes the enjoyment out of watching/learning.
Agree
Yeah, but you can tell what numbers they got by the moves they make also. Would be nice if we could see the numbers clearly, though.

Yeah, after losing the first game I think he was mentally hit......
Do these professional boards only have one set of dice?
In professional play, only one set is used, so that no one can claim dice bias.
Fredric got bad rolls but he also made too many mistakes
to slow
Fredric ,,you do not know how to play
Masayuki is so slow man, obvious moves
I would beat him so bad
Frederic was unlucky in crucial moment
ok
He's ranked number 1 in the world you're talking about you fool
