My fiance wants me to have pansy flowers in my garden so I'm gonna plant them too in the fall. And if I'm with him I'll have a few pots full of them and enjoy the colors💐
Another great video, I planted some seeds a couple of years ago and now they seem to selfset in cracks in the walls ,paving infact anywhere they can take root 😀
Simply gorgeous flowers. I grew Black King pansy from Baker Creek last year, spectacular black flower with a rich velvety texture. This year I am growing bunny ears and trumpet pansy. Started a bit late so they are yet to bloom but hopefully later this month. Thanks for a wonderful video. Sad our Spring is so short...so many lovely flowers and veggies that die off when the weather warms up. So rapidly succession planting radish, peas, cilantro and fenugreek etc to maximize the harvest.
@@EasyPeasyGardening that’s an understatement. My husband bought me over $70 in pansies. Next Spring I’m going to order seeds early and give that a try. Ty again
Thanks for another great tutorial video, always good to watch. Save some seeds from bought pansies last year, sown them about 2 weeks ago in coconut fibre, just come up and are doing well so hope to succeed with them and create some long lasting colour for my garden. Always learn something from you, thank you....
Hi..always watch your seed-sowing tutorials..they're so helpful & informative 👍. I'm planning on sowing some pansies next month here in the UK, & like you I'll be going away for a few weeks. My question is, how did you manage to water the seedlings? That's hoping they turn out as well as yours did😂. Any tips regarding watering will be welcome. Thank you😊
Very nice video. Any -plant that survives me in spite of me is a very strong plant. Pansies is one of them. I try to kill every flower with too much love and no matter what I do whether it’s love or neglect they take the beating and keep on ticking even when they look dead. It’s almost Oct in zone 7a, is it too late to plant Pansy seeds?
Hello. I live in southeast Texas. We usually plant pansy transplants outside in late October and they will bloom all winter and die off by June when it starts getting hot again. Id love to grow some pansies from seed but don't know how to do it here as we have hot summers here. Pansies need cooler temps to establish and bloom well. Can you please tell me when to plant the seeds here in Texas zone 9a? How can I care for them before planting them outside for winter blooming? Id love to know more about this.
When you say you took them inside at first when planting the seeds, where did you keep them? I don't have a greenhouse or anything like that. Did you have them under lights as well? Thanks!
@@EasyPeasyGardening thank you! I will be growing them indoors, under lights. Do you think I should start them 3 months before I intend to have them outside?
Thank you for sharing your pansies they are so beautiful I have just planted my pansies in trays do I have to keep them in the dark meaning under a cardboard box or do I put them outside in the light ?

Great video because you showed progression of the plants. 🌸
Thanks! 😊
So nice, very informative vlog.
Thanks a lot

Me too
I grew them, too! They are stunning! I am saving all the seeds now.
@@MrsPlantinTexas so happy to hear back. Yes you must save seeds and in turn save money.
Lots of good information here..thanks! I’ll definitely try this..
Awesome
Thank you! I didn’t know it was so easy to grow pansies from seed. 🌸💕
Oh yes, and it Aves so much money

Awesome, I love these frost hardy flowers
How did you pick the seeds? I'd like to do the same, any recommendations?
Beautiful plant
Absolutely
Thanks for the video with updates. My pansies are at seedling stage and wanted to see some video like this. 👍
Awesome
Since I started the seeds in fall, my pansies are at full bloom right now. Even the container I showed in this video is bulging with flowers now

For garden beds I have drip irrigation set up. It was raining when I went so I didn't need to worry about water

I also want to say thank you for sharing with us on growing pansies.
I am planting them right now in zone 9

I grew it in zone 9 b so you can pretty much follow the video

I just kept them in a room so that they stay warm. When the seeds germinated, I moved them near a window so that they get some direct sunlight
I didn't keep them under grow light or in a greenhouse
Beautiful pansy's! I'm in zone 6b and am going to try pansy seeds this year. How many weeks is it from planting to bloom time?
It depends on the weather. Anywhere from 2 to 3 months
@@EasyPeasyGardening thank you! I will be growing them indoors, under lights. Do you think I should start them 3 months before I intend to have them outside?
@@MsMominator about 6 weeks before planting outside

how often do I water pansies in the fall?
You have to watch the plants and the soil. Poke your finger in the soil and if it feels dry, water it
@@EasyPeasyGardening Thanks
@@gmoneyboys1 you are welcome
Pansy seeds ko april month me bij skye hain???
It depends on your climate. I am in zone 9 and it's growing and blooming right now
