When Jane was telling us Shepherd’s Bush designer used to design for Vanessa Ann, it was like a light bulb went off! I stitched back in the 70’s, etc. and I could not figure out why Shepherd’s Bush seemed so familiar! I stitched Vanessa Ann!! Your stitching is amazing, ladies! And those finishes, Julie, 😘!!!! I'm pretty sure that if you look very closely...you'll see a sheep in the yellow boat!! 😄 Everyone should be so lucky to have the sense of humor that God blessed both of you gals with!! By the way Julie....that darn salt will get you every time if you're not careful! My Grandson is a bee-keeper, and sells lots of honey . I think I should be stitching the 'sting like a bee' for his wife! Julie, yours is beautiful...as is the butterfly pattern. I LOVE the 'America' pattern, and the way that you have it finished!! Jane-what a coincidence. Last weekend at a retreat (April 5) I found a Linen Symphony on the freebie table. I picked it up because my sister stitched it for me 40 years ago and it hangs in my room. I also found quite a few Shepherds Bush patterns and kits. I can’t wait to start them.

I’m currently working on a 40 count and a 32 count. I think I’m going to aim for 36. The 32 is a very loose weave and I’m not too happy with the 1 over 2 coverage…..but I soldier on because it’s almost finished!!!!! Omg I never fail to laugh and smile my whole way through your videos. You both are a ray of sunshine in my life, thank you. Jane I love all your Shepherds Bush WIPs. So beautiful. And Julie your finished pillows are just gorgeous. I’m so sorry about your thumbs. I struggle with that too. I also have an essential tremor disorder which, of course, affects my dominant hand😢 I always say I’d be a much faster stitcher if it didn’t take me six tries to get my needle through the right hole. Just as I hit the hole my hand shakes and my needle goes somewhere else lol. But I refuse to give up stitching, it’s my sanity saver. Love you ladies! ❤
