Hello Liam. I don't know if you will receive the comment, but again thank you for another informative video. If I should give you a few recommendations for EDC or tech, it would be Anker. They have clever chargers for all your devices, and I mean all of them. The charger sense how much "juice" your device needs and charge it full without overcharging it. They also have powerbanks of various sizes, and I believe they also have one for laptops. If you plan to go "off the grid" they have entire power stations available to plug in your home supplies as well as devices. I also saw that you are a fan of note taking. I don't know how the weather is in the UK, but I would like to recommend a brand that I use everyday, both for note taking, but also writing notes to law enforcement. Rite in The Rain is a company that specializes in note taking products and calendars that are waterproof. And I mean waterproof. My local shop has running tap over a Rite In The Rain notepad with written ink on the paper, and you as a customer can also write on it. The ink does not wash out on the paper. Both notepads and pens are meant to be used in the outdoors. The pens are replenishable. It's a bit pricy, but given how often it rains in the UK, I think they are worth a look: www.riteintherain.com/
I Totally agree. I carry my phone in one pocket, my clip with driver’s license, 1 credit card and debit card, and my key fob for car. Travel light my friends.
I am very impressed by your productive life (job, school, business, exercise)! You have a neat portable desk setup as well! However, I would add a laptop stand (e.g. Roost stand) and a portable monitor stand (e.g. Nomad Setups). This way you can also make your portable desk setup ergonomic 😉
Hi Liam, can you make a video showing your typical day in the life and how you make time for running a business, your actual dayjob, exercise, social life, and everything else you do on a daily basis? I feel like a lot of us want to be productive but we don't see how to fit everything logistically into a day-to-day pattern.
The Bose quiet comfort work great and the model above that one works better. Can’t wait to try the latest one tho. Must be even comfier. Still have the originals muffs.
Similar with you, I always bring my portable 15.6" display. Very convenient especially you only need 1 USB C PD cable. And also same 3 in 1 logitech keyboard, no sharp edges, decent finger travel distance, and key depth.
Liam, I know you are sponsored by Larq. But I would reccomend Dopper for a drinking bottle with great isolation. I've been a busdriver for 9 years and the last 4 I had a dopper. No problems, no leaks and my coffee or soda stayed cool for a long time.
I would definitely add a multitool, I carry the Gerber Para-frame pocket knife and the Gerber dime multitool. Because of your line of work, I would suggest a Leatherman knifeless Rebar, there is no knife on it but I have found a multitool of sorts has come in handy more times than I can possibly count.
4:10 I've had the forged carbon version for years and it practically doesn't show any wear, I only bring it if I have secure pockets though as they do side around easily. For everything else, I wear the magnetic Re-Form wallet with the pouch, easily my favorite practical test compact wallet.
Also, seperately can you make a video on procrastinating? I don't know if you struggle with this or have in the past, but I feel like thats the number one thing that stops me from staying productive. I'll get motivation once in a blue moon and actually start doing something, but then several days later, I look up and find myself exactly where I was before, back to the same inaction. I don't even realize when it happens. It's like unconscious procrastination. And then I see you being productive 24/7 and achieving all your goals and yeah.. help!
My 64GB Kindle Scribe. Have 1,000's of PDF books, use it for habit trackers, & also use it to take notes in classes & meetings. For an easier carry, I use my Kindle Paperwhite Signature, which I can pop out when I'm in a queue or waiting for something.
For earplugs, go the extra mile and have some fitted to your ear. My last pair was like €80 and is made of silicone, slips in perfectly, no pressure points, and much more comfortable than those foam thingies. And better at noise cancelling too. I got them from some hearing aid shop.
1st time viewer... and wow.... when I first saw that awesome looking backpack in the opening scenes I thought "it looks cool but I'm sure its $350 bucks because every cool new backpack is $350". then I found out it was your own custom backpack and knew it would be $350+ (by the way I would never buy any backpack no matter the use case for more than about $120 and that includes long term through hiking backpacks or large camera bags not just edc bags) but figured I'd look it up anyway. When I saw the $90 price tag I was floored I couldn't believe that youtuber was producing such a stylish useful backpack in that price point. My wife would have my head if I bought another backpack right now(I have a bit of an obsession) but it is added to my list and you earned a new subscriber today just by pricing you gear appropriately.
I have to laugh with the Filofax. I use a paper notebook myself, but before I down sized I used an A4 sized binder with calendar pages and index pages. It was larger than my laptop but kept me more organized. What makes me laugh is running around with “only” five cards. I can’t leave the house without a dozen, including drivers license, office access, alternate base access 2x, insurance cards, and credit cards (cash, corporate, and personal). And that’s the base.
That's a LOT of heavy tech kit Liam. How on earth do you carry all that round with you on a daily basis without getting a bad back or neck strain? I find it a bind enough just to carry a laptop..
Great content. The days of my Windows PC being better than my Mac are over. Still, some people cannot understand that you buy what you need to accomplish your mission. I have a laptop and two PCs with Win10 or Win11 to play games. I have a few Macs for productivity and a few Lixux PCs. I still use a MacSE30 that I bought in 1989 and a few Amigas that I also use for drafting documents. I used to engage in the Flame Wars in Usenet to screw with people’s minds 😂. The result is the same nowadays: to use the PC that fits your workload.
For your laptop, how’s the battery holding up compared to a MacBook? I tried countless of windows laptops and battery life was always garbage compared to my M2 Pro :/
It's refreshing to see one of these EDC videos that doesn't have the Macbook - iPad - iPhone holy trinity. Not that there's anything wrong with that setup, but it's nice to have a little variety now and then.
Hi Liam, Thanks for making this video it will help us to improve the day with little changes in EDC and make the day very much productive with tools. And one recommendation from my side is to keep Air Tag best as you are using iPhone so it will help you when needed. 🙂
I'm using some of the exact products as you do 😂 Otherwise what I always like to have on me is a little pouch for my chargers since I try to get in some study time in the library, wired headphones and an umbrella since Menos is yet to sell some waterproof jackets 😉
First, you did an AMAZING job with this video. Second, love your backpack and the purpose behind your company. I’ll going to look into your company. Happy Holidays and wish you the best.
Great video, been watching for about a year, they've gotten a ton better. Awesome camera shots. How much are you making with a channel with 235k and bring a lawyer in London? Get your girlfriend some airpod pros man lol.
Brilliant videos. I’ve binged on so many. I love the Menos bags and hoped for one for Christmas. I had plenty of other items, but not the bag. So, I’ve just ordered it myself, and got a discount! All the best to you and please keep the videos coming. I’m an old dog who’s learning new tricks. 😉
Only things I have to add are the "Roost Laptop Stand." Helps a ton with posture and angling your laptop screen up while you're working on the go. Also, the "Lochby Quattro" pen case. Maybe only because I'm kinda a pen snob; I like having a setup that protects them & is pretty minimalist
I actually have to ack to you why don’t you use a MacBook? I know that Asus makes as well good products, but even just for the compatibility with iPhone i prefer it, let me knew
If I hadn't just bought a backpack, I would be ordering one of yours...it looks great! Great video too. One thing I might suggest is, as a young professional, that you upgrade your pen and pencil. Something like the Multi Pen by Craft Design Technology or even the Lamy 2000 Multi Pen. Those would better match your other equipment too. DOn't get me wrong, I love a good Bic (or Biro) but as a professional there are much better options out there.
my everyday carry kit looks like I use it every day. When the kit you say you use everyday looks like its just been unwrapped, I just have to doubt your credibility.
Well…the main reason of this video was for the promotion of the menos bag. As for his “everyday carry” I don’t think that he is going like that to work. This is more like what he needs to get with him when he travels (again no one carries that much)
@@Rammyrichsorry I’m with the OP. None of that stuff looks used in any way. Which does not qualify as ‘every day carry’ imho. Calling out credibility. Isn’t ‘hate’ either. That’s a false dichotomy.
Ok so in this guy’s defense… a lot of his stuff looks like it has a faint patina to them… but they look like he takes a lot of care to minimize that. Personally, still, I’m on OP's side... I actually really like the look of black well-painted metal when the silver peeks through like bits of his phone case.
I mean Asus Zenbook is great BUT M2 Macs are still the best (AND Apple network is soooo cool) All that to say it's so awesome ! And you look so clean like wtf T^T
Enjoyed the video, but man that backpack looked really cool but that logo ruins the entire bag, nothing screams NOT minimal more than a giant contrast logo. I would be fine with a small corner one in a similar color as the bag or maybe just no logo visible outside at all. But man you were so close and ruined it.
There is no way that all this fits into your backpack without having to worry about breaking a screen or two. I also wonder how much weight that all is.

I keep watching this video. It’s so detailed and productive! 😂
I love using my oldschool planner and just get very excited whenever I buy a new refill😅
some of this EDC stuff gets a bit ridiculous... and frankly can be achieved more efficiently.. but thanks for the inspiration man...

I like your productivity software suggestions! Just a heads-up, Immersive Translate has been a game-changer for reading foreign productivity blogs.
Wow! Great looking space. Will definitely look into your channel for ideas.
I don't need all the Desk Setup but I need his unlimited pockets!!!

Great selection, one thing i couldn't do without is my swiss army knife, and a spork.
Refreshing to see a Filofax Malden in the digital world.
yep this set up is for me, time to find a job so I can afford to make such setup
Somebody tell him finally that if he has a laptop he haven't to take a separate keyboard in travels, it is already exists in laptop XD
After a challenging day, listening to this music helps me achieve a state of utmost relaxation and provides me solace.

Just used your link to grab the Larq in black! Been looking for a new water bottle, thanks Liam!
You need the roost laptop holder in your life! Highly mobile great for travel
Recommend the iPhone neck lanyard by Nite ize, also the carbon fiber slim wallet clip by WYN Labs.
i love when people call The QC45 massive cuz i’m like they are tiny compared to my ModHouse Argon Mk3 modified Fostex headphones
Love your work Liam. I even finished your course about Trello in skillshare.

New subscriber. EDC is way of life. Thanks for sharing this vid 🤙🏽
Having stuff in your pockets is a way of life.
I would reccomend the MX mini
I am liking this daily carry because its not tied to one ecosystem but designed in such a way that everything just works according to him
Thank you for this video!!!
Great video!
Hey Liam, does having no sound on the ASUS Portable monitor affect you at all?
Thanks for sharing! Appreciate your content from “across the pond”.
I usually only get my packs from Alpaka or Peak Design, with that said I’m totally sold on this Menos pack. I can’t wait to get this!
what backpack do you use? Great Video btw.!
I would recommend legion slim 5 14

2:14 what kind of monster keeps literally anything else in the same pocket as a phone? Especially keys my god.
key case is used so you don't have to worry about keeping it in the same pocket
Id suggest the iclever folding split keyboard. It’s so comfortable for travel

Great products and overall video!
Great vid! Love this. Sub’d
I have almost the same setup but you know I can't handle the weight. how heavy is your laptop?
First, you did an AMAZING job with this video. Second, love your backpack and the purpose behind your company. I’ll going to look into your company. Happy Holidays and wish you the best.
SUGGESTION FOR EDC " XREAL PRO GLASSES
Sleep on AirPods? That’s why now I had to upgrade to the newer one cuz I broke the first while laying on head on it while sleeping

An AirTag always vital for me in my menos backpack. Just slip it away in the portable charger zipper pocket
I can't believe that nobody has told this guy not to his phone in the same pocket as his keys. Lol
You got mine of money.
Bro if you love the camera on the iphone you'd love the camera on the s24u or any flagship samsung plus their faster phones

iphone without any case is either for a really brave man or a serial killer. Great video tho!
Came for the tech subscribed to fellow filofax user
Source to your iphone background?

what is the name of the to do program to use? thx
This is just a long commercial
Thanks i thought i was the only one thinking the same thing
Why bring extra keyb?

That Asus monitor is almost double the weight of the LG Gram view.
❤❤❤❤
Hi Liam.....LIAM10 does not work I'm afraid ? Just ordered a MENOS Ocean and the discount wouldnt go through?
So sorry Guy! The code wasn’t set up for the Ocean edition! I can get the team to cancel your order and refund you so you can order again?
As we havent heard from you and don’t want your order to get held up, we’ll ship your order at full price! Sorry again about that!
@@liam.porritt just saw this message! Not to worry, it wasnt a big amount anyway. I received the bag this morning....loving it so far
Why the things you "use everyday" looks mint new?
I'm not convinced and I'm not buying any of these products.
no one said you had to..? its just what he uses in his daily life
Brainless 😂
Lol
Ok 😐
