In January 2016 I walked around in the local library with no idea what I was doing there, like where I was looking for, I was new to art and creativity so for a particular reason I ended up at that section of the library and there I bumped into the artist way. I took the book home, started reading it and discovered it was some kind of 12-week self-help program for creatives. I thought wow this looks amazing. I brought the book back to the library and instead bought my own copy of it. And started the 12-week journey with myself. That is what I love the most about it, that you don't need anything or anyone to start it, you only need the book. The stunning thing was, I got far more out of it than a couple of thousands dollar program I had bought 6 months before, from some kind of "self-help guru" with false promises about creating a dream life. Far overpriced and underdelivering. The book, cost me 12 euros. So for the full program, 1 euro per week. So that whole idea of that you have to invest a lot in yourself to get high results is just a marketing myth. More recently I have listened to "walking in this world" and currently I am thinking about restarting the artist way again.

I had been doing the Artist's dates and the walks, but I got away from the Morning Pages and Asking for Guideance. For me, I may have subconsciously asked for guideance as long as I wrote my morning pages, or some kind of notes, or "journal" - the flow would come, but without the practice of writing every day - that's when blockage comes.
Guess this is a sign to dive back in and find some morning pages time :) XO - Monauar, Team Forleo
