The power steering reservoir sits on top of the power steering pump, ensuring there is enough fluid for the system to run effectively. If your reservoir has been damaged, or is leaking, you need to replace it to keep the power steering working, and to avoid damaging the pump. This video shows you how to install a new power steering reservoir in your 1983-2001 Jeep Cherokee.

Are you to do a video on how to replace the power steering pump seal. Mine is leaking from the pump area. It may be the reservoir
Amazingly executed! Thank you so much for the information video🎉
Worked perfect the first time for our 98 jeep Cherokee
I would however add you don't have to fully remove the belt just slide it off the power steering pulley only
Good video! While trying to remove the return line hose, I snapped off the plastic nipple. Now I get to replace my reservoir
Just did the same, except I only bumped it while replacing a motor mount. It must have been brittle!
@@p2y2r7o I did the exact same thing
I’m in the same boat too 😂
Me gusta mucho como cambian lo nuevo por lo viejo en los jeep cherokee y lo bien q lo hace esa mujer , tiene buenísimas manos y conocimiento
Thanks for the clear tutorial!
Warning if you have 1988. .This procedure will not work, as the power steering pump and adjuster are totally different. I appreciate your video but the Years really need to be changed. Thanks for posting and taking the time to do this very good. The adjust is is opposite and on the bottom of the pump.
Whiz size is the O-ring for the reservoir?
I have this question too, that’s what I actually need to replace
I go to pull-a-parts for my power steering pumps don't have to take off pulley.
I can’t find a pump tht fits my res ANYWHERE
