Thx for this honest review. The idea is good, price fair. I think, you shouldn't use the clamps as well. Much easier to rotate the board then 😉 It would have been so cool & unique to have a dimmer! What I do not like that much: the cable at the ring hangs so loose? Why not having it directly fittet on the arm and on the wall?
I have been using the corona for sometime and didnt realised that i was lifting my hand/arm every time i get the darts off the board. after the i seen the review by Alan (Mission), I realised the awkwardness in lifting my hand. The design is really unique and really surprise that not having the bottom part does not disrupt the lighting. Good job on the design Mission. Sorry mate, no IG or Twitter account. Just hope to win the lighting system.
The important thing about it, it's light up the board very well. As you said "there's no shadow that you can see", so it produce it main purpose. Is to light up the board. Short review very well done, thanks
I think it’s an interesting idea and good on Mission for thinking outside the box. I would also imagine its connects to a Mission board the best. 👍🎯

Never tried a Mission board. Recently purchased 2 unicorn boards and I think I prefer them over Winmau boards. Very soft, no undue bounce outs but some slight surface imperfections.
Perfect mate, love it. Great for kids or leprechauns collecting their darts

I have the target light ring, so much better than in old days, where you had spotlight on the board, then you needed another light shining directly downwards to cancel the shadows out. Youngsters haven’t lived! 👍🏻😂😂🤣😎
I don’t use the ring lights as it plays havoc with my eyes but that looks like a nice piece of kit fair play,

Hey! I have a full mission set-up Samurai II and Mission Dart's Stand Also Mission Light and Carpet Dart's Mat which I don't even use, I didn't even like it after using it
That light looks fantastic. Would really brighten up my garage board.
Love the look of this especially when I play with my son would deffo prefer over the corona 👍
The blue color to the light was the biggest thing for me to get used to on the original version.
IMO Every light ring should have a scolia adaptor kit option. Question then would be which light ring would you use?
This looks great I put my phone (scoreboard) practically just under where that 90 degree section is missing the 270 would be ideal for my set up
Looks like a good idea not having the bottom part so that you can more easily get to the board. It is not 270 degrees though - more like 300 degrees! LOL I wouldn’t mind one though so happy to win this one!
I think i'd hit the support bars a lot. lol
It fits perfectly on the unicorn boards as well. Very easy!!! to assemble. Love it. Highly recommended. Cheers.

Im intrigued to see what the aluminium frame is like. Looks like a decent product however i was hoping for something like the Scolia. Surely it cant b too long before one of the big boys bring out a rival...

It looks like a horse shoe but yeah seemed fiddly and I'd definitely magnetize the arms also but. That would all reflect in the price I'm assuming. Great vid as always mate

This tool seems to be great! If your ceiling isn't high enough, you can now simply turn this mission system to have the open space at the top, so there won't be problems any more.

It's actually so that you can retrieve your darts easier and even better if you have a child playing on it, I didn't realise this until after the launch happened!
@@TheDartsReferee ah i see makes sense. cant say i have had an issue with the full 360 corona when retrieving darts so didnt think of that one.
So you can walk up nearer to board if you your not too talk
Is take Allen keys over Phillips or flat head any day. Just a better fastener in my opinion

Those brackets are terrible. They do not fit on the Target Pro Tour boards, so they slide off and fall onto the ground. I had to use a bit of duct tape to make them stick, as I remove the light rings at my club when they are not in use for league play. It's a hassle, I may need to buy surrounds going forward.

I say go ahead and make that 360*, get rid of the useless hardware, add another leg, and then call it a Target Corona Vision. Maybe I'm not seeing the advantage of an incomplete circle. It would annoy me.

Like the idea of the missing bottom section. I assume it's to make it easier to get the darts out. I currently use the Corona and fell like I am having to reach over the ring to retrieve my darts. Twitter @flodsey

Great idea for the easy access at the bottom of the ring, makes it easier for my son (and my short self) to retrieve the darts, would be an ideal first dart ring :-D @Craig_Moore_

Clean looking light system for sure. I imagine would be great for young starters in helping them get the darts out of the board, particularly with the gap.

I think it's a great bit of kit for the young or petite.
The clip system for the legs seems a faff but loving the ingenuity mate! "Wil the surround hold it up?" Yes it does!

Looks great. Must say I was also worried that there might be a shadow at the bottom of the board. As Michael pointed out for shorter players this is a good light ring to purchase for the ease of removing darts. Must say I prefer a blue light vs a more yellow light. Some more research could have gone in to the dart board attachment brackets, would have thought Mission would have had all the top quality boards on hand to test prior to release. Having said all that I would still use it and make it work for me should the brackets not fit on my board. Keep up the great channel. Instagram sheldonrichter.

I personally dont mind the blue color of the LED, but then again all my LED are that color so i guess im used to it. but yea i do think that missing section was smart because for smaller people that ring is annoying, and with this surround that issue is gone. i do agree with you that the mounting is a little wonky but im shure it will hold on just fine like that if you have the plastic ring on your board. Was worried about shadows at the bottom but doesn’t seem an issue. Overall, the assembly of the Corona gives that the edge. And who even has Allen keys nowadays 🤣
