The Great 9F Rescue Act On The NYMR Sat 23th Sept Autumn Gala

When the Std 4 MT tank loco ran out of water on the climb to Moorgates Bridge it seemed that operations maybe funereal; BUT, speedy emergency protocols were put into force and the resident 9F , lurking at Levisham was requested as the solution to the problem. After a quick coupling up and hose connections, the 9F barks away from the fields near Thornhill farm and hammers towards the summit. Wow what a noise!
