KWVR Spring Gala Trains in the Night. Saturday 11th between 18.00 and 20.00

The vinyl Argo Transacord album Trains In The Night is a legend so I am using this as a title for this very short film. The snow had begun to fall again by Sat tea time and we see the Standard 4 getting some TLC in the smoke box followed by some movement in the yard. Soon 45407 leaves Haworth station and gives a cracking display of the staccato rhythm of a Black 5 in all its glory. The noise carried all the way to Oxenhope - it was exceptional. After a dash ( !) back to the apartment to warm up, it was back again to the car park at Brighouse Mills for the departure of Leander with its last train of the day. The snow was quite heavy by now and the pinkish sky and exhaust made it a very surreal clip. Hi to the guy from Gloucester who was also there!
