The narrator was so pleasant to listen to. I mowed my lawn and listened to this. I really like James Patterson's books and am happy to have them on audio when I'm unable to read them myself. Thank you so much for posting these.

The only issue in the Novel is that the Defense is putting on a case before the Jury with their own interpretation of Evidence?
In a REAL COURT of Law in the US, The Prosecution Presents a Case of Evidence to the Jury. The Defense can question the Prosecution's Witnesses and they also have a chance after the Prosecution rests to bring their own Witnesses up before the Jury and present any conflicting Evidence of their own?
It is entirely up to the Prosecution to Prove their Case. Not the other way around? In other words, the Defense does not have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt the innocence of their Client?
Making this Story unrealistic and for sure a game.
Of course most Trials are just that. A game of which side did a better job presenting or defending their Case? What Evidence was admissible and not Predjudicial to the Defendant? What type of Jury is selected and if there should have been a change of venue? How much media coverage the case is exposed to prior to the Trial? The expertise and integrity of Attorney's presenting the Case on both sides? And most Importantly, a fair Judge who has firm control over his/her Courtroom.
Otherwise you miss the whole point of what true American Justice is?
A client is innocent until Proven Guilty by the Evidence Presented in a Court of Law and then found Guilty by a Jury of their peers.
Then Sentenced by a Judge, according to the Statutes written and Voted for by the People.
That's why it's imperative to know what the Jail Terms and Prison Sentences are for Certain Crimes, and to know that if there is a Statute of Limitations on certain Crimes how long those Statutes are?
In some Countries SA, R, DV, and CA either have very a short Statute of Limitations, less than 6 Months, or they don't even Prosecute some of these Crimes?
Some Countries still have a Statute of Limitations on Murder? And the Sentences for Murder can be as little as 7 years? Because nobody has questioned or changed antiquated Laws?
When life in Prison is 10 years? The Laws need to be changed!

Just want to say that a Glock pistol does not have a safety.
