1. the skin acts as a physical barrier, preventing pathogens from entering the skin also secrets an oil called sebum, which kills all pathogens the skin also clots at the site of a wound, because of platelets, to prevent pathogens from entering. 2. the nose has mucus which traps pathogens the nose has hairs which also trap the pathogens and prevent them from entering the body. 3. mucus traps pathogens 4. the stomach secrets HCl which is very acidic and can kill pathogens. 5. white blood cells do phagocytosis, which is the process of attaching to a foreign pathogen and engulfing white blood cells (lymphocytes) also produces antibodies which bind to the antigens, preventing them from producing any more antigens t-cells memorise the shape of the antigen in the pathogen, so that it acts faster the next time the pathogen comes back, preventing them from spreading 6. an antigen is a specific protein that is found on the surface of pathogens (? i think lol) thanks for this !! :D
You’ve missed a small part: - After the primary immune response (the first time the disease enters the body and the lymphocytes produce antibodies to destroy it) the lymphocytes that produced the antibodies for the specific disease will develop into a memory cell so that when the pathogen enters for the second time (secondary immune response) the lymphocytes will produce antibodies much quicker and destroys the pathogens before they can multiply.
For real, i wrote 5 pages of dis on my notebook while i couldve learnt everything i needed to from a video omg dis literally stated everything! EVERYTHING! Oml stupid and even if there wasnt vaccine or passive immunity like who cares dis is d main subject!
