I managed 407hp, 409tq on a 14' L99 stock cam, full Kooks exhaust, Airaid CAI and a tune.
Kooks makes top of the line stuff fitment is awesome definitely worth the extra bucks

@@bingobango170Ultra late reply, but I’m sure if you don’t account for all of the other factors, such as heat soak, and same diameter intake pipe as the stock one, etc.
It most definitely picks up power with the Vararam style center-mounted intake systems. But most other “cold air” intakes are pretty much ram style intakes, due to the lack of engine bay space… yet they still gain a few ~5-10 HP here and there at the very least.
I chose to keep my stock airbox, but am running a Green Filter drop-in dry air filter, and have swapped out the stock intake tube/pipe for an Airaid “dead air” intake pipe (doesn’t have the resonators that are present on the stock pipe). This probably doesn’t do a whole ton, but it definitely runs better; not to mention it keeps the engine bay tidy (for swapping out front head light bulbs, etc.).
I have aftermarket heads cam 102 intake 102 throttle body long tubes no cats. I made 510. The only difference is mine is tuned on 91 octane

Brian King nice dude lol i just blew my motor ( intake, tune ) and lucked up on a brand new crate ls3 and got a 239/247 stage 3 cam cam from a man that was sponsored by vengeance gave me the whole kit from trunion to johnson lifters brand new. Also bought stage 4 clutch, full exhaust / headers, already have intake, and see what i make . Hopefully around 490/500 but i dont think so without aftermarket heads. What do you think i’ll make on this setup?

I would have thought that a cam, headers and CAI tuned should come in around 500hp or so... I just have a CAI TSP 2" LTH with no tune did 422 rwh on a mustang dyno. Don't get me wrong I am not poo pooing your numbers at all but would have expected slightly higher numbers..

My 2012 2ss hits 432 on a Mustang Dyno. All it has is a K&N Cold Air Intake, Kooks Long Tube Headers, and catless Borla ATAK exhaust.
@@geopioneergsxr5357 Dyno numbers are never accurate compared to different dynos. Ive ran dynos, and depending on the data you enter into the computer it can inflate or deflate the numbers given.

Can someone please tell me what the tail lights are called? Definitely want to install them on my car but i can’t seem to find it online. It would help to at least know the name though
Those are the OEM tail lights. Come stock on every camaro with the RS package in the 14-15 5th gen models.
I thought these could push close to 500 with your mods? Or maybe with a full exhaust. Did you get catted or catless extensions?

Using the 560 at crank - 15% = 476, using a tool found online at www.mk5cortinaestate.co.uk/calculator4.php 458 at the wheel ends up at 532 hp at crank. Does this matter not at all just trying to understand what others are seeing on their 1LE's. Believe me I know that a Dyno is just a measuring tool and no one dyno will read exactly the same. Either way great car and great numbers !!! Have you thought about taking it to the Track?

I don't understand why people dyno with the hood open? You don't drive it like that. Show me the dyno with full heat soak, closed hood. Show me the worst possible numbers, not the best possible.
The reason you don't, is the cooling that occurs at around 100mph due to airflow is amazing under the hood. Standing still, pushing that power, there is drastically less cooling.
When you're moving through air, it is amazing how pressure builds and flow occurs to help with cooling.
Plus with that hood wide open it will have huuuge wind drag and will slow the car down. Close it knuckleheads!
