Thunderstruck by Steve'n'Seagulls (LIVE)
• Thunderstruck by Steve...
Finnish band called Steve'n'Seagulls plays AC/DC's awesome song called Thunderstruck. Recorded by Jaakko Manninen Photography.
Imagine being a roadie for this band and having to carry the anvil around
😂😂😂
It isn't my fault if you weren't quick enough to grab the sheet music.
🤘😁😂
I got an anvil guy
In finland we actually have anvils growing in the woods
What would we do without these amazing finns:)
missing awesome music? :]
Implying we exist outside internet
Then there would be alot less good vodka and licorice in this world. :-)
@@zapagog Neither of those things are Finnish.
@@YourGodStalin I never claimed that they were either.
They were just a local fun band but with this video they got invited to several festivals and even went to USA.
...there is a heavy metal band to be found even in most rural places (like barns) of Finland 😁
So the movie "Heavy Trip" (2018) is an accurate depiction of metal in Finland. Gotcha! 😁
It's a great movie, btw. If you haven't seen it, you should.
This video always makes me smile 🤣🤣🤣😘
The banjo player is my old school friend, we were 7 years in the same class. :)
Can I have your autograph?
Went to there gig in edinburgh (scotland) and went drinking with them afterwords awsome guys awsome song.
I have been loving on Steve'n'Seagulls for a couple years since I saw this video for the first time. Who know bluegrass could be so cool?
Check out Gangstagrass! I'm not a fan of hiphop nor bluegrass and would've _never_ thought they fit together, but it indeed does.
With Steve 'n' Seagulls, what you see (and hear) is what you get. And yes, they are a doggone good, super-creative band! Last week, I saw them perform LIVE at Blue Canoe in Tupelo, MS.
Steven's seagulls is awsome! The band is from Finland and are doing a lot of rock and metal classics in their blue grass smelling way. You should really check out their other videos.
The band has touring a lot of countries, US to.
Steve 'n' Seagulls, like Steve & Seagulls
This is their biggest hit, 111M views on YT. thousands of praising comments, asking when are you coming to play in my home country. The name of their first album was "Brothers in Farms" It was Billboard number one, blue grass genre. They had to cancel their 56 day 38 concert European tour, but thanks to that I'm going to see them in Helsinki Culture House on Friday November 20th. I live less tha a mile away.
Steve 'n' Seagulls participated in the Nightwish Cruise. They have covered a Nightwish song. Wishmaster I think it was, but imo it is not one of their best, althogh Nightwish approved. The guy playing the uoright bass added quickly about Nightwish at the end of an intreview: "I like their new singer", meaning Floor. I don't think he was referring only to her vocal skills.
Two changes in the line-up. New bassist, new drummer, both excellent. The bassist sings one song, Antisocial, in French. They have lots of fans in France.
I saw Steve 'n' Seagulls on June 27th at Allas Sea Pool in Helsinki. They are amazing live. I got the setlist from the main voacalist as a souvenir, and I got to talk to them for quite some time, between their two sets, when they were selling merchandise, and after the concert. They are the nicest of people.
The banjo player is a great vocalist too. (Pantera cover "Cemetery Gates" fore example. Performed in a park in the US, NY? Central Park?)
They are amazing
Their version of Maiden's "Trooper" is awesome as well
This is vintage "back porch music" . Cajun and Zydeco do this kind of stuff all over south central Lousiana. Check out the Lost Bayou Ramblers or any of the great Zydeco bands from that area.
Their November Rain is also awesome.
You know it's an amazing song when the female reactor keeps smiling for the entire thing.
OMG je kiiiiffff grave excellent wouahhhh merci les adorables 👍😱👏💖😍
You HAVE to do their version of Pantera's Cemetery Gates! The banjo player sings and I think he is the far superior voice there. They are in a park with people just sitting on benches, going WTF? as they jam. One of my faves of theirs, it is actually a truly great cover, but I think they are great at all of the covers they do. Thanks for doing this, love you guys!
I came here to say the same thing! Such an awesome cover.
Even those country boys love metal!
This dude can't stop laughing ahaha. Sooo funny!
it's one of the 2 "biggest" band of rockgrass with the creator of the style "hayseed dixies" ( yes it's TOO a play on words for AC/DC!
My all-time best band turns Finnish folk and makes me equally happy, good reaction!
This is only my second time with you but I love everything I've seen so far!
Nice reaction! And they were playing the anvil. Can you think of anything more metal than that?
They were the first band I saw live after the covid restrictions were lifted for smaller outdoor concerts in July. Nice, laid back guys having a beer 🍺 or a cigarette with the fans before and after the show... Their covers of Guns n Roses, Iron Maiden and Metallica are great. Check out Ace of Spades, Seek n Destroy, November Rain, Born to be Wild, Cemetary Gates and a lot of other good stuff!
they are truly a great band.
The only great thing they haven't covered is their nipples
Did you say it was your first time seeing the spoons played? Check out the spoon lady and outstanding blues music from the south! You'll be amazed. Love your reactions. Peace from Michigan!
That was awesome, I couldn't stop smiling all the way through that.
Thank you for reacting to that, made my week :-)
My pleasure 😊
Love this band ! Check out more of their viseos..
Here in Finland, we dont play only anvils, we do have spoons too!!!
Just been at their gig here in Belfast, Northern Ireland, woooow , super friendly and full on show , amazing artists
Finland rockin' the house!!
I'm an Aussie and have loved AC/Dc since 1974, and I have to say... this is FUCKEN BANGIN"!!Loved your reaction x :D
A bluegrass/rock band from Finland. Pretty awesome stuff.
That was excellent ... AC/ DC in country ! Great ...
Sie this guys last weekend live amazing so great 😁
The actor is Steven Segall and, yes, he has at least one album.
Here in Finland you must be creative if you want to be top of the list. Again, your reaction was amazing. Love you guys. 😊
What I love about y'all is that if you think it's good you get more and more animated in watching it.
Most awesome thing that I hardly understand is they are from (and live in) Finland.
Like a Japanese flamenco dancer 😂
The power of music!
Don't miss their covers of November rain (GnR) or Cemetery gates (Pantera)
i love it so much!! go boys!1
One of the best and funniest gigs that I have ever seen. Great band! 💪😃
My guys got humbled. They are fire.
They are such goobers and i love it
Have been waiting for this one!. Beside Nightwish and other great bands in Finland, we have also most Hillbilly band outside of Alabama :-). To be honest, Steve'n Seagulls is one helluva band!!!!
I love it!! ...(Travis)
Steve N'Seagulls is a band from FINLAND!!!! They are a Finnish country band with great accents. If you get a chance to see them in person do it.
Travis, Your laughing makes me laugh, the both of you are absolute sweethearts!
(I've got sore ribs from laughing with the two of ya before the song even started) -thanks xx
Try their renditions of "Nothing Else Matters" and "House of the Rising Sun".
Cheers from Finland! Love your reactions. 🙂
their live Cemetary Gates at a park in NYC is so amazing
I now this Band for 4 Years. Grandpa.
I saw them live, and they are cool guys and wonderful musicians. The place was full and everyone was chanting and singing along with them. Herman the Banjo player is of other world. (I took my wife to see them, and she thought it was Steven Sesgale too.) 👏🏼🪕🤘🏼
Great reaction video! I have seen this video a few years ago- still just blows you away how tight they played- perfect pitch, and harmony, and everything!
this is sick they are so tight and lock in with each other epic this is so good
This them Backstage during a festival somewhere "I don't know where...""
AC/DC "You Shook Me All Night Long" By STEVE 'N' SEAGULLS at SXSW 2016 | Metal Injection
Can’t believe you have not seen these before, they have done loads, you may also love 2 chellos, loves this thanks
I've always said they are the best Bluegrass Band from Finland.

My old guitar teacher knows these guys.
They Are super cool live band! Definitely...
I want to see more of this incredibly talented band.
Saw these guys live a week ago and they are so freaking good live it's unreal.
What a great reaction to awesome music. Laughing and grinning from 00:01 all to 08:13. Thank you. You dont know how much I needed this today.
That laughing break-down in the intro painted a huge smile on my face.
Damn, that was greatly contagious, and I love it!
A young Quentin Tarantino on the drums!🤘😁
I Love these guys!
Been listen to them for years 🤘
Cheers from Northern Sweden 🍻
These guys are amazing!!!
GREAT !!!!!!!! Next episode June 17 their special guest is -
TARJA !!!
💘
flawless
I saw Steve'N'Seagulls Live in Manchester last week, when they played Thunderstruck, sadly no Anvil or spoons, but hell the whole 90 minute set was amazing .... you HAVE to go see them next time they tour near you!
3:38 they are touring USA now! We are going to see them in April in Kentucky
When I saw this cover by the band I was like omg. I have seen people play the spoon before but it has been years, and when I saw the drummer play them, I was thinking at least someone is keeping the spoon playing alive
We finns, we have too much time in the dark...😂😂😉🇫🇮👍
Also... LaWanda.. THANK YOU! :)
Thank you for making these two check out Steve'n'Seagull's version of Thunderstruck! :)
THANK YOU! :)
(do I need to do the at-sign? like @LaWanda - THANK YOU!! )
Love your reviews Cannot believe you haven't done The Final Countdown by Europe It brings you alive any time of the day
Oh what a surprise!!!! The banjo solos are unbelievely! fantastic arrangement.
I would love to see ACDC's reaction to this!
Saw them playing live a few years back. Very entertaining stuff.
Seen em live, was awesome! 🤘
You should check out their cover of Cemetary Gates. It's amazing!
Lockdown since a week thx for your reactions, they always bring a smile
If you have the opportunity to see these guys live, do so. They put on a great show!
Just ran across this video, I know it is 2 years old according to the title. I did like that they started of with both of them laughing. I'm old (58) but yeah, I remember this. Not talking about the song.
They were awesome live!
LMAO I can't believe you guys reacted to these guys. They are bloody awesome and not really well known, mores the shame. Thanks a lot for another slapping reaction, you guys kick ass.
Next stop "Nothing Else Matters" - Metallica, by these crazy Finns"?
Liked just because of the laughing in the beginning :):):):):)
Muito bom, sensacioanal...best cover AC/DC :) - (Im in Brazil)
Again, cool rocking Finns! Yeah!
Awesome to see live! Was one of the best concerts 2019
Nice reaction to this version. I always refer to another version that is a bit more heavy metal in Leo Morrachioli’s Thunderstruck because of the contrast between them.
I saw them live in Finnland at the Harley Davidson super rally and yes there just like Video, Top
How about Steve'n'Seagulls cover of My Sharona? IT IS ALSO BRILLIANT!
To blow your minds some more they are from Finland on top of it all
Great reaction! So fun. I discovered this in 2014 and have watched hundreds of times since! Love it. And yes, it’s live and in one take. Brilliant.
This is kind of finnish reverse metal 😁
They have been playing on metal festivals Wacken included.
Best hillbillies ... from Finland! :D
There great 😂😍😍😍😍
Badass!!!
Has anyone mentioned they are from Finland? Great reaction. Cheers from Canada
The sound of the drums but that dude kicked in with the accordion ahaha
Seen these guys live. Awesome performers and show. Only band with their stage energy and enjoyment I saw is/are Presidents of the United States of America (seen them many times and always an awesome show)
