Functional neurological disorder Is an accurate description for what many people with these conditions experience.. not realizing that’s it’s’just’ perceived danger signals.
Sorry you had to go through these difficult years David !
So happy for you that you found your way out!❤
I had this with my fybromyalgia diagnosis

The one thing that became so important in my journey is to learn that rest is allowed for life balance. I don't believe i am limited, but i do honor rest! Naps are wonderful and add to my day! Just like exercise. Great job, David!
Congratulations David so happy for you you are a Hero thank you for sharing your story i can relate so much sending you much love and success ❤😁😘🇱🇺🥳🥳🥳🥳
These success stories are inspirational and helpful. There is a way out and we can all get there.
GREAT ATTITUDE
That young man described me exactly. Still trying to recover but that was great.
If he can do it, we can do it!
To go from where he was to going back to the gym is a massive achievement. So proud as a fellow Londoner ! I can really see him being a coach in this area. Super perceptive and insightful. It was so nice to see David's face light up when he recalled going for a walk in the woods for the first time :-)
Excellent success story that I am sure so many, myself included, can relate to. This stuff works and David is proof!
I found what works for me is sitting with the symptoms and just saying..”Let Go” and relaxing as much as I can..and focusing on my breathing. 😊❤
David thank you so much. Your journey is so similar to my own. I am still teaching my brain but really resonate with your steps & methods for guiding your way through to reliving your life. You are bringing such hope, light & reassurance to many of us listening by sharing your story. So happy for you that you made it. Bless you for being so open & honest. Have a wonderful rest of your life. Thank you Dan for posting & for all your comments of confirmation. 😀
Congratulations on your recovery David, as a fellow Londoner the corner shop explanation made me laugh 😂😂 this gives me hope for my own fibromyalgia / CFS healing journey, thank you for sharing your story 😊
Good description of "prediction disconfirmation". So happy for you David!
I live in Islington, I think you're pretty near. Epping forest is a place I really want to revisit. (not sure if that's the place you were on about, but if it is, and I get there, I'll look out for ya😂 not been there for years)
Thank you for sharing your story.
Love the "bear" story. Wishing you a healthy happy future. 👏
Thanks Dan for all you do for us 🙏
Thank you David for sharing your journey it was Amazing how you came thru to a Painfreeyou! Acceptance and Engaging in life is key! So happy for you enjoy a wonderful life! 🙏♥️
Thankyou for sharing your story David. I can relate to much of your journey. You are right that gathering evidence is key in recovery. It helped me a lot in my recovery. Glad you are back out living your life.
I Can totally relate to what he is saying about pushing the body and telling the brain your in control, after being diagnosed with FND, anxiety has taken over but I am slowly taking control of it and most the symptoms have calmed down i make sure I get up and and have a routine even on those tough days
Thank you for sharing, David, and for posting this video, Dan! I've just started on my journey within the past week but my partner pointed out that I am smiling, laughing, and making jokes again...already! So when you both explain that this is evidence that my brain is already feeling safer I find this so encouraging and exciting! It increases my joy and hope. I've been struggling with pain and other symptoms for about 20 years but am feeling changes in my body and emotions/mental state so quickly. Evidence again. I am so grateful for this information that you share, Dan. I have a lot to look forward to! How wonderful.
David, thank you so much for sharing your journey so beautifully. So much i can understand. Helps us all to keep moving forward in a positive way ❤
At some point I used to watch terminal illnesses testimonials , etc and I started suffering from the same symptoms pertaining to such disease. (Psychosomatic) My primary care physician suggested fibromyalgia. I developed twitching, spasms, cramping, involuntary movements in my feet, arms all due to fear. After I don’t know how many Ct scans I realized that it was time to detox my mind. (Yes, that means no googling) During my anxiety anything and everything I looked for was related to this rare and incurable disease I made up in my head. With that said, anything I googled was linked to cancer, I believe I had brain cancer, multiple sclerosis, you name it correlation does not equal causation. Headache can be because you’re already experiencing a cold or stress, etc but since our brain perceives danger we’re internalizing feelings of distress . The brain looks for what kind of information is crucial to reach our consciousness. If someone feels sick they should see their doctors and believe in what the doctor is saying, but the brain needs reassurance thinking that such disease is undetected and maybe they missed something in the tests. This is an excellent video, the anxiety cycle and cycles never end unless we stop patterns.
Thank you so much David for your story. I am on the road to being free of chronic pain. Your story is super positive and really helps other people like me to keep going. Take care and have a blessed life. Thank you to Dan for all your hard work. You are making a huge difference to a lot of people ♥️🙏
Thank you both! So nice to hear these stories, no matter how many I’ve listened to. Happy you are on the other side.
Right now, I am in a little dip. Im finding the dips hard after starting to get back out living and doing better …. Advice ?
Advice for the over halfway mark ….
I so understand that! I always just honored my body and rested as needed and being kind made the dips so much quicker to pass. Xo
@@Octaviacliosisley thank you for your reply and relating . It’s so helpful. Do you feel better ?
that was a beautiful interview. you are both such lovely people. thank you for sharing your story.
Well done David on your journey back. Thank you Dan, I look forward to my daily dose of your words of wisdom! I really wish I knew how to start engaging in life without it being a case of one step forwards, two steps back all the time. Any suggestions?
Awesome success story ! Thank you David for sharing !
Thank you David for sharing your amazing journey to Pain Free You. 💕
David said it exactly - if you keep ignoring one symptom, the body comes up with another to make you more scared - this is exactly how I felt! Like okay, I don't know this one, I know it now, what is next? :D :D :D And it went worse and worse and worse untill I found the root cause and addressed it. Then things started to improve but still, the symptoms were there, something every day. So now working on making my brain uderstanding that this danger is being taken care of by herbs, so it can be calm and trust we will be fine :)
Great story tho!
Thank you both 🙏
David congratulations! So happy you found your way back to life! I agree, acceptance is key and learning bit by bit what works for us personally. It's different for all of us. Thank you for sharing your story - all these stories help so many people on their recovery journeys.
Thanks for sharing this. Seeing people heal is the most important thing for me!
Great story, thank you!

Thanks Dan for your amazing videos. The success stories out here are amazing! Thanks David Kamara for your story it has resonated with so many folks.
Tuning in from Nairobi.
#TMS.
I am so happy for you enjoy your life !!
Thanks so much David. I have pretty much all of the same sensations, issues. I know exactly when it started and why. It’s been challenging getting past this. I make progress then I fall back into old ways.
Thanks for sharing, amazing story
Sounds like CBT to change your perspective.
Terrific video!
Is there any contact of David Kamara?
Where does he mention throat symptoms?
7:00 into the video.
FND can come with a prescription, that's the difference from PDP TMS.
Mean medication?
I don't know why, but all the great stories I have seen till now, seems a lot lesser than mine...that I'm a lost case and I even almost feel some type of envy of the people that tell their sagas and odyssys to overcome pain...I mean, I would like some much to be them telling the way they overcame pain - sorry this childish remark
Same
You're both wrong. There have been people that have gone through much worse than this video. You haven't seen Dan's other videos or other TMS recovery stories. People completely disabled, bed bound 24/7, pain 24/7, feeling like dying, and they heal from TMS by following these simple principles of safety
RAPID NRF cures FND
Was is that??
