IME Module Update Procedure: Hertz Donut MK3, Industrial Music Electronics & The Harvestman Modules

- Here we go over the process of updating your IME modules. The process is the same for all current IME and most of the previously released modules under The Harvestman name.
This process requires a computer with the MPLab IPE software installed and a
PICKit 3 or 4 programmer available here:

Yes. This was way easier than updating Muxlicer. (no complaints about module but that firmware took half a day to troubleshoot)

Your PICkit 3 firmware version 00.00.00 is too old. You must have firmware version 01.26.10 or higher to use MPLAB X.

Don't understand why it is necessary to put sound effects with instructions on how to update firmware. I just want to listen to the instructions.
Could you please update this video? When opening the MPLAB X IDE 6.00 Software, there is no window with family etc. This is really a pain in the ass..
lol. Maybe that's because he said in the video to use the MPLAB IPE software and not the MPLAB IDE ? There is indeed no "family" option in the IDE software... no need to update the video... just listen or read carefully (because the .txt that comes with the firmware is crystal clear on this topic).
