Alright! first of course, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to all our kalimba partners for providing us these kalimbas. If you have noticed, there has been an influx of kalimba reviews and unboxing contents which was made possible by our dear kalimba providers who are passionate in sharing their platform.
Many of you have been asking to see my kalimba collection, and my dear Kalimbuddies, Momma heard you. ;)

That's my favorite feature, having it personalized correctly. 😂
Did you know there are robin birds where I live? 🐦 In fact,
They're the state bird of Wisconsin. 😎 The most beginner friendly
And best kalimba to play is probably a personalized one,
Because a kalimba that's "made for you" can make the experience
More enjoyable, since using such an instrument is more fun. 😁
For someone starting out, that detail might make all the difference.

Woaaah! I never knew that! I think it's cool that the robin is the state bird of Wisconsin. 🥰
Definitely LingTing for me. Sound, resonance, truly good wahwah and vibrato capabilities, sandalwood, craftsmanship quality of LingTing, no "dead" tines in upper notes, tremolo chain. Also the tines are not engraved. (Very important for me. If I change tunings, or the type of tablature I am using, I can mark the tines with Sharpie as needed, then wipe the ink off with alcohol pad when I want to use another tuning. Without engraved tines, there is no visual distraction. I only see and use what I need, in the way I have chosen and customized for myself in the tuning I'm using. Makes the kalimba more versatile and easier to play in different tunings without confusion of contradictory markings.)

I prefer the Quokka Tunes kalimba...but I cannot purchase this in KSA. I already tried several times in Amazon US but there is always a problem, the order didn't go thru. Hopefully I will find the right kalimba for me here and learn to play especially during this times.

I own three hollow kalimbas: JDR 17-key in C, Hugh Tracey Alto 15-key in G, Hugh Tracey Treble 17-key in B-flat. My favorite is the Hugh Tracey Alto in G. I used to own a Ubblove 17-key in C but gave it to a friend who is a trained music therapist.

I’m thinking of getting the Lingting K17G. I am trying to decide with EQ or No EQ. Is there much of a difference in tonality when not plugged in, and how much of a difference does it make in volume?

I have one and it's actually a microphone inside of the instrument and it's not nearly as good as holding it near a microphone that is outside of the instrument
It's not nearly as clean sounding as having a microphone outside of the Kalimba the so-called EQ is actually a small microphone inside the hollow body and they are a little bit clicky sort of

I have 1 generic hollow kalimba.type mahogany.the sound was so louder,so sometime i use it.because i like more flat kalimba😘.i like brand From lingting but in this video i think the best hollow issssssssssssssssssss ofcourse The winner is Lingting🤩

Sorry but pls help me with this. I'm a beginner and I've found myself a sheet of my fav song. In the sheet, it's noted that I need to tune C5 -> C5#. I don't know how to tune, pls help me.
Hammer it from the bottom to push the note up from C to C#. :)
