I used to travel a lot for work, so I learned how to pack fairly lightly, especially using small containers like this. One of my friends brings full size everything. Her bags were so dang heavy!! My “go” bag was always ready and had a hot air styler and a curling iron. (Duplicates of what I have in my bathroom drawer.) I still keep that bag ready, even though it’s been about 20 years since I had that job. 🙂

Welcome to GA with its summer time challenges for both hair and makeup! Even north of ATL, we’re setting all sorts of records for high temps and humidity. But at least after weeks of 90+ we are finally getting some much needed rain. Love the neutral eye look in this video and will look forward to seeing a tutorial. Enjoy your time here!

ha! so timely. just got back from 3 weeks away. here's what i learned...travel helps you to focus on what you really, really, really need/like, want...i.e. what actually works. (so much xtra stuff we have at home...) pared down to TWO ONLY for morning and two only for evening facecare. an oil and a lotion for body. shampoo and conditioner...all fit in quart bag. and enjoy dry wax packaged into a smaller pot as you do. 😊

Love your tips. I pack most of my makeup in my carry on bag I'm just nervous about my luggage getting lost. Heaven forbid if I didn't have my makeup Yikes lol😅. I also can totally relate to not knowing what I put in those little jars. Have a great trip!😘
I use the airless pumps for foundation and other products but the biggest problem I have is cleaning it. I wish the bottom was removable so that I would have better access for cleaning. Have a great trip! Love the makeup look- tutorial please😊💕

I have so many little travel containers, and makeup bags, but I love how you were able to get at least a weeks worth of so many products into such a convenient, compact set of travel bags. Oh my gosh, you just described my life. I have just returned from a three week trip, different hotel every night, and I minimized - so I thought. It's a challenge for sure, thank you so much for the tips and tricks!

Great video! Where in Georgia will you be going? I live in Midland, GA (just outside of Columbus GA) & I will be traveling to see my brother in late September. He lives in Ventura, CA. Your tips really helped me. I always have way too many products, shoes & clothes. I need to plan ahead & know for sure what I am taking. Just like you, I want options... & sometimes options for my options!!! Praying for safe travels & a wonderful time with your brother & his family!
I wear disposable contacts so I have had emergent sets stashed in so many different locations AND I worry that if I can’t wear my contacts( eye splash at work etc..) I have several pairs of eye glasses also in various locations!😂 I use a large locker at the gym just to hold all of my emergency items. I tell people it is from my training as a Girl Scout to always be prepared.😀. Thanks for sharing your information.

Thanks so much for an AWESOME video! I wash my makeup brushes at LEAST once a week, using Mary Kay® Makeup Brush cleaner... it has a mild scent, it *works* and it's reasonably priced!

To me, this is my favorite makeup look you’ve worn in all the videos I’ve seen. The ones I don’t care for are the pink eyeshadows . You can pull them off better than most people, though.

OMGoddess! As a makeup guru myself, I found myself wanting to speak in my hubby’s voice & remind you (me) of extra fees for luggage weight >50#. On a recent trip we removed my makeup kit & made the wgt limit.
Packing right now for a 10 d cruise… not taking 1/8 as much as you are showing. Saving room for shopping 😂.

I try to reduce packing to a simple level. Vacation for me is a time for self care and just giving myself a little break from everything, including routine make up application, because I do that every day for work. For me travel bottles and minimal makeup. Have a great trip, breath and kick back and relax.
I recently duplicated all of my toiletries and have a travel-ready toiletries bag always refreshed and packed. I put liquids and creams/ conditioner, etc into contact lense containers. Also, saturate cotton circles with makeup remover and put in a ziplock. They are now wipes and don’t need to go in the liquids bag.

I am tempted to leave my makeup at home especially if it’s a short trip and just take a sunscreen moisturiser lipstick shampoo toothpaste and deodorant. Much as I love my makeup it’s all extra weight and packing

What do you suggest is a wonderful travel organizational kit for all makeup now? I’d love to have everything together without it getting ruined. Love the pink case you suggested in the notes, however it is not available now.
Thank you for another great video. I assume you are packing all your products in your check in bag because the TSA allows only what fits in a quart sized bag in the carry on.

I love your eye makeup in this video. Can you share the products and maybe a video on how you get that look. I love all your makeup videos but I tend to use more brown and never know what to mix to get the look you are wearing. I also love your haircut and will be sharing with my hairstylist. Hopefully he will be able to cut my hair like yours. I have a longer pixi but need the layers to get the look that you have. I have very thick wavy hair and it makes me crazy.

Can you recommend a foundation or CC cream that would have coverage for acne scarred skin? I’m 55 with scarring, normal to oily skin.

Hmmmm NOT allowed to have aerosols on aircraft 😬. Or anything over 100ml/oz.
I have packed big cans of aerosol hairspray multiple times and it has never been a problem with the airlines.
