Great playing, abdding additional joy to this Fourth of July. I got interested in picking up the guitar again. I will be back to see the guitars you display. They seem to be in my price point.
Leo and Patrick, you guys produce one of the best guitar Reviews/Demo's on UA-cam. That we get such good info. and playing in one video...every time, is amazingly. Thanks also, Patrick, for such great views of Leo's fretboard prowess, wow, I learn so much from them. I've been working my way backwatds and I'd like to make a suggestion. I feel Leo's Jams chould be edited and uploaded with fade outs at the end, and posted on UA-cam, and if you get permission from the tracks' editors, uploaded to Spotify or SoundCloud. That could potentially add your reach and income. Personally, I'd buy this music, it's that good.
I've got a Squier Telecaster Classic Vibe 50, I wish I could make it sound like that. Great video, I like the close ups on the fretboard, great playing, awesome sound. Are you using any pedals or effects? Thanks.
Thanks very much for watching and for your kind comments and question. I (Leo Ryan) am using a Samsung Galaxy S21 with 3 rear facing 8K cameras to record our videos. Dan was originally using a Fender Mustang GT 100w modeling amp, but we've recently exchanged it for a Fender Mustang LT25 modeling amp. We don't use pedals (because they're built into the amp). Thanks again 😉👍!
Speak up, brother. I bought my son the very same guitar for $218.00 a couple of years ago. Aside from slicing my finger open on a fret, it plays wonderfully and is the guitar I tend to pick up when I want to play. Highly recommend. Just do some fret edge work before playing.
Thanks very much again for watching John and for your kind comments. I like this one. It's like you said the Tele I tend to pick up. Just so you know, the "mission " of this channel is "can you play it right out of the box?" If it takes fret work, then you could slice a finger 😜.
Thanks very much Rodentcafeteria for watching and for your kind question. It's funny you should ask, because I'm pretty sure that this was a bullet Telecaster and it has a string through body, we did an Affinity Telecaster a couple of months later and it was a top loader. So "Yessireebob " she's a string through 😎👍!
Thanks very much for watching and for your kind comments and question. This guitar is very inexpensive, and it's a Harley Benton. Harley Benton guitars are imported from Germany and shipping is a bit high (about $72) but the good news is that it's the same for two guitars as for one so I always purchase two guitars. This is the Tele with the best bones, totally gigable right out of the box: ua-cam.com/video/A0mp9mcQ4Ss/v-deo.htmlsi=lkcnAskJFIDaS4G-
@@leodanryan966 Thanks for answering, gentlemen. I just checked and the shipping is up to 84 on a 140 guitar, so I'll probably pass. I really want something that sounds like a classic tele, and has indiv. saddles for each string, and a non-maple fingerboard. There is a customer-return Squier Affinity for 190, but not sure if it is the way to go. I prefer not to have to do any upgrades. You gents might want to check out a Jackson JS22 Dinky. Normally 200, picked one up for 140 new. Now one of my favorites. The pickups are hot, ceramic and they are very sweet when dialed down. Also love the compound radius neck on the Jacksons. Mine required no work out of the box and all I did was change the strings.
@@leodanryan966 Looks like HB now sells on reverb in USA. Prices are higher with free shipping, so it comes out the same, more or less. They are offering a 30 day return.
Leo - Feel better ASAP Pardner! We'll all look forward to catching up with you again soon, when you're back on your feet. That's a killer deal! These little Squier Bullets are a lot of fun, and I get it. It's not a Fender American. But yeah - you can have a ton of fun with these, and I love them. Fun to mod and mess with. And they play decent, once you get them set up right. I have the butterscotch with maple board. And a gorgeous Lake Placid Blue (Special run on the Bullet Tele). Swapped the necks, and put the maple one on the Blue body. Oh boy! That baby is flat-out gorgeous, and it plays like a dream. I set it up, filed the fret-ends a bit... and man is it a player. And a looker. But yeah - these are really fun guitars. You stole it at $150!
Excellent playing and sound. I'm very tempted on buying one of these Yellow Bullet Tele's even though I do have a American Pro Tele. Your guitar sounds amazing.👍👍👍👍
First of all, Leo, hope you are feeling better. 🌼🌸🌼🌸 Nice filming, Patrick! 👏👏👏👏 Every time I am here for the unboxing is to listen to Dan's guitar performance. His guitar playing is absolutely amazing. Nevermind which guitar was that, with his fantastic skills, wonderful sound was guaranteed. I think it's just like knitting. With the skills, no one knows the quality of the needles. They can just see a beautiful sweater. Have a lovely Sunday and a great week ahead, Leo, Dan and your family! 💖🌼 Like #38 was from me.
Thanks very much John for watching and for your kind opinion, but in my brother's case I'm glad he can play just about anything with 6 strings on it, otherwise the channel may not be as interesting 😎👍!
Hope Leo is back fighting fit as soon as possible. Patrick did a superb job... Fantastic Dan as always, as you know, I love a blackguard. 🙂 Take care you guys.. 🙏🥰
Patrick, thank you for the close up fretboard work Dan is doing . Note his right arm is locked in place ,his wrist provides the articulation .. This is kind of important in my humble opinion especially w finger picking as I've seen you do .... great footage and content by all .. Hope Leo gets well soon .

Once again… blown away at what you can make a $150 guitar do! ‘It screams! It cries! It sulks!’ Awesome work again Dan, you’re an inspiration! Thanks for the videography Patrick, my best to your pops. Mark A
Thanks very much Ben for watching and for your kind question, normally I'd pass it along to Dan, but since it's my amp I can confidently answer this one. It's a Fender Mustang GT 100 modeling amp. We only use "Basic Clean for clean tones and Boosted Brit for Dirty tones 😉👍!
Really great playing to backing track!
