My biggest complaint with shields in Elden Ring is that you can't use weapon greases on them.
I want to set a wooden shield *on fire* and then bonk someone with it repeatedly until one of us stops committing alive.

33 minutes in and surprised you didn't snag the spiked greatshield instead of elmer's shield and just put shield crash on it. Shield crash is actually OP for status shields.
Update: 42 minutes in and he finds out about shield crash 😂
