- So we’ve ordered in our new #R1300GS but first of all we have a new #M1000R arriving with us this week. But here’s a quick run down of the products I can’t live without on my #R1250GSA
Why, on the new 1300GS are the additional fog lights £390 on the base model, but cost £562 if you want to put them on the TE version ??? Check out the UK configurator
I like the green un best..sadly all reviews in the next few weeks will be identical with reviewers wetting themselves and they won’t be very constructive/critical guarantee won’t hear a bad review as they won’t want to get on BMW’s bad side…. will take one out in the spring as long as they haven’t ruined the riding pos and comfort with a view to buy autumn next year
The new gs 1300 looks 🤢🤢
But hey good video Mike from Luxembourg
The reason inmates are already emailing you is because, you are the foremost authority on BMWs. I will never order anywhere else. I promote A BIKE THING at every BMW dealer I visit in the US. They are starting to warm up to you!
What a lovely thing to say. Good job I have other people who I surround myself with who keep my ego in check 😂
Slovenia is lovely. Sounds like an amazing road trip. I plan on doing something similar in my campervan soon.
On the double take mirror i put adjustable spot mirrors on mine which lets me see blind spots the double take mirror alone dont see
Agreed but I don’t personally want something to replace a life saver shoulder glance.
I have it on good authority that the electronic system is the same,
Ask your dealer if the box of new service tools and procedures delivered is large or small
If this is true it’ll be great news all round as it means we’ll be able to test the ezcan very quickly. However, BMW started to delete the auxiliary TPS (RDC) box from 2022 and integrate into the ECU which means there a strong possibility they will delete the TPS plug on the R1300. If this is the case, Hex will need to create a new ezcan for the R1300GS just because it’ll need a different plug and socket on it to access the canbus at a different point on the bike.
@@ABIKETHING not going to drop anyone in the 💩but they’re pretty sure having been sent out for training.
The canBUS in lay term it’s like a real bus when on the bus you can see everything on the bus, it’s also why (from a theft and cost perspective) all manufactures want to limit the bus and put everything into the ECUs. IMHO the RDC is used because it’s accessible for the DIY but there’s other bus options and the programming might need a new bus stop 🚏
Does this mean your parting with the triple black?
No part ex taking place
Did you have any issues with the levers in Germany? They don’t like non ECE certified stuff! (Same for Switzerland I guess).
What a great road-trip! I was meant to do France, Italy, Slovenian, Austria, Switzerland and Belgium last year, but couldn’t… looking forward to do it next year 2-3 weeks.
Good ride!
No issues but I didn’t get stopped. I guess I need to be stopped for the police to take notice.
@@ABIKETHING 😂 Yes indeed you would! ✌️
Whats ur helmet ?
Waiting for your r1300 content 😂
It’s a Nexx X WED2. We stock and sell them on the website.
What is it about the levers that make them so good
I genuinely can’t explain it. You can just feel the quality and the improvement above the stock levers. My mate a similar style on his bike but they’re cheap versions. The adjustability is very fine increments and easy to adjust on the fly….stock ones are not. The indexed style clicks of the wheel are a pleasure to adjust. You don’t need them…..but you’ll want them when you’ve tried them
