    How to deal with strong cup please explain this topic

  • @irfankhan-dt3vv
    @irfankhan-dt3vv Рік тому +1

    Hello Mr Bob please make a video on what actually backpressure is? Is pulling back through my bicep strength is backpressure or dragging back my elbow through my Lats is backpressure?

    • @Day-ZDuke
      @Day-ZDuke Рік тому +1

      I think it’s basically both
      Ideally, “back pressure” is what it says it is, pressure pulling backwards, which means towards yourself, away from your opponent
      So it depends on the movement that’s happening, but fully engaged backpressure would ideally mean both your bicep and lat are engaged and pulling towards you. Differnt movements would require more bicep or more lat drag, depending what you are trying to accomplish

    • @irfankhan-dt3vv
      @irfankhan-dt3vv Рік тому +1

      @@Day-ZDuke yeah I also think that but some armwrestlers on youtube are says that backpressure is only dragging elbow through lats

    • @Day-ZDuke
      @Day-ZDuke Рік тому

      @@irfankhan-dt3vv ah okay I see. Well I guess it just depends on how technical people want to get about it
      Cause I can understand why they say it’s only when dragging the elbow through the lat, because that’s the only part that’s ‘moving’ during the technique, but it still requires bicep engagement to keep the stability of the movement overall
      Like I wrote though, I think it depends on the scenario and what exactly you are trying to accomplish / what movement you’re trying to counter. So hopefully Bob will answer with more clarity! Lol cause he obviously has much more knowledge about it

    Would love to see Bob do a breakdown of ermes vs debon

    That's so wierd to me that what Paul is doing is a high hand top-roll like Bob Brown identifies. That looks so much like a high hand hook move to me, even more so with the starting supination that is suggested. Leave it to Bob to make you question everything you think you know about armwrestling 💪🤯👍
