Great reviews there Karina! Loving the soft furnishings of all these models, extra cushions too which is good! People opposite have got a Bailey, a nice big one! There are a lot of people round here that have a MH or a caravan on the drive! Lucky buggers! Anyway, good to see you. I'll only be going on the Saturday to the Nec, too much for me now! Poor old sod!! Take care both xxx
Morning Anne, thanks for watching and I hope one day you manage to get a caravan or camper. I think Andrew is going Saturday, I think I will be heading home Friday but will see. Have a lovely week 😊
Thanks for watching.. I know, but I think you can buy one from Prima Leisure as an extra. But at this price I wouldn’t want to have to start spending more on added worktop space personally 🤔🤷🏼♀️😊
@@HereWeTow Yes, they're an extra £100, but we found ours worth the money. Bailey are not the only manufacturer doing this, I think it's a bit of an earner for them.
What are your thoughts Karina 🤔. Personally, especially with the Brindisi, we think there's missed opportunities and an overall downgrade from the Grande SE. On the plus side we love the new graphics and the move of the hookup to the service side but it's far too close to the front of the caravan. Does that mean the battery has moved from under the bed floor to a less favourable location. Glad the spare is still under slung. For us the loss of the G shaped lounge to a more Buccaneer type layout is a downgrade. Yes you get the option of a 32" TV on the wall compared to a max 27" in the SE Brindisi but you loose so much light. The Buccaneer has that lovely stargazer roof. The under bed table is a missed opportunity. We took ours out on day 1 and its still in storage in the house. It's the wrong location, seriously heavy and just clumsy to handle. Great to see the wireless charger but hope all the lights have usb as we had to upgrade. Flat panel solar... mmmm not so sure as it reduces air flow on the panel. Maybe great for trickle charge in storage but is it efficient enough for sustainable off grid? 🤔 Some great accessories and we Personally like the direct link with prima but how are we doing for payload. Even with an upgrade on the SE Brindisi the payload isn't fantastic and miles different from what you can expect in caravans from Swift. I'm sure they will sell really well but on overall reflection we're glad we opted for the SE. 😊
Thank you for watching and I am sure they will sell well to their target audience. Right now I think the effect of prices will come in to affect for many buyers and caravans will need to offer value for money again. The new graphics are nice, I think your SE will do you well for many years yet. Happy touring and take care 😊
There are UK dealerships that do export caravans around the world so it is possible. You would need to email Bailey of Bristol and they can point you in the right direction. Thank you for watching 😊
Another brilliant video you do reviews so well! Love them but please tell Bailey the front inside wall looks awful and unfinished without curtains on the side windows and would actually stop me buying one, bedroom curtains in all of the models are gorgeous starting higher up but they’ve made a mistake on the front. Im sure a few will like it but many more won’t . Agree the purple interior is the nicest, really lovely 😢x
Thank you for watching and hopefully they will read the comments. In the live last night someone else commented about the lack of curtains. Maybe that could be on the options list..curtains or no curtains.. Lets see what happens on that front.. have a lovely day and enjoy the warm weather 😊👍
We have a 2022 Brindisi, bought sight unseen during lockdown after one of your excellent and thorough reviews. The 2024 model has some good touches, chiefly being a wider bed. But I'm deeply disappointed to see the end of the G-shaped lounge with its handy table in favour of the latest-fad TV wall, as well as the replacing of cupboard space with less useful shelving. Another minus IMO is the replacement of DAB radio with decent speakers with the Sonos streaming unit. Our Brindisi has a surprisingly good-sounding stereo (particularly after the execrable stereo in our previous Swift), and our experience with trying out an Amazon Echo Dot was frustrating with regards to connectivity. Given the expense/quality of wifi on many sites, and the trouble we had using iPhone as a hotspot, these might not be the jump forward they seem.
Thank you for watching and for a great owners comment. I was surprised the G shape has gone. A few others have said the same as you. Time will tell if it makes a comeback 🤷🏼♀️ Interesting to hear your thoughts on the speaker too. Enjoy your Bailey and have a lovely week 😊
Have they done away with the G shape seating for the grande range? Or is this just in the 75th anniversary models, i currently have a messina and cannot believe they have changed to straight seating in the front, the g shape seating is revolutionary….. or should i say was?
Well i think bailey might loose a lot of sales based on this, or do they plan on offering the G shape in the models higher up, the g shape seating vans were very good sellers, so much so they seem to hold their value pretty well used, I can imagine they took sales away from the Alicanto range, so my guess is bailey will offer the G shape seating in higher models possibly.
Nice video, love EU campers. What's weird is in EU the camp side of RV is on right side of RV, whereas in NA it's left side of RV. So we enter from the left side of the camper which is the camp side meaning tables and fire pit side
By 'NA', I presume you mean North America. I'm not sure I understand your point. First of all, on continental Europe, the entrances to motorhomes/caravans are on the right hand side and in the UK, Ireland, Malta, they would be typically on the left hand side. In each instance, the entrance is determined by whether the country is either left-hand traffic (LHT) or right-hand traffic (RHT). I.e., that the entrance be on the kerbside for safe entry if stopping on the side of the road. Campsite layouts typically match the main motorhome/caravan configuration. Furthermore, the EU is not a synonym for Europe or European. Even though I would prefer that the UK had remained in the EU, the reality is that the UK, Norway, Switzerland and a few other countries are not members of the EU. Also, all of the North American RVs (motorhome and caravan) sold here in Japan have the entrance on the right side and not on the left as you state.
Thank you for watching and I think Andrew has covered it quite well below about how we have it in the UK and that it is different in the EU. Generally its doors on the left, or nearside in the UK. Have a lovely week and I still love the US RV vehicles 😍😊
@@andrewjones-productions I mainly watch NA UA-cam channels and UK, but they usually cover Italian and German made RV'S. Not sure why it makes a difference which side is camp side based on the drivers side But to each their own.
It's a shame how the Pegasus range has reduced significantly and there's signs of bailey cutting back and theres missing parts to the vans you'd expect for the peice such as extended kitchen worktop. Great reviews btw!
Thank you for watching and yes, I would expect the worktop extension as standard..not an added cost extra..I am sure they will still be very popular. Have a good week 😊
They're a nice improvement on last years models. Nice exterior colours and interior wood. Not sure about purple on the main fabrics. Should be kept neutral and colour added with accessories. Not keen on the top loading washing machine in the van either. Not sure what it is about Baileys, they always look and feel lower quality than other brands. Nice vans but not for me.
The pegasus grande bologna se lovely caravan but check the tyres for age and get step ladders have a look at the Finnishof the roof bailey's are not the best at checking Finnish not the best company to deal with if you have a problem and your appliance are only one year warranty
An enjoyable upload Karina & Jules of the Bailey range, I’m still happy with my choice of van.
Thank you for watching Roy and I agree with you on that one.. have a lovely day 😊
Great review , just found your channel and it is excellent.

great review Karina, the Messina I really liked, and the purple colour was the better one of the two.
Thank you for watching.. nice new colours for 2024..I am sure they will be popular 😊👍
Great reviews as always. I was surprised that with these big vans Bailey haven’t put in pop up worktop extensions in the kitchens.
