I just subscribed after watching another video about the cost of living in Tanzania. This is a fantastic video. Lol lol I'm hollering at the life coach. I've spent the last 30 years as a hair stylist aka pseudotherapist lol. Since the pandemic I became a full time student. I am an English major with a dream of just being paid to tell my stories. If 🌴 beach is your favorite then Dar es Salaam, Tanga whilist Lindi and Mtwara are located in the South. So if your budget is limited I would recommend Tanga a city near to Dar as well as near to Arusha but Lindi and Mtwara are very far

Sometimes yes, but not always with regard to power outages. Things are getting better, there is a new mega power project going on, we hope it will solve these issues. For both power and internet speeds, it also depends on where you are in Tanzania and the kind of connection (there is fiber to home and GSM as the most common, fiber is much faster but not mobile) with regard to the internet. If you are within the major cities (Dar es Salaam, Arusha, Mwanza, Mbeya, Tanga, Dodoma, Moshi, etc) you are okay. I am a resident of Dar es Salaam and a Tanzanian citizen.
Oh I wanted to ask, I was told that living in Arusha (where we will be moving) that the internet is extremely high (slow and or expensive,) and may be harder for online business, which of course then discouraged me. We are in Dar es Salaam. It’s a large city so the Internet is good. I’m not sure about Arusha. I could see that being an issue but I honestly don’t know.
Hello, I am a Tanzanian, I grew up in Arusha and I currently reside in Dar es Salaam. I am an ICT/Telecom engineer by profession and have worked with one of the major telecoms ISP's in the country for more than ten years (not working with them anymore). Arusha is the third-largest city in Tanzania, it is also the home of several international and regional institutions. The company that I worked for does have several high-value customers in that region who are afforded very good internet speeds by the provider. One thing that many people don't know is that there are different packages and connections for internet services, you can even subscribe for dedicated services which is so much different (with regard to speed) compared to the limited bandwidth services.
U guys are doing a wonderful job at helping brothers & sisters and i commend u for it but im just waiting for u to respond to my NUMEROUS messages and emails. As i've told u before, my family & I are already here in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania....i've been asking u about the Israelite community here and where they congregate on Shabbat. My husband and I came from the states just a few weeks ago. Thank u again

Hello, I currently work remotely and wanted to find out how reliable is the internet? I’ve seen videos about the power and water being out for days on occasion. Does that happen with the Internet as well?
We haven't experienced the water being out at all, the power goes out for a few hours maybe once a week or once every two weeks. When that happens I just go work at the coffee shop. Internet is as stable as the US pretty much.
