I know wrestling isn’t supposed to be “deep”, but I grew up with a mom who struggled with substance abuse, and seeing Hangman toss the beer away and choose love instead just broke me. Thank God I was at home with people who understood why I was crying. That was a moment that I finally got from my mom as an adult, and it was deeply moving to see someone else make that same choice.

As someone who didn’t really follow AEW or especially BTE since the beginning, I knew there was a lot of history, but I resigned myself to knowing that I probably won’t see all of it from beginning to end just because I missed it. This might honestly be my favorite story in all of professional wrestling, I mean everything is here. Emotional highs and lows, incredible matches, deep and intricate characters that develop over time, and I could keep going. But the elements of mental health and alcoholism that are sprinkled throughout the story are what bring it home for me. Being a recovering alcoholic, seeing a story told so delicately and realistically about that type of struggle in my favorite form of entertainment is very cathartic for me. It makes me feel something, and I think that’s what great wrestling is suppsed to do.
Every time I see Hangman toss the beer away to embrace his friends in the Dark Order a tear comes to my eye. What a story, and what amazing performers we had to tell it to us.

In short words, the storyline can be described as "identity Crisis and the ways of redemption". Omega and page both faced same confidence issues in different times in their AEW run. They found different solutions of their problem. We can take the good from both their solutions and exclude the bad. We can learn a lot. Cuz in real life, we all face these problems

These videos were great, but I feel two great moments were missed. First was Hangman’s monologue in the forest. That was such a great moment for him and felt like one of the turning points in the story. The other was Matt going back to Hangman (during Kenny’s turn?),and seeing him happy with the Dark Order. Bucks were just as big part of this story as Kenny.

I started watching wrestling at 2003, I was 12 at the time, the first match I saw was the first even TNA ultimate X match. I loved it from the first moment. However, with wrestling your love changes. First its the fun and athletic abilities, maybe later its the heel turns or surprises. In the past 18 of watching there have been great wrestling years and not so great. I never thought wrestling can be what AEW has become. I didn't know of Adam Page before AEW, and frankly I didn't care until he made me care, but two years later I cared enough to do everything to see him lift the belt at Full Gear. I'm older now and my love for wrestling is different, I get invested in the people behind the characters. People that inspire me to chase my dreams. But one dream I never knew I needed was a dream to watch a wrestling company that gives us hope that 5 years from now, the show will be even better. AEW loves wrestling much like its fans do and I am glad to be part of the ride. Can't wait for some more Cowboy Shit

This was an absolutely phenomenal series about absolutely phenomenal storytelling in pro wrestling. Can't wait to see what's next for the creator(s) of this docuseries, as well as what's next for "Hangman" Adam Page, the Dark Order, and AEW. Thank you, and please keep up the great work!

I didn't know who Hangman was until the Press Conference to announce the very first All-In.
Since then, he's become a top favorite. As well as both Lucha Bros Penta and Fenix.
I found myself missing SCU after they recently broke up, and I never watched TNA or Impact except for a couple big events like ..."The Headbutt"...fkn chills there...
All Elite Wrestling truly is a company for fans of Professional Wrestling.
And you Sir, clearly love Professional Wrestling, and great storytelling.
    Thank you for this series.
Seeing Miro crying on the stage breaks me every time..dammit.

Reiterating what hundreds have already said, but you've done a phenomenal job putting this all together and constructed it in a way that brings on tears and goosebumps all at once. Amazing work.

Speaking as someone who wasn’t watching AEW for about half of this story (I started watching here and there when FTR showed up and a lot more after Punk showed up), and doesn’t keep up with BTE (not since the New Japan days at least), this series has been a fantastic telling of the story of Hangman Adam Page.
The music and editing here are phenomenal. A great promo package for their match at Full Gear. I wish I’d seen this first to understand the weight behind that match.

What a FANTASTIC job! So glad to see that even AEW/Hangman recognized your work, and hope that job offer is coming your way!

what a great series you have put together and truly highlights what the Bucks, Kenny, Adam, Tony and whoever was involved in telling this story. Not just a pro wrestling story, but, a truly cinematic story over the past few years. They really told a damn good Western

Long term booking is so rewarding in the end. This is probably the best series of wrestling on UA-cam. You deserve my respect for making this.

Such an incredible journey, amazing series! Hopefully Hangman’s shoutout will get you the proper recognition you deserve, as much as he did winning the title at Full Gear! Thankyou for this 💙

Thank you for piecing all this together and making a digestible form of media for the masses. This is the kind of thing I will point to in the future when people ask me why I get enjoyment out of wrestling as an adult. Hopefully some parts of this series will resonate within them so that they can understand what makes All Elite Wrestling the best Pro Wrestling company in the World; their storytelling and athletes.

wouldve been dope if you included their history in NJPW which completely connects to their AEW story.

So much emotion throughout all of this. Don’t think we’ll ever see a story like this in wrestling again.
On a separate note, that line from Kenny during the contract signing about “I don’t know if we’ll ever team again” was interesting. If/when the Bucks and Cole leave Kenny, it could be Hangman who helps him out and becomes his partner again.

Who says there are no faces and heels in wrestling anymore? Cowboy sh*t is the purest baby face to ever grace the wrestling industry.
    And, wonderful production!
