Stunning looking car... I go to see GT40`s race at The Goodwood Revival here in the UK... Absolutely awesome cars and they deserve all the podiums the get. And the sound. Oh My God... The sound they make when they are driven in anger is other worldly.❤🩹
this is my dream car or the Daytona you guys build i used to come around your Boise ID location aka 2007-8 smiling ear to ear looking at the chassis you had even got to see come corvettes n stuff in the back. it was awesome! i swear i will get one until then ill just squint really really hard when i get in my c6 and pretend its a datona haha🤣
I thought they were $20-$30,000 still but if it cost that much without an engine there’s no way I could buy one I could give you my entire fleet of cars and it wouldn’t make a dent in anything
I have a Superformance GT 40, a 2005 Ford Gt and a 2021 new Ford GT This is a strong statement on how good a design the GT 40 was as the following cars were based on the original car, looking similar to the GT 40, in other words gorgeous looking
You’ve got some cool things on your channel, although many are older ,you should have kept on posting as you had stuff to really catch viewers eyes and attention..need to do a bunch of driving and racing in your super car !
Makes me wonder why if they have been breaking trans axles they didn’t fix it long ago ? Or why they couldn’t be rebuilt at your local transmission shop there’s lots of great one ..
How do you title these cars? I live in New Jersey and I built a factory five cobra and since it was “specialty constructed” I had to jump through hoops and get it inspected to legally drive on the road.
Each chassis comes with a certificate of origin and we can talk you through the process of titling, we are not 100% sure about New Jersey but our experience is that it's very easy to title since the cars are built in a factory with a chassis/serial number assigned in the factory.
I'd like to know comparably how an upgraded gt40 like this one shown can compete with the average modern track car. I assume braking and shifting losses would be its only real disadvantage. Have looked for a good average track time to compare but haven't found.
You’re 100% right! This is actually the prototype housing, the production unit is rounded and we have a full video of the production piece coming out this weekend!
@@siu113not in one of them it isn’t lol..there’s a ton of cheap busa cars for sale ,but it wouldn’t be enough power for that car without turbos and by then it’s ruined ..
Nice!!! We can't wait to see it in person!
Which event are you planning to come to?

The sound and driving experience is truly intoxicating!

Well said!
I have 2115. How funny!
Also red & white.. tribute to the Gurney / Grant ‘66 LeMans car
Correct! We love a tribute paint scheme!

You had me at gold wheels.
We agree! The gold goes so well with the red livery!
Cockpit looks badass. Nice work. Functional art.
Thanks a lot!
I have seen this car race and the sound definitely catches attention!
Yes it does!
Vinny mentioned 👏
Vinny is the man! He represents the dedication of a Superformance owner, he was addicted from the day he got his first car.

Why no 427 side-oiler? Can you build one to accept that engine? PS, Never mind. I saw it is available for the 427 SO. Nice.
Glad that this info was there for you, the engine options are pretty wide in these cars!
Did you recreate the chassis as per the original or did you re-engineer it?
The Superformance GT40 chassis is very true to the original and shares MANY parts with the original cars from the 60's.
I WANT ONE!
This one is something truly special on the track and on the street.

We can pull some data from an Optima event to show times as they compare to some of our friend's more modern rides! Thanks for the suggestion!
Does anyone put the big blocks (460) in these? Does it fit?
An FE will fit in the Mk2 and is a popular option.
The camera bump design should be more rounded off i keeping with the design of the other scoups.

Beautiful vehicle. Could you please tell me the cost of that car?
This one is not for sale... but what would you offer?
@@downforce-motorsports Just like to know. My dream car is using hayabusa engine car
