  • I met these farmers today trying to find a route to their farm. It was the first time in nearly 2 weeks they had been able to drive close enough to see their farm, and see that most of it was starting to emerge from the flood water. Their attempt to reach the farm is filmed in this video.

@@ManJO601 what do you expect to happen when you drain a lake the size of vancouver and only rely on a pump system to keep the water at bay. And then the glorious idea to build a community in it, absolute genius idea. Now its gonna cost us billions to repair and that land is going to be FUCKED for years. Dont expect any crops to be grown there for a long time.

That's crazy, if you hit a washout or get hung up on hidden debris that drone can't fly you out. Looks like a long walk through an icy cess pool if you got stuck out there. I'd probably do the same thing though if it was my farm under water. I hope things dry out for you soon.

And i get mad at my hubby gir driving through big puddles... this is crazy! It's safe to say that person driving knows that road very well and so did the copilot. I don't know what i would do in their situation. A 500 year flood is not something that happens and i would feel desperate. I'm glad they tried and the drone got footage. I'm from WA and we too are getting all these atmospheric rivers, one after another. It was 70 degrees in Nov/Dec. I can't believe this weather. It used to be called the pineapple Express weather because all the warm moisture came from Hawaii. We get it every year but this one is very bad. I hope all are ok. Stay safe.

Door open to try and see the edge?… but also a good idea incase you go into a ditch or washed out section. Once water gets over the doors you will not open them until the water inside equalizes with the outside.
Is the emergency drone ban still in effect there? They’d cleared the airspace for rescue operations. What are you flying?

It's one hell of a mess, and this does not begin to describe their loves of rebuilding and recovery. The province and federal governments need to step yup to the plate, goodness knows they've spent enough on making sure a lot of people don't have to work, now they need to recognize people with real business interests and investments need the help. @@user-mp2tk3pw6j Hi, that's absolutely horrible but they were roman catholics!!! The Vatican is the whore of Babylon, see Revelation 17 and 18, they have nothing to do with biblical Christianity! You always have to differentiate between Christians in name only and born again Christians. Please get saved and give your life to JESUS CHRIST today!!! GOD bless you and your loved ones, Xander.
