This is the first time I've seen a quartet do a comedy bit where the baritone is the straight man and the other three do the weird stuff. Usually it's the other way around.
Main Street? It's always Myron (bass) and Tony (lead) dancing together awkwardly, though they sometimes drag Roger (their tenor) into their shenanigans too. Their baritone, Mike, is the choreographer for their group and is the best dancer out of all of them, so maybe that's why.
LOVE THIS!! Sad to not see them in the 10 this year, but will definitely be on the lookout for next year! That baritone entry at 4:24 is just so smooth and effortless; rounds of the performance perfectly :)
its actually crazy how, next to their performance the following year, this one sounds like garbage. it's balanced so poorly in comparison. jaxtq7 is inaudible even when hes the only one with a consistent vocal part and the chords are just really stilted and need a lot more 1. in the space of a year they basically perfected it and when from zero to hero as a result both in the eyes of the judges and the internet. incredible growth and it hasn't stopped getting better. love you all, seeing you live is on my bucket list
I think Ryan is just fascinating. There’s something really special about him.
That's why I'm a bit sad he left the group, but still glad he feels better
fr i think i'm in love
This comment didn’t age well

*freestyle flashbacks*
You're new here I see
@@ther.w.d.channel1501 Not remotely. It is genuinely uncommon for a quartet to do this.
@@elliottsmeds3488 no I know. I meant new to The Newfangled Four😂
1:41 - 2:04 is gold to me. Love watching Jake and Ryan go “hmm... nope.”
Real homies sing harmony for each other's arguments
3:59 you see Jake Tickner's Super Mario Impression...! Brilliant!
I love my four dads so much
The bari cranked the heck out of that 5 on the last chord.
i love how jake accidentally catapults himself to the side of the stage at the end
These guys BETTER make the top ten next year.
"Gotta get back to Georgia" I just got the joke. Im dying 😂
May I (ignorantly) asked for clarification?
I am rapidly becoming a fan of these kids. They should have made the 10 this year, but i'm glad they didn't. Their mike tests were great.
Love the baritone. And that tag! So great.💜
Why am I watching barbershop quartets at midnight
Round-midnight?
11:14 still counts
Because you really know how to live
Because it's The Newfangled Four. Duh😂
because you're not throwing away your shot
Such great singers - all 4 of them. Powerful, smooth and not shrill. Love this quartet!

Jackson's laugh at the end was so heartiful :)
the baritone is the best fite me over these precious Babs
If you put it on 2x speed it almost looks like a real dance.
It's also funnier
That was the best slow-motion barbershop I've ever seen! Really cool guys! :)
Hey! That's free spirit Joey!
Dang! They're just so clever!
This makes me happy
This is literally the besttttt
what a tag!!!!!
*looking at lemon squeezy* shots.fired.
Man that tag at the end,
Awesome!
Is pass me the jazz even barbershop, that was a lot funnier than I should've been
That choreography though.
The first bit sounds like the only "romantic" dance allowed at a school dance.
Ryan: "I hate you guys"
Me: Mood

Samuel Allison
You might want to specify what area if you want people in it to contact you.

They’re so much after lemon squeezy
"you just need a girl..."
well, there is the problem
I genuinely wonder whether Lemon Squeezy has seen this.
is ryan half filipino or something? kinda reminds me of nonito donaire.
Gotta get back to georgia??? Someone explain the joke please haha
Is it me or is that Ted mosby
