I have seronegative celiac disease (confirmed with Marsh 3 b atrophy). I have never been vaccinated and when my family got sick my transglutamine were slighty bit elevated. Is it possible that covid triggered iga with transglutamine production ?
I always been thinking the reason why I never got covid despite having many autoimmune conditions with a failute to make antibodies while having a strong eosinophilis reaction.

😕My Gawd, my Doctor does not advise me on any of this, I feel like I am on my own, completely on my own. I find out more by my own investigations.

@Butterfly-zs2pc - Perhaps you could heed Dr Glover's advice and get a second opinion from a teaching hospital with an IBD clinic and/or an immunology clinic. I have recently done this and feel more hopeful now as I am being worked up.

How can I access the article: Clinical Presentations, Diagnostic Considerations, and Therapeutic Options for Gastrointestinal Manifestations of Common Variable Immune Deficiency --without paying? I'd like to print it off and take to my doctor.

Hi there! The link to that article is in the video's description. Thank you for watching!

@staceybass5181 - I would like that article, too, but the link takes us to the abstract only; the full article costs $57. If you do not have that money to spare (I do not!), I have done this for other articles I wanted with great success. - - -
      1) Call your local hospital and see if they have a medical library and if they will give you an appointment to use it or will print the article for you. They may have full access to the journal through the internet if they do not subscribe to a print copy. If they don't have access or will not allow you to use the library, call another hospital. Be sure that you can provide all the article's details.
      2) The good old local public library and the research librarian - request the article through interlibrary loan. Give them the details so they can order it. It make take some time and may end up costing 3-4 dollars, though.
