Hi Guys. We visited 80 mile beach decades ago and it looks similar today as it did then. Regularly destroyed by cyclones. We swam there and then went fishing there. Caught small sharks off beach so yes not the best place to swim. Great drone photography captain jon. Hermit crab racing with kids at night. A great place to visit. Cheers from Adelaide

A nice place there, did you meet captain Billy who lives in the corner of the park in makeshift sea containers. He is in his 90s and was a part of the original road crew that built the highway and where he lives was where the camp was for the road workers and he never went home. No sure if he is still there he was last year.
