- We start this video in rainy Southampton before moving on to the beautiful little Dorset village of Abbotsbury where we get a chance to see the mariners beacon of St Catherine's Chapel. After a few peaceful nights at a lovely park up we travel to Cornwall where we stay at a Camping and Caravan CS site on the edge of Bodmin moor. More walking and running gives us chance to explore some of the medieval history of the area including stone circles known and the Hurling Stones and the legend behind it.
This is episode 115 in a series of videos cataloguing our post retirement adventures. We are Kath and Sue and we are travelling the UK with our two dogs Archie and Fudge and living full time in our Burstner Elegance Motorhome. We have given up conventional living for a new van-life, enjoying the freedom of the road and plenty of time outdoors taking in the beautiful countryside the UK has to offer.
Absolutely beautiful. I love the history our country has to offer.
It really is very special. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
Hi Thank goodness there are some people that do wish to show the history and countryside of the UK and enjoy living here 😊.

I asked my dog Malcolm which way and a lady in front me said “does he have a choice”. I replied “well it’s his walk”. It made her laugh. Lovely vlog as always.

If you are ever near Abbotsbury Dorset again. May suggest you try the Egg Cup Tea Rooms, on the B3157 - which is based upon a farm which also offers camping for Motorhomes/ Caravans. Excellent vlogs and most informative
Thank you for the tip. I’ll add it to our list of places. 🙏🤗🚌❤️
Jam first then cream. As it should be 😊.
