Definitely agree. I would have used some funky circle lenses instead of drawing the gigantic eyes to replicate the art, but as usual Lex's art is superb!
@@alyseandrews1066 yeah the eyes didn't look like eyes to me, because of where she decided to put the pupils. You can see in the art that it's partially covered by the eyes but hers is in the middle of the eye.

9/10, I just would of made the eyes a little more droopy but it still looks amazing!
I give this one an 8/10... compared to the actualy drawing. But i loved the facepaint regardless. Came out super dope 👍👌🔥
Only thing that’s less than a 10 is the eyes I couldn’t get the illusion part my mind just kept seeing closed eyes with blue shadow not opened eyes

I love it. Give it a 9/10. I think the teeth would've turned out better if, like you said, the top would've gotten some white too and if the top lip extended higher up towards your nose with more cupid's bow definition. I think the original artist is going to be excited either way 😁

God, me too. I LOVE my jazz music, but truly.. oddly it feels like I lost part of me when I stopped the rock. And the only reason I did was because I was scared of YT's rules! It's back, and here to stay

If I was rating recreation: 7/10
If I was rating interpretation: 9/10
- I think the corner of the eyes were pointed up a little too much (it was less droopy looking than the picture)
- The lip shape could've been sharper
- The iris placement was more in the middle of the eye instead of closer to the top of the eyelid
Other than me nitpicking minor details, I think the artist would absolutely love what you did ☺️ Changes are to be expected when you're recreating something on a different canvas, like how you made the eyes bigger to be easier to work with to add the details 👍

HAHAHHAA!! Its not really a matter if you can draw or not! If you want to submit something, submit it! :D I really just look for things that I will have fun doing, or may be challenging.. which, sometimes the less detailed the art is, the harder it is to turn into a body paint :)
This was amazing! Im giving it a 9/10, but only because I would've loved to see the extra little lines (tattoos?) on your arms like in the original! Wonderful job!

despite the fact that you obviously have mad skills at this and it ended up looking amazing anyway, the eyes made it look like a different drawing? like, you looked more anime with those big eyes staring forward, instead of the drawing's sad, droopy eyes that look more up.
but again, it looks incredibly good anyway and, most importantly, you have more knowledge about makeup and you did the best you could do in adaptation!

10/10 painting a 2D object onto a 3D surface and getting all the detail and depth is incredible. I saw the illusions as you were painting them on I was momentarily hypnotized.

9.5/10 Amazing, recreating a piece like a painting on one's face has extra challenges. You have serious art skills!
For recreation 8/10. Mainly just because you lost a lot of the orange from around the eyes which is what draws me into the original the most. The stark contrast of those blue eyes and the orange shadow. But you are still absolutely incredible. You can make yourself into an incredible work of art so all the props to you.
9/10 because of the teeth and the pupils, I think they could've been bigger! But that's just a props to the artist really, this is so GORGEOUS even Lex didn't manage to fully translate its perfection

I really like how this turned out, but I think the eyes pull it a bit too far away from the original art. It's a great look on it's own, and the eyes look gorgeous, but it's a bit too dissimilar for me.

This is absolutely amazing, both the original and your interpretation! I’m going to give it a 9, the reason being that I think the illusion of a long neck would have really polished off the level of unsettled one my feel while looking at the original art.
