i really love that lex took the time to say that little speech about using body paint and to not use other kinds of paint and for raelani to ask her mom to buy her special paint for her skin if she wanted to try this. she was really sweet. raelani did such a good job and i loved watching lex bring it to life! i hope for more kid's drawings like this in the future!
Raelani is so talented and her drawing is so pure! I love that kids can see planet Earth in such a colorful and clean way as opposed to how us the adults have treated it for the past years. Hopefully she continues to do amazing artwork- she is extremely talented and imaginative.

Not only did you do a wonderful job with the painting, bit the way you went about it and kept an appropriate language for the kids (as in, choice of easier to understand words, keeping your sentences shorter and less complicated etc.) was amazing to see. It's clear to see you're easy with children and enjoy being in their company.

At 6 I was drawing the characters from the old school cartoon 'Daria' (one of my favorite cartoons) I then began to draw anime & manga & now after many years ahead, I'm now drawing landscapes & portraits. My son is now 6 is also very creative & shocks me at how detailed his drawings can be, like robots, landscape, people... Etc. This 6 year old will only exceed to be a great artist if she continues to pursue it. Loved this clip & it turned out great. Thank you.

This was brilliant!! Please carry on this series, I'm not an artist or a parent but I think it's so important that we as adults encourage children's creativity.
I like this, but I do wish I could have seen a more realistic approach as well. Kids don't have the motor skills to draw what they want sometimes, so it would have been nicer to see what you could have done with it, you know?
That would be nice to see, but for some, that could appear as Lex one-upping the child's drawing. It's better for the kid to feel like their artwork isn't lacking than to show them their flaws. As an adult, such treatment is not advised, but young children are very impressionable and criticizing something (positive) that they love to do could break their passion to commit.
To each their own in how they want to treat a kid, this is just my humble opinion.
@@bloodysapphire49 Making her drawing better then putting that into her makeup wouldn't be shaming her in any way. those are the few that might misunderstand things easier then most. Its still keep her design, its still giving her credit for her good work, its just taking what she envisioned, and putting that to makeup.
