Brittany I absolutely adored this video, it was so informative and well put together, on a technical level it looked great, and was very well edited. I think you’re doing a wonderful job with this series, I haven’t been very inspired by clothes this year (due to obvious reasons) and your content has really made me feel excited to get dressed again.

Such a great series! Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into it. That arket puffer is my dream puffer, I think particularly because it’s not as big a puff, the newer version does seem a bit more rigid and less fluid. So much great information in the video. Really helpful and interesting. Can’t wait for trousers! X

Great video, Brittany. Thanks. 2 years ago, I did look at the Arket puffer & wasn’t very impressed tbh as I thought it was quite flimsy but, as you say Brittany, it may have improved since then. Later on that day, I picked up an almost identical one from (shock horror!) Primark for £35! I wore it all winter long as it was warm and recently took it out of storage & it looks brand new. The Arket Fishtail parka is another story. It’s amazing. It has a strong Scandi cool vibe, is oversized for layering up, keeps me bone dry and has loads of adjustable details on it. I have worn it in all kinds of rainy weather including marshalling a marathon in a downpour and it still looks great!

Brittany, would you feel comfortable sharing your measurements? It’s ok if not, but it would be really useful (I’m sure to lots of us!) as I think we are a similar shape but you’re a little slimmer and I LOVE the way you play with proportion in your outfits and sometimes want a similar fit to what you have in an item and don’t know how much to size up for myself. ❤️

Love this video! I am into long coats as well so this is really right up my alley. I didn't even realise it was a long video! Re. Asian sizing, I totally agree ( I am Asian). I am about 5 ft 6 i don't consider myself to be in the tall category but I regularly struggle to find clothes from some Asian brands that fit properly. Very often the sleeves are too short, and the trousers all end up looking cropped. I often have to go to US/European brands instead.

Really love this series, as well as your vlogs! I know you probably feel like you already have so many points to mention about each piece, but could you also mention where they are made? And if the brand is good at disclaiming their production & sourcing process. For me, when investing in something, and thinking about cost vs. quality, it is not only down to physical quality of the fabric and seams but if the money is actually spent on the making of the garment too. Would love to see trousers next :D

Brittany just wanted to thank you for including the sizing information for inclusivity! I'm so tired of only seeing brands that offer XS-L sizes over and over! I am on the cusp between normal and plus sizes and especially with clothes that are more minimal style, it is impossible to shop with brands that are more higher-end and larger sizes, which is just a shame. When I was younger, it made me feel so excluded, and like I do not deserve to dress in beautiful clothes... Luckily I mostly don't think like this anymore, but the world still hasn't changed much, unfortunately. Thank you for talking about this!

Coats are my fave clothing category but I can only wear them on trips because I live in a tropical country. Funny how the first you mentioned is the uniqlo blocktech.. I super love mine and highly recommend it to everyone! The cotton twill feel is spot on and is my fave aspect of the coat as it doesn’t make it look like a raincoat. I have the short version which was literally the only outerwear I used the past 3 years. Just recently, I chanced upon a longline navy one on the preloved market for about 10 USD. Crazy seller but good for me 😂

I recently sold my normal-length one and am considering the long, as I had the same problem with my trousers being soaked after a rainstorm lol.
Would you mind commenting on Studio Nicholson outerwear sizing? I bought one of their trenches in a recent sale (in a 0, I'm a similar size and height to you) and it was comically large. Luckily I was able to return it, but just so I don't make the same mistake again... do you go for the 00 usually? Do you still have to get it tailored to fit you better? Thank you!

I’m Korean and I don’t take offense to the sizing assessment! It’s absolutely true korean brands run smaller, I’m 5.1’ and shopping there is an absolute dream - most things fit off the rack. Whereas where I live in Canada I have to often get things tailored since I’m too petite 😂 Korean culture does tend to be quite fatphobic which is a huge problem.

Janetson91 I’d rather that than the commonly seen ever increasing unhealthy obesity and all its costly medical problems in the west. 😀

I really covet the grey Acne coat - such a different silhouette for you, and that silver D-ring...

Absolutely love this series! It’s all good and fine with brands now being inclusive with clothing sizing, but how is no one talking about shoe sizing, not every woman has small feet, and brands don’t go beyond size 9 which really isn’t inclusive

what beanie are you wearing in the try on for the arket jacket? side note, since watching your vlogs i find your style influencing mine a lot. i have been gravitating towards more tailored silhouettes in my tees like the uniqlo u. i have been thinking of ordering more since i saw you in the yellow one many vlogs back. i've been following you on instagram for ages but pictures just don't translate as well as video i think. thank you!
