Ambrose was an absolute beast! He absolutely carried RPM and seemed genuinely appreciative of the opportunity to drive for The King. He is one of my all time favorite Petty drivers. Can you imagine him in today's car at WG ? Omg..... or even Circuit of the Americas..... he woukd Win or Crash but either way it would be exciting 🏁

Full time may be out of the question, maybe as a Enduro Co Driver, could still happen since he never won the Bathurst 1000 in his great career.

While Marcos Ambrose did drive over 200 mph at Michigan during Qualifying. In NASCAR qualifying does not set the lap record. The official lap record time has to be set during the race. Therefore the Qualifying record is an Unofficial lap record

Ambrose was gun driver in the V8's, a 2 time champion in 2003 & 2004. Shame he never won the Bathurst 1000, that elusive piece to the puzzle.
