The fact that Across the Spider-Verse accidentally retroactively made the Morbius post credits scene make sense is really fucking funny actually holy shit
@@gracekim1998 In the aftermath of Kingpin's multiverse shenanigans, people from alternate dimensions began popping up in dimensions that weren't their own. Miguel and Co. are going around fixing that and sending people home. Presumably, this is an explanation as to why Vulture is in the Morbiusverse, though it remains to be seen if they're going to address the fact that he should be glitching if that's the explanation.
I don't even bother waiting for post credits scenes anymore because 95% of time it amounts to nothing. Kingdom hearts 1 added two post credits scenes in the us version (one that has to be unlocked) because they knew at that point they were getting a sequel.
It’s sad because if you remember, the original plan was to have Micheal Keaton be the new Batman. There were set photos of Bruce ‘89 and Barry out in the courthouse, and the Batgirl movie was the first result of that. Supposedly Aquaman 2 as well, since they filmed two different Batman cameos with Keaton and Affleck because they had no idea which Batman they were going with. There’s more evidence to support this because it’s confirmed that they filmed three endings for this. The Clooney ending, the Keaton ending and the Batman ‘89 with Flash, Supergirl and Wonder Woman together. But as you already know, The WBD merger happened, James Gunn is now in control and we’ll just have to wait and see what’s gonna happen with the DCU.
No it actually made sense because just like Ezra Miller, Clooney's movie failed also so they both got exiled to the universe with all of the bad superhero movies
The Black Adam one was easily the funniest to me. The whole movie was basically a vanity project in the purest definition for Dwayne Johnson to sell himself as a leading vehicle for blockbusters and he basically used Henry Cavill's genuine love for Superman and desire to return to the role as a way to prop himself up as the center of DC's film strategy. The fact it backfired almost immediately is such sweet karma
It’s literally like that one joke in HISHE Superhero Cafe with the Snyder Cut. How these teased Darkseid was coming but we still have The Batman. As HISHE Superman said; “If you’re gonna be The Batman, how can Darkseid even come here if your timeline is about to be reset?” Same with here, how can we get Black Adam vs Superman if their timeline is about to be rebooted with The Flash movie?
I like A lot Black Adam 2022 but, ironically enough, I loved it for the 2° characters(Hawkman, Fate, Atom Smasher & Cyclone *THE MAIN CHARACTER ITSELF(black adam), was the most bland part of it*
The fact Dwayne Johnson wanted to make a Superman movie where he plays a villain that is CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED TO NOT LOSE. Is hilarious and shows that he needs to stay miles away from creative control
I'm pretty sure it was confirmed the mysterious figure in TASM & TASM2 was The Gentleman. He's an obscure Spider-Man villain that only showed up in the novels and was involved with the death of Peter's parents, the post-credit scene of TASM2 is pretty accurate when you think about it because all of his appearences involve The Sinester Six.
Yeah, he's Gustav Fiers, AKA the Gentleman. His brother Karl Fiers, AKA the Finisher, was the one to kill Peter's parents in a plane at the opening of 'TASM2'.
Cavill's return as Superman still hurts the most. It's such a kick in the balls seeing how he got screwed over so hard. Also, the fact that ATSV straight-up justified Vulture's cameo is Morbius makes ATSV 1000 times better. lol
It just annoys me how bad superman and his actors has been done in live-action. They could've kept brandon for the long haul, get an entire trilogy out of him like with christian bale, but nope, had to cancel his sequel (which was really interesting and the movie didn't even do that bad at the box-office). Then with cavill, they literally bring him back just to immediately throw him away.
@My_pfp_beats_all_dog_breeds. you not liking the movies is irrelevant to their quality and Superman's legacy. MoS is genuinely an amazing movie and the only reason anyone can hate it is that they're blind to its strengths
I remember being surprised the secret man in TASM2 was supposed to be The Gentleman from the Sinister Six novels. He was tied to the death of Peter's parents in that book, so he was a pretty reasonable choice in villain. The movies could've worked at bringing him into the public eye a bit more and even possibly introducing Pity. Shame Sony decided to make TASM2 eight movies in one and killed the franchise.
Fun fact: The Stunt double for Superman in Peacemaker once tried to scam a latin american group of fans into donate him to make a movie A movie about what? Who knows
The Black Adam one will always be funny to me because you have Dwayne Johnson hyping up this fight between Black Adam and Superman (despite the fact that Black Adam and Superman aren’t even rivals, though I’ll give the Rock kudos for getting Henry Cavil back for the first time in 5 years) and then when James Gunn & Peter Safran decided they were gonna do a reboot, that project died.
@@tmac731 yes, but that was mainly a Shazam vs Black Adam movie, superman was just there as support and a nod to Superman inspiring Shazam. Black Adam doesn't work without Shazam, the contrast between young optimistic kid vs old, authoritarian ruler is what makes him so interesting. I don't think Black Adam should be a "anti-hero", he's a bad guy who, while deluding himself into believing he's just, has lost his way, which is why he needed to be replaced.
@@tmac731 yeah, they do fight sometimes, hell adam even fought superman's evil counterpart, but that's never been the main selling point, at most its just because they're two super powerful beings and Adam is kind of like an evil Superman (Although that itself comes from Shazam's relation to superman and adam's dark paralleling of him).
@@ProjektTaku Idk, I like Black Adam as this Doctor Doom-esque character, where he's a bad guy, but he's still the leader of a nation that needs to care for its citizens. Him being just this foil to some annoying kid... is really boring, unless he's going to win and actually beat up the kid, but we know they'll never actually do something like that, specially with The Rock.
I still think the one in Homecoming is going to happen. I think that Scorpion is a very possible villian they will use for the fourth MCU Spider-Man movie. I'm still mad that we haven't got an Incredible Hulk sequel, and that we are going to see Leader in a Captain America movie instead of a Hulk movie.
They're turning Cap 4 into a sort of Hulk 2 without (no proof of this) the hulk/s. Which I think is fine considering there is no Hulk without Cap in the mcu. They were trying to make a super soldier army and fucked up like they always do. Red Hulk will probably be in it too. Too bad William Hurt couldn't see through what I'm guessing he was promised back in 06/07. RIP I say expect a cameo from She-Hulk or "smart" Hulk tho. it just wouldnt make sense to not have them in there in some way.
They can't actually make another Hulk movie because Universal still owns the rights. It's why he's such a prominent character in Avengers movies instead.
Quick correction: The people in charge of Black Atom okayed the Henry Cavil cameo because Dwayne Johnson threatened to quit if they didn't, pulling the entire stunt without WB's knowledge
Part of my problem with the MCU is that they barley setup future movies with their post credits scenes. Sure we got some that were followed like the first Thor movie or course Infinity War, but then we get stuff like the Scorpion teaser in Spider-Man Homecoming, or the Mordo teaser in Doctor Strange. Both of them are either ignored, or just treated as a joke in the sequels. I’m telling ya, the MCU have pointless credits scenes that don’t follow anywhere.
I never took the post credit scene as Constantine as sequel bait. It was an additional last scene indicating which side of the fence Chas landed on. Even the way it's shot and directed feels like this, it's not sinister there's no real music. It's just wrapping a bow and everything. Especially since you have to think the post credits scene thing wasn't nearly as big when it released
Clear bias going on on that segment. It had no reason to be in this list. People still have trouble with the concept that fictional characters can have different iterations.
The post-credit scene for TASM 2 is actually a reference to Adam Troy Castros Spider-Man Revenge of the Sinister Six novels. The man in the hat is the Gentleman, and since it’s a reference to those books the plot may have had some pretty cool shit in it. Like a thirty minute fight scene across the entire city in a blizzard with the Vulture, or a battle with the Sinister Six in a crumbling Daily Bugle.
I've always found these hilarious. I remember ASM 2 had a collaboration with the music recognizing app Shazam. If you used it during the end credits of ASM 2 you'd get vague artwork of the sinister 6 weapons. Lol
How did Ezra not get fired Spoilers for flash movie The ending of the flash movie was the perfect way to recast Barry but no they gave us George Clooney Batman instead ( I kinda blame David Zaslav for cancelling batgirl )
I think an honorable mention worth bringing up. Is the end credit scene to solo a star wars story. How it ended teasing Darth Mauls return to the big screen, even bringing back Ray Parks and having him in full make up. Only for the movie to bomb along with fan and critics reception have any future installments be canned. And to this day with all the Disney Plus shows, this plot piont still hasn't been brought up sence.
The thing with some marvel post credits scenes that never get follow up on, it’s just that you have to wait a really long for them to even have the slightest acknowledgment
I'm pretty sure ConstantEEN is now the official pronunciation. Like even the creators of the character have just said as it's fine because he's been known as Teen not Tine for so long now that it's just how his name is now officially said.
I've always thought it was hilarious how much Slade/Deathstroke the Terminator has been elevated to a Justice League enemy, when he's struggled to beat a group of Teenagers at the weakest stage of their development. Much like Batman, the power of "Being Popular" trumps any superpower.
Honestly looking back on the Morbius post credits scene with Vulture, yeah it’s stupid, but it’s so idiotic in the way he says “I don’t know how I got here, has to do with Spider-Man I think.” that it becomes funny, like how did he get to the gigantic leap that Spider-Man was the one who caused this, even though he’s right it’s still funny to me because of the way he says it Btw I appreciate your use of Mad Dummy’s theme from Undertale, a certified bop if I do say so myself
I think the Hellboy 2019 post-credits scenes are the saddest ones because they were the parts of the movie that wasn't completely awful. Like, I would have killed for a Lobster Johnson film, but just when the film finally finds its groove, it ends, and since it bombed, welp.
Personally I wasn't a fan of the reboot. The original del Toro movies were great and deserved a third sequel I mean they even teased Hellboy having a half demon, half pyro-kenetic kid. I'm still kinda sour we never got that third movie cause del toro movies are amazing and weird and awesome and well written.
@@darkmyro While not 100% accurate to the original comics, the Del Toro films made up for it by being solid movies in of themselves, that anyone can watch and enjoy even without reading them. The 2019 reboot suffered from trying too hard to cater to comic fans by adding literally almost every aspect from multiple built up arcs in a single film, and even then, they still missed the point because they advertised this as a film similar to Deadpool thanks to its gore and over-the-top comedy, which contrary to popular belief, wasn't what the Hellboy comics were about.
At least Batman Unchained is coming back as the comic book mini-series Batman '89: Echoes. If we're counting animated movies, there's also the TMNT/Batman crossover movie that had an after-credits that led to nothing.
I kinda feel bad when these scenes lead to nowhere. It's like there's a genuine desire to expand the universe and give the hero another story arc to go through and villain to fight. Of course, there's definitely some ridiculous ones, but the really interesting ones always sting the hardest.
14:34 I think for Mr Sinister I would just write an interaction like this Mr. S: "The name is Mr. Sinister." Protag: "Your family must have been lovely." Mr. S: "They were just absolutely cruel." (He says with biggest smirk ever scene on film) Just spitballing. Edit:fixed some spelling
I guess it's not post-credits but I do enjoy the setup for a sequel to the live-action Super Mario Bros. movie. I think it would be interesting to explore this for superhero video games. The Arkham Origins games for example pitched the Suicide Squad, which I feel will be quite different from what shows up in the Rocksteady game.
Apparently, the writers of the live action Super Mario Bros. Movie have said that the ending was meant to be an homage to Back To The Future rather than legit sequel bait.
DCEU: Thank you! THANK YOU! JAMES GUNN HAS FREED US!!! James Gunn: Oh, I wouldn't say freed. More like... under new management. *Proceeds to commit DC reboot number 52*
This makes me think of the ending of Flash Gordon, where there's the "The End?" teaser. Would've been interesting to have had that movie get a follow-up. Though, it probably wouldn't have captured the same magic as the original.
I find it hilarious that this video, a video all about forgotten superhero movie teases, STILL forgot about the Leader tease in the Edward Norton Hulk movie. I know it’s not a post-credit scene, but it’s still so funny to me that no one, not even videos like this or Marvel themselves seem to remember it.
My favorite part about the Morbius credits scene is that it went over so much detail about Michael Keaton's arrival in the universe but didn't explain anything at all. Like, he shows up in the prison, and they go out of their way to explain how he got out of prison because he apparently didn't belong there. THEN he meets Morbius, I guess after reinventing all of his stuff. They could've just had him appear in a field somewhere but instead they just made a mini-story about how he got out of the prison.
That's 'cuz Vulture is not from that universe. 'Morbius' was originally meant to be set in the MCU, hence why both would meet each other in prison, but after 'Spider-Man - No Way Home', they had to make up a reason for Vulture showing up. Without that scene, it just seems like Vulture popped out of nowhere with no context. It was just a terrible idea from the start.
@radrno7 "Without that scene, it just seems like Vulture popped out of nowhere with no context." But that's what happened anyways. They also didn't meet each other in prison. The explanation is needless cuz they didn't end up explaining anything actually important. So it's just kind of a waste of time.
Is there a reason why DC and Marvel haven't tried to turn some of these cancelled scripts into comic miniseries? I know we've kinda gotten that with things like Batman 89? But if DC wants to have their cake and eat it too, why don't they just continue the Snyderverse as a collection of comic miniseries?
The Mendoza and James collaboration is always entertaining. I’m surprised ya didn’t mention the Bullseye one in DD 2003! I think having you two talk about things of this nature would be cool for another vid, maybe discuss comic-book video games that never were or somethjn.
@@comixproviderftw_02 yeah bullseye was revealed to be alive in a full body casket and killed a fly that was annoying him, ending it with him saying “Bullseye” at the end
Looking back at all of these end credit scenes that act like they're going to be getting sequels just makes me go though every Chris Evans laugh gif as hard as I can, it's that hilariously embarrassing how confident these studios think they are.
It will never stop infuriating me how good the Deathstroke suit was, only for us to never get a SINGLE FUCKING ACTION SCENE with that suit. Aside from some obvious changes like the helmet and undersuit, the armor took so many visual cues from the Arkham Origins Deathstroke design, which is arguably the best he's ever looked. And do we ever get to see it in motion? Absolutely not.
17:57 y'know I wonder if they're gonna bring Tom Holland into Beyond the Spiderverse because of that bit of venom that got left behind in NWH. Something along the lines of MCU Peter gets the symbiote. Society tries to imprison him, he steals a watch and goes on the run. By the time of ATSV he hears about Miles and decides to help him.
I'd love it if they did get a sequel and market it as an Elseworlds movie because of James Gunn's DCU announcement. I'm on the fence with Wonder Woman getting the same treatment since that already got cancelled and Aquaman because...you know.
@AJ-xc4qe feel like it's gonna depend on how well James Gunn s new slate does...if it goes well, I can definitely see them giving it another go or even just bringing them back in crossovers...
Sony is so clueless with their whole Sinister Six project that I'm almost starting to root for them. They're not really villains, not really heroes. What are they even supposed to do together. The team up will be a glorious insecure mess, and I hope against hope that it really happens
Yeah DC is particularly bad with these teasers, eapecially when its hyping up villains for the upcoming sequel. Green Lantern did it with Sinestro by giving him a yellow ring, only for the sequel (and plans for its first cinematic universe) to fall through. Justice League did it with Deathstroke, who enter the films as a potential partner for Lex to take on the Justice League in the sequel, only for that to not only be scrapped but completely change the direction of the DCEU plans. Finally Shazam did it with Mr. Mind who appear before Dr. Sivanna as a Big Bad for the next Shazam movie, only for the sequel to use original villains who barely have connection to Captain Marvel lore
Also never forget about daredevil season 3's last shot with bullseye being set up for a future confrontation against daredevil that probably won't happen in born again because Disney
@@gracekim1998 Is not shocking, is logical, The OG writers of Netlfix Daredevil are syndicatelized, & since Disney refuses to pay its writers, they always hire cheaper & nonunionized
I feel like calling Mister Mind an obscure Shazam villain disrespects his history. He used to be Shazam's archnemesis, the star of a storyline where he basically is chased all throughout the world by Shazam, outsmarting him at every opportunity and escaping until finally being backed into a corner. Granted, he's always treated as a joke but they have him killed because he's too dangerous to be kept alive. If anyone deserves to be a villain in a Shazam movie it's him. I mean, they made it work with Starro.
On my replay of the 2 Marvel Ultimate Alliance Games I was disappointed that the first game end credits game sequel set-up didnt connect with Galactus and all that jazz. (Off topic MUA1 is my favorite adaptation of Deadpools' Voice)
the Constantine post credits was not sequel bait, it was just a follow up to what shia's character wanted, he wanted to be a cool demon hunter like Constantine and since he died fighting a the literal son of lucifer heaven rewarded him by turning into an angel, Constantine felt good his friend's talents were recognized that all the scene was, it was not setting up a sequel, future fight, rivalry or anything.
i like how it takes so long to edit videos that Watchtower had to keep in mind the chance of there being a new green lantern movie before this was posted
I'm one of the few who was hyped for mr mind because I knew of him from batman brave and the bold, when I heard the voice I was like "fuck yeah, I know who that is"
AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 true post credit scene came after some sort of Easter egg hunt. When watching in theaters - when the end credits played, you had to Shazam the songs. You would then be taking to a website that played the real post credit scene. In it - the man in the hat entered the “vault” and went to run of the rooms - in it was Norman Osborne’s head in a case (no body, just the head) The hat man would lean in and say “Time to wake up old friend.” And Norman’s eyes would open. Cut to black
The big one of these you guys missed is from the original Super Mario Bros. movie when Daisy shows up with their fireball gun thing and is all like "Mario Bros we need your help in the Mushroom Kingdom!" and the adventure continues! . . . never again for 30 years.
Dwayne in his contract can't lose a fight, so the post credit scene couldn't go anywhere unless they recast the actor. It insinuates a fight, and that is the best we can do since we know Superman would win, but Rock contractually can't lose

I'd argue Teen Titans Go To The Movies has a particularly sad one (Yes there was the crossover movie, but I don't count it because that's clearly not what they had in mind).😭😭
My favourite sequel bait that went nowhere has to be the one at the end of thr live action Super Mario Bros movie, it's you're typical "vague hint at some new threat" but can you imagine what a sequel to that would actually be like?
Actually, it was supposed to be an homage to Back To The Future rather than actual sequel bait. But they didn't make the reference clear (I haven't even really watched Back To The Future so I wouldn't understood it anyway), and it instead feels like they're hyping up a sequel. There was that sequel comic book that seems to be in development hell, but it's not like they were based on rejected scripts or anything.
I like how the Thor post-credits scene makes it look like Loki might actually be Stellan Skarsgård‘s character in some way, (and even in the first Thor movie that seemed to be a question) similar to how in the Ultimates comic the first Avengers movie is based on has Loki pretending to be a scientist named Gunnar Golmen to trick people into thinking Thor wasn’t a god...people doubting Thor was actually the god of thunder Thor also being part of the first Thor movie. But then the Avengers movie comes out and it turns out he’s just mind controlling him because he touched him with his staff.
I think there’s a tangential video here on the post credits scenes that did go somewhere, just not where the people who made them thought they would go. Like those Thanos end credits.
I can’t believe you mentioned Masters of The Universe (1987) and left out Super Mario Bros. (1993) or The Last Airbender (2010) those are so noteworthy to mention in the non-superhero genres.
I already said this, but apparently the writers of the live action Super Mario Bros. Movie said that the ending was a Back To The Future homage, so there was no real sequel bait.
Let’s be really the only reason people want deathstroke to be in a Batman movie is because of cool fight scenes. The actual dynamic between the two isn’t very interesting
I was never a fan of either Man of Steel or Batman v Superman as well as its interpterion on Superman himself, and yet I feel nothing but pain that we'll never get to see Henry Cavil be Superman again since he was the only good thing to come from those films. Justice League and Josstice League did the man much better justice. Also Street Fighter The Movie had a end credit scene too. Had like, M Bison's hand coming out of rubble.
The irony of the Wolverine Origins scene is that it shows Wade with his mouth ripped back open and grunting in discomfort, implying the Merc would've gotten his mouth back. Not that it would've mattered at the time with how bad that movie was...
The old Street Fighter movie had a post credits scene exactly like Masters of the Universe, only for it to never go anywhere once the film rights to the series went to Fox and they made Legend of Chun-Li, and they tried the same thing by teasing a sequel featuring Ryu.
People who got excited over Cavill's Black Adam cameo, what did you think was going to be different? How was Cavill pleasing Rock's ego going to be any better than what we got before?
People back then were laughing at the multiple sequel set ups in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and how they went nowhere. No joke, the Amazing films were the black sheep of the film franchise and were seen as jokes. Fast forward to today and people are now begging for an Amazing Spider-Man 3. Peter may have spider powers, but it's the fans that came crawling back. Andrew Garfield won.
Thank you for including so many different movies in the discussion, and not just talking about the Snyderverse, and or the Sony Spider-man spinoffs which have basically already became clickbait by this point. You and Benji have great chemistry and should do events like this more often. It was amazing that Batman & Robin made the list. That was our opportunity to see a Nightwing movie. So that is kind of sad for me and other fans of his character. I also appreciate you talking about Power Rangers, even though you're not a big fan of it. Thank you for doing such furrow research!
It doesn’t completely count but I’d consider the post credit scene for doctor strange to be one of these since we never see it followed up on and they just say he dealt with it off screen in the sequel

Cavill's return as Superman still hurts the most. It's such a kick in the balls seeing how he got screwed over so hard. Also, the fact that ATSV straight-up justified Vulture's cameo is Morbius makes ATSV 1000 times better. lol
I feel bad for the super man fans for audience reactions literally screaming for him to be a sequel

@My_pfp_beats_all_dog_breeds. every superhero you like exists only thanks to Superman buddy
Oh, and I just remembered, the live-action Jem and the Holograms movie had a post-credits scene that also went nowhere bcs the movie flopped.
Oh yeah, with The Misfits.

They aren’t rivals but they did fight plenty of times. There’s a great animated movie Shazam Superman v Black Adam
@@ProjektTaku I agree with everything you said. Superman isn’t the foe of Adam but they did fight
@@ProjektTaku
Idk, I like Black Adam as this Doctor Doom-esque character, where he's a bad guy, but he's still the leader of a nation that needs to care for its citizens. Him being just this foil to some annoying kid... is really boring, unless he's going to win and actually beat up the kid, but we know they'll never actually do something like that, specially with The Rock.
It would be funny if BOTH the Venom and Scorpion end-credits payed off in the same movie and we got Scorpion-Venom from Dark reign.
That's still possible and hopefully what they WILL be doing with Venom in the MCU since they've already used Eddie Brock in the Sony movies.
Does DragonBall Evolution count? The post credits scene of that shows Piccolo is actually alive and being nursed back to health.
My dream is scorpion and black cat for the new Spider-Man but we’ll see
Yeah I think Scorpion still has a chance of happening, some people even think they might go the Gargan Venom route too.
My bet is he gets the Symbiote so we get Mac Gargan Venom amd the mpvoe ends with the symbiote bonding with Peter
Quick correction: The people in charge of Black Atom okayed the Henry Cavil cameo because Dwayne Johnson threatened to quit if they didn't, pulling the entire stunt without WB's knowledge
Doesn't surprise me at all

Part of my problem with the MCU is that they barley setup future movies with their post credits scenes. Sure we got some that were followed like the first Thor movie or course Infinity War, but then we get stuff like the Scorpion teaser in Spider-Man Homecoming, or the Mordo teaser in Doctor Strange. Both of them are either ignored, or just treated as a joke in the sequels. I’m telling ya, the MCU have pointless credits scenes that don’t follow anywhere.
I would've loved to heave seen birth of those too
I never took the post credit scene as Constantine as sequel bait.
Lol
LOL, I didn't knew that fact 🤣

The ending of the flash movie was the perfect way to recast Barry but no they gave us George Clooney Batman instead ( I kinda blame David Zaslav for cancelling batgirl )
The Deathstroke one saddened me the most. I saw screen test footage of what could’ve been and I was left wanting more. 😅
Was that the footage where he looks to be walking out of a plane?

Deathstroke: I wouldn't wanna fight me neither.

Honestly looking back on the Morbius post credits scene with Vulture, yeah it’s stupid, but it’s so idiotic in the way he says “I don’t know how I got here, has to do with Spider-Man I think.” that it becomes funny, like how did he get to the gigantic leap that Spider-Man was the one who caused this, even though he’s right it’s still funny to me because of the way he says it
Btw I appreciate your use of Mad Dummy’s theme from Undertale, a certified bop if I do say so myself
Yeah
@@kingbash6466 honestly I think it's better when they don't try to just copy the comics.
At least Batman Unchained is coming back as the comic book mini-series Batman '89: Echoes.

The Super Koopa Cousins!
I kinda feel bad when these scenes lead to nowhere. It's like there's a genuine desire to expand the universe and give the hero another story arc to go through and villain to fight. Of course, there's definitely some ridiculous ones, but the really interesting ones always sting the hardest.

I think for Mr Sinister I would just write an interaction like this
Mr. S: "The name is Mr. Sinister."
Protag: "Your family must have been lovely."
Mr. S: "They were just absolutely cruel." (He says with biggest smirk ever scene on film)
Just spitballing.
Edit:fixed some spelling
That's actually pretty good. & I read that protagonist in the voice of Emma Frost (if that makes sense)
I guess it's not post-credits but I do enjoy the setup for a sequel to the live-action Super Mario Bros. movie.
I think it would be interesting to explore this for superhero video games. The Arkham Origins games for example pitched the Suicide Squad, which I feel will be quite different from what shows up in the Rocksteady game.
however it does also have the fun post credit scene with the “Super Koopa Cousins”
Wasn't Origins Suicide Squad teaser a set up for the Blackgate mobile game? That's what I remember hearing at the time.
@@reddeadspartan The Suicide Squad in general. Blackgate introduces Bronze Tiger into the fray and Rick Flagg.
I come from the future! Yeah... wayyy different than what we expected that's for sure.

@@NS-xx1ze If that happens that'll be the longest delayed payoff in connected film history other than maybe the Before Sunset trilogy.

Sony: Are you ready to see Spider-Man vs The Sinister Six that most of them are boring or bad

Sony: WHAT?
17:57 y'know I wonder if they're gonna bring Tom Holland into Beyond the Spiderverse because of that bit of venom that got left behind in NWH.
Something along the lines of MCU Peter gets the symbiote. Society tries to imprison him, he steals a watch and goes on the run.
By the time of ATSV he hears about Miles and decides to help him.
I feel sorry for Zachary Levi...his shazam had a lot of potential
I'd love it if they did get a sequel and market it as an Elseworlds movie because of James Gunn's DCU announcement. I'm on the fence with Wonder Woman getting the same treatment since that already got cancelled and Aquaman because...you know.

The (sadly short lived) CGI animated Green Lantern show was great in investigating the lore.
Sony is so clueless with their whole Sinister Six project that I'm almost starting to root for them. They're not really villains, not really heroes. What are they even supposed to do together. The team up will be a glorious insecure mess, and I hope against hope that it really happens

Ron Pearlman as Slade is peak, he helped make Teen Titans the amazing show it was!

I feel like calling Mister Mind an obscure Shazam villain disrespects his history.
He used to be Shazam's archnemesis, the star of a storyline where he basically is chased all throughout the world by Shazam, outsmarting him at every opportunity and escaping until finally being backed into a corner.

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 true post credit scene came after some sort of Easter egg hunt.
When watching in theaters - when the end credits played, you had to Shazam the songs. You would then be taking to a website that played the real post credit scene.
In it - the man in the hat entered the “vault” and went to run of the rooms - in it was Norman Osborne’s head in a case (no body, just the head)
The hat man would lean in and say
“Time to wake up old friend.”
And Norman’s eyes would open.

The Clooney ending, the Keaton ending and the Batman ‘89 with Flash, Supergirl and Wonder Woman together ending. Furthermore, it’s also confirmed that WB wanted Batman ‘89 to be the Nick Fury of the DCEU. But as you already know, The WBD merger happened, James Gunn is now in control and that Batgirl was sent to tax write off hell, including whatever plans they originally had with Blue Beetle, Aquaman 2, now we’ll just have to wait and see what’s gonna happen with the DCU.
@cosmicsatanas I know, that’s what I said. Maybe I should’ve rearranged it better. But still.
Another example of this is the Marvel's Avengers video game from 2020. The post credit scene teased a sequel that likely won't see the light of day.
