You and Jacks conversations about random things like "why certain bugs live or exist" remind me of conversations I've had with my own dad. I live in SE Louisiana, so we do not get much snow, but we do get Hurricanes., like five in 2020. My reason for this comment is, I saw your video where you say you are in debt and the one where you say you are now debt-free. Unless you are not like me, having to work each day to support your family, my wife is disabled confined to a wheelchair. There is a story about king David who asked god why did he create the wasp, and god replies ”one day you will know ”. And then later when David was a fugitive from Saul he went to steal his water but the sleeping abner son of ner blocked David with his legs and he was trapped until a wasp came and stung the legs and freed David
Funny to hear either coast loggers dogging each other. I’ve logged in many states and I know this. All loggers work like dogs for very little money. Some of the hardest work a man can do, who cares where.
wasps help with pollination but an additional benefit for us is that they control the number of insects, without them we we be overrun with insects. Its all part of the natural balance of nature. We need insects as they perform a function but we need other creatures that eat insects to control the numbers of insects but not wipe them out totally.
You may or may not be told this every video but want to thankyou for the effort you put into your videos. Been watching for around 7-8 years now and you only ever seem to get better!
Wasps are predators and are actually beneficial so long as you remain clear of their nest. Most insects overwinter either as eggs or pupae or in their cocoon.
As to wasps, they kill a huge number of insects, some species are pollinators. If you can stay on their good side they are pretty handy to have around.
The purpose of an East Coast guy is to remind you West Coast guys that the transmission as well as the transfer case MUST be in gear for the vehicle to move.
Apparently wasps are predators and help control populations of greenfly, caterpillars, and other pests. This is a positive impact for farmers and gardeners, alike. Now I don't have a good reason to hate them anymore lol.
Aren’t wasps responsible for more pollination than Bees? They also digest wood waste, and play a part in the job of keeping forest floors from becoming yards deep in branch drop and leaf litter.
Believe it or not wasps do more good than harm. They play a vital role in protecting gardens and farm crops by controlling pest populations. They capture and consume insects such as flies, caterpillars and beetle larvae. According to google.

My friend's dad had a diesel-powered sawmill that had sawblades 5 feet in diameter used for cutting hard wood like oak over here on the east coast.
My dad worked at a handle factory and the blades they used were over 5 feet.
Indeed, all that hard wood here on the east coast makes a saw work for a living!
